@DinoBuster I have played 2 Onechanbara games (JP 360) and Lolipop chainsaw. Onechanbara is bit of a brain dead hack-n-slash game with good boss fights. Lolipop chainsaw is similar but it had such great style and presentation. The combat wasn't good at all but it was just so fun to play and progress, unlock moves/costumes etc.
I am not seeing a unique appeal here. So I am not sure.
@bdous They made special visual improvements for the PS4 and Xbox One version like dynamic trees that sway with the wind, more foliage, light scattering on skin, updated Lara model etc.
The PC version is the same as the consoles one. So you can play it on higher resolutions and better fps with tesselation but the game would still look better on the PS4/X1 version even if your PC is capable of more.
Look up eurogamer's digital foundry Tomb Raider face off for a detailed comparison.
Yes it is a lot of value. But thats not what's annoying us. Its the practice of announcing and and preparing DLC before the game is even released. Where it is entirely possible to put it in the game by release date.
