Pretty lame blanket statement to claim that PSN users appreciate art more than 360 users. PSN might have an older demographic percentage wise who appreciate artistic titles. But we're talking percentages here. Even if the older gamer percentage on the 360 is lower (if they actually have data to support this claim) XBL has more gamers period, so they would likely sell more copies of these games on the 360 vs. the PSN.

I'm an older gamer, and I enjoy my 360 more than my PS3. I bought my PS3 because I got a smoking deal on it, not because I prefer it. I do enjoy the exclusive titles on the PS3, Heavy Rain, little big planet, Uncharted Series, Demon Souls, but if these same titles were available for the 360, I would have purchased them for the 360 and would have no use for my PS3 other than to watch blu-ray

I don't see it happening..the banning of used games. I think it takes too much freedom away from the gamers. When you're tired of a game, the nice thing is, you can lend it to a friend or sell it or keep it. If your only choice is to keep your game or throw it in the trash, that's not a good experience. I really doubt they will take this away from us.

However, since most games now have an online component, we'll probably see more and more game publishers require an online pass as we see all too often with EA titles. I know this method has worked for me on titles I care about like BF3. just bought it new because getting it used with the online pass is more expensive than buying it new with the online pass included.

@mjswooosh NOT GONNA HAPPEN. As much as it sounds like a good idea in your head, it will never happen. Not because MS doesn't have a brain. But because MS isn't a retail company. Outside of their very small handful of MS stores, they've never shown interest in doing a mass buy out of a retailer. And why would they. They're a software company at their core. They depend on retailers to make $$. No reason for them to become a retailer when they already have thousands of retailers worldwide doing all the work to sell their products for them. If they buy out a a massive retailer like gamestop, they are just going to piss off all of the retail partners who compete with Gamestop. Would be a foolish move. MS isn't a retailer and they never will be.

@mjswooosh If they had any brains at all they would buy Gamestop? Like it is that easy. Sure MS and Sony have the money to make a purchase, but Gamestop would have to first agree to sell. Secondly, if MS buys gamestop then I don't think Sony or Nintendo would be interested in having their products sold there for MS to get a cut of everything that is sold by their competitors. Another problem with your idea. MS or Sony owns gamestop..suddenly best buy, Wal-mart, Amazon.com and hunreds of other retailers worldwide would be in direct competition with MS. Why would MS or Sony want to own a massive game chain and begin to compete with other retailers who also carry their products. That makes no sense. MS, Sony, Nintendo all get a cut of everything sold with a PS, XBOX, or Nintendo logo on it. That includes third party peripherals and accessories. All of these products are licensed and therefore they get a cut, so why would they want to compete directly against the sales of their own products with other retailers when they get a cut of everything sold anyway. It wouldn't make sense not to mention this would probably be a violation of the competition laws and an anti-trust violation of some sort.

Whichever console allows used games will be the console that sells the best. Odds are, none of them will block used game sales. Not being able to sell or buy used games will infuriate the masses.

@ExtremePhobia - yeah you're right. It is a cash cow for Activision, so as long as the masses keep supporting it, they'll keep cranking them out, year after year. That was more of a wish than a realistic expectation on my part :) The COD franchise is to Activision as Madden is to EA. As long as people blindly buy these games, these companies have no reason to invest real time and effort into making it better.

1:18 - Tim Tebow? Really Treyarch....Really? So is Tebowing going to replace Tea-bagging in this game? COD keeps getting worse and worse. Activision really should quit while they're ahead.

"But what happens when the enemy steals the key!" LAME! Billions of dollars spent on unmanned drones and attack robots, but somebody forgot to protect that technology with security features...uh huh. Right. And even if it were possible to hack that technology, they wouldn't build auto disable/ self destruct features if hacking attempts were made. Okay COD, let's just stick to Modern Warfare or historic military campaigns, and leave the future warfare concepts to people like Tom Clancy and Ubisoft. Clearly you're reaching on this one. Maybe instead of cranking out a new COD title every year between Treyarch and Infinity Ward, you should just focus your efforts on making one really good shooter every 2-3 years instead of giving us the same game over and over. It is getting so over the top now and it is getting really old.
