I feel i get a fraction of the content with both versions. The difference is I can fork over more money to buy the rest of the game on the 360.[QUOTE="LittleHands134"]
Does anyone else feel like they wasted their money in buying Fallout 3 for the PS3? It seems like we only get a fraction of the content that a 360 user gets from it, considering we miss out on three entire DLC expansions that would add hours of content to the game.

You have got to be kidding
No not in my opinion it is the price. It is a fact that the price is hurting it. Where have you been for the last few years? Everybody and their mother knows the price is the biggest factor in why it isn't selling as well as it should be. Games are no longer as factor because the PS3 has enough games and enough that are good. Games would have been another factor 1.5 years ago, but not today. Or are you saying it is my opinion that the PS3 is the better console? If so, then again no, it is a fact that the PS3 is the better console. Games have nothing to do with it. Games are not the console, they are the software played on the console. I am talking about the hardware. You want to say it is opinion on which has better games or online service.....fine, but to say the 360 is a better console or say that the PS3 being a better console is opinion and not fact is just silly.

This is without a doubt the biggest nonsense post I've read on SW in a while. You talk about the high price of PS3 as something completely detached from choices Sony made and was something bestowed upon them from someone else! I see this all the time on these boards. The PS3 is in LAST place and hemmoraging money for Sony because of choices they made with the hardware. Sure it has higher quality components than the 360 and more features but how has that worked out for Sony? All nails in an overpriced coffin.
The 360 was designed in a way to keep costs low and provide a very straightforward development platform. This alone has pushed it above the PS3 in market where the Playstation brand was king.
You can keep your Blu-Ray drive and Cell processor because this fact alone means everyone and their mother knows for every meaningful metric the 360 is the 'better' console.
So my friend finally decided to buy a console and, despite my best efforts, he went with the 360. I had warned him about my experiences with the machine but there was no stopping him.
Anyway, he bought it on saturday and, no kidding, it RROD'd on saturday evening...
Obviously it was a faulty system and he took it back and got another one which seems to be working so far, but it made me giggle like a little girl.. which i am not...

Haven't you done this thread before??
The 360 isn't particularly unique although Live does make it stand out from the crowd. It just simply does everything the PS3 does better and cheaper.
99% of mods are garbage.
The ability to play games, it'll retain it's blu ray playback ability, however.clembo1990
Who would notice? :D
I totally disagree with the TC. somethings should be free and some should not. we're approaching a 'stage' where a fighting game like Street Fighter would come with like 4 characters and other characters would be DLC, dont say it cant happen because it can. I dont care what anyone says, any DLC that is released the same day as the game, is nothing but daylight robbery. Also, I saw in a forum where someone 'hacked' alternate costumes in Street Fighter IV, he paid nothing, all the costumes are already on the disc. MightyMuna
So after reading the reviews/box of a new Streetfighter with only 4 characters, you'd happily buy it??
When you bought SFIV, were you happy with what you paid for what you got with the original game? So only when the costumes were released after were you suddenly not happy with what you paid for the original game??
TC, you whole point gets flushed down the tubes when you consider the pricing of games with MP. Why not have the SP cheaper and sell another version with the SP and MP for $60? You see, if someone goes and buys Halo 3, they are paying for the online MP. And then the people that want to pay online get double-dipped when adding Live fees. Either the people that only play SP's get screwed, or the people paying for Live fees are getting screwed. Either way, someone is getting screwed.[QUOTE="IronBass"]So true. The "should be free" attitude makes me think that some people actually believe that companies owe something to them. They are companies. They offer a product. If you like it, you get it. If not, not. There nothing more. No one, nore the companies nor the gamers have any "moral obligation" here.PoppaGamerSo you think its right that people get charged for MP that never use it? They don't have a right to get value for their money? Like I said above, if the priced the games with and without MP, that makes more sense. But they don't. People get screwed.
If you are aware up front of what exactly you're entitled do then explain how anyone is getting 'screwed'?? Are you saying you are willingly screwing yourself?
Halo 3 single player costs, lets say, $30
Halo 3 single player plus multiplayer costs $30 + $4 per month.
You knew this when you read the box before you purchased it, so I ask again, how are you screwed?
why should i shell out for some half assed service ontop of the $10 console premium
voxware00
Herein lies the whole concept of 'buying stuff'. Because you knew when you purchased the game that this is how much it costs to play online.
X product costs Y. I think it's worth money, I buy it, if I don't, I don't. What is there to even discuss??
