@TeknoBug @hoyholyhoy @spikepigeo which is why I was laughing about it. The latest Ghost Recon entry was a f2p piece of crap. It's a shell of it's glorious former self. They would have to do something serious to revive that one, but they are focusing on R6 it seems.
So other than Assassin's Creed, what does Ubisoft have, now?
Far Cry - doing ok, but nothing special
Rayman - on track, but not a large enough demographic to save them
Splinter Cell - great games, but nowhere near enough market appeal anymore
Rainbow Six - intriguing new entry
The Division - possibly, Ubisoft's last great hope
Ghost Recon - don't make me laugh
HAWX - ok, now I'm actually laughing
Watch Dogs - now I'm crying
Brothers in Arms - Que?
Prince of Persia - where have you gone?
The Crew - ....
Just Dance - Broad appeal and doing great, but let's be honest, not the kind of game we're talking about here.
So once AC becomes so utterly bland and saturated (oh, wait, I thought we were their a while ago) then all Ubi can do to save themselves is rely on a dancing game, a Prince of Persia re-reboot and 2 Tom Clancy franchises, if they don't royally screw those up too.
Their best game this year was South Park: The Stick of Truth, which didn't even start under them. And good luck convincing Matt Stone and Trey Parker to wh0re out for yearly releases on that.
