For me on Xbox right now, Killer Instinct and Forza 5 look solid. On the PS4 side, Killzone looks great and Knack seems to remind me of Crash Bandicoot + with PSN+ I get DriveClub.
And with a Vita, I get so much added value that even if I were to prefer Xbox One's games. I'd rather go for the remoteplay bonus on all of my games. With Titanfall coming for PC as well and InFamous coming for PS4. It makes the decision easier.
Games like Braid, Limbo, Hotline Miami, Journey, Flower and Guacamelee are all games that do not have a big budget or feature super realistic visuals yet have all been very well received.
@singhellotaku No, not always. There's Dota 2, PlanetSide 2, League of Legends and Tribes Ascend as great examples of great F2P games that aren't hard on the free customer and still play competitively.
The visuals look really really impressive, even off-screen. As far as gameplay goes, this doesn't look to change much but that's not really a bad thing in Killzone's case.
Demon's Souls scared me more than Dead Space. Why?
The hard challenge and strong enemies that kill you in 2-3 or even 1 hit and then you have to play the whole level again and all the items you used and the souls you collected are lost.
On my first playthrough, I was scared at every turn expecting a hiding enemy who might kill me in one hit and especially in World 3. Man I hated those gargoyles assaulting me at the tower, either they kill you, or you fall off the tower trying to fend them off.
Also, Amnesia and Outlast. To a lesser extent, early parts of Bioshock 1 since I started on the hardest difficulty.
