It definately sounds like commander Keen. You can pick it up pretty cheap on steam if you fancied playing it again. I have been meaning to download it for a while but have never gotten around to it.

I have just had this discussion with my girlfriend, and she managed to beat my argument to the ground. It was about weather or not in the future games will ever be as critically respected as movies are now. Her argument was that games seem to be largely based in the sci-fi/fantasy genre, and that there would never be anything in games that would rival Citizen Kane or 8 1/2 by fellini.

What does everyone think?

She kept asking if I would compare GTA IV to either of those films, and I compared it more to a scarface or goodfellas.
This then changed into the standard games as art arguement. But back to the initial point, i whole heartedly believe that time will come.!
