FPS's work fine w/ a controller.

That is hands down the funniest **** I have seen on boards anywhere in recent memory. I doubt you try to play too many FPS on the consoles that were formerly on PCs. Jeez it's like night and day between console and PC shooting. And doesn't it get boring playing 8 on 8 all day long? I mean I'd get it if you got tired of too many people, I sure as heck like a 5 v 5 scrim in source. But the consoles simply fail in that:

1) No dedicated server to run the games, the other players host them (Connex ftl?)

2) Controllers. Don't most console games compensate controllers with a slight auto aim? Nothing beats using a precise mouse to nail a kid halfway across the map in BF2.

3) Server sizes. In any FPS they rarely have more than 16, 32 if you're lucky. You don't really need more than 32, but with PCs you have something magical called OPTIONS!

Consoles...Limited and only really worth it for the games like MGS4 and sports. Because Madden, NCAA Football, and MLB don't come to my comp anymore :(

After beating MGS4 and recently completing MGS before that, I decided to revisit the entire series for kicks. So I start playing MGS2 last night for a couple hours to redo the game and reembrace the story. Alls fun and whatnot, but today when I try to boot up MLB 08 The Show, no dice. The disc loading icon appears in the top right, but the game won't load. Same deal for MGS4 and NCAA 2008 (aka the only PS3 games I have and still care about). I thought it was a potential error that occurred while playing MGS2 the previous night, as I saved quick and just shut down but the image of the MGS2 save screen stuck for a bit longer than usual...

Help?

I just got me a slim and I like it a lot :)

(of topic!) Alright, out of all the PSP games out there, which would be the best to get? Any genre. I already have MGSPO and it i9s damn sexy.

Well that's just annoying. I'll put the 8800 GTX in over the weekend (really busy tomorrow) and I'll post again if I have any troubles
