It got a 36/40 from Famistu if I remember correctly. Expected a solid 7.5-8.0 here, I love the art style but doesn't look like it tries anything new or pushes any boundries to help the dying JRPG genre on consoles. I am very excited about this game though, one of the few PS3 games I am looking forward to.

The founders aren't even making games anymore if I remember correctly. MS zapped all the fun out of them.

The price point will determine how the Wii-U does. Gamers will buy it for the 1st party titles, but I don't see much of a reason to own it beyond that.

this game reminds of what Alan Wake was supposed to be, minus the girl.

No it doesn't, besides the surviving part I don't know what is similar. The main thing that changed from original design to what we have now was sandbox to linear.

While I know that the Unreal Engine probably has more dynamic features, I am hoping somehow this new engine will help Square Enix create a good RPG, I know the engine doesn't have much to do with quality of the game... but I have hopes, that Square Enix will start to get some new ideas brewing.

Also you could have a car be part of the fight to represent Forza!
