This is very true and a good topic, and I will add and say I think if anything sony is taking chances to try an make blu ray a factor and a must buy where if they were to win the next gen war, then even with those losses they made from the ps3, they would have achieved there goal and would make that money back and also brang something to the table that could be big for future gaming and movies.

Where as for the xbox 360 they wasted alot of money building a lousy hardware which has problems from what we have seen with the large percentage of faulty systems, and id also like to add, that the hardware brings nothing new to the table and for future gaming. I may like to say it does have good graphics on the positive side and a good game lineup but I dont see the xbox 360 lasting more then 5 years.

I am not trying to be biased about one machine but its the truth that sony's ps3 will be a machine that will be around another 9 years compared to the xbox 360 and like I said the ps3 also is a system that will be a wanted system compared to the xbox 360 in a year or so as everyone starts to move forward to the HD era.

theres something a PC can do that a ps3 cant, play crysis on ultra high

I cant believe that when someone is talking about the R&C floppage, cows bring up TP and MP3 as counter ownage... it doesnt make any sense. MP3 and TP were hyped AAA and they got high AA. Rachet and clank got a 7.5...that is a whole other catergory of game. the same category as elebits and bwii. secondary good games. Even though all 3 of them flopped in terms of expectations at system wars... it is clear to see who ended better off.

PS: im sure R&C is a great game and i believe it deserves at least a 8.0. What did ign give it? a 9.4.... that i think was really pushing it... i guess the ign ps3 team is dying for good exclusives.

Lair may have flopped but it still isnt the worse game for any system in next gen. The game with the lowest score is on the xbox 360, believe it or not but yeah, lol.

What you fanboyish people don't realize is that potential and actual outcome is totally different. PS3 has the potential for a much longer game (and I'm sure that will, to some degree, be apparant in the JRPGs), but when developers choose to aim at different goals, how can you expect the game to be 100 hours long? How do you NOT realize that the size of the BR is distributed differently for a game, with the goal not being length? It's common sense, and the only reason for not understanding that would be "I own a 360" or "I like whining".

I love his new sharigan technique. I wonder or if itachi has surpassed that and has an even stronger sharigan technique. Naruto is still the man though with his rasengan technique, but there all kick ass in the end of the day. :)

I mean Gears of War, Bioshock, Mass effect, Cod 4, Alan Wake, and Project Offset show what the 360 is capable of and none of the developers are owned by Microsoft. Only Rare gives me hope that when their gamesare revealed it will push the 360 further then what the third parties have been capable of.

Yeah but the TC is pointing out that those arent first or second party devs, those are third party devs. I think the reason why most third party games look better on the xbox 360 is quite obvious that third party devs have built most there games from the ground up using the xbox 360 hardware and is why they arent looking so good on the ps3 because they havent built an engine taking advantage of the ps3 hardware like Insomniac and Naughty Dog have. U will see alot of ground breaking games in term of graphics and physics for the ps3 when games like uncharted, killzone 2, MGS4, FF13, and other big name titles come out for the ps3. I mean Lair even though a flop has proven graphically it is up there with gears of war and other titles and heavenly sword and Ratchet and Clank has set the benchmark in there genre's of gaming with what they are capable with on the ps3. Uncharted will do the same when it is released in a week or so. PS3 is already showing tons of potential with its graphics and physics in such a short time and already being on the same level as xbox 360 games and maybe even surpassing them. We will see a little bit of that when Uncharted gets released. Killzone 2, Gran Turismo 5, Metal Gear Solid 4 and Final Fantasy 13 will all be breaking ground games aswell for consoles. Things are starting to look good for the PS3.

The platform for the upcoming installments in the Star Ocean series and Kingdom Hearts series have not be finalized. If Microsoft is smart, they'll try everything to grab those titles away from the PS3 with money. And not to mention Lost Odyssey being released soon. The 360 might just start doing well in Japan.r_h_i_e

Yeah but the thing is, those titles are hug in japan, and with the install base of the xbox 360 in japan, u can almost guarantee it will be a ps3 or wii exclusive or they can go multiplatform with those games, its just up to square enix if they are going to be like capcom, then they prolly would use there strategy and not put those games on the xbox 360 since the 360 doesnt sell many games in japan.

And for those who have bought the game, it is definately an AAA and nothing will take that away from the greatness of the game. Anyone who has given the game lower then an 8 is truelly not a gamer, because the reason I say that is because true gamers enjoy all type of games not just one certain type of genre of gaming. So its easy for any other reviewers who dont enjoy these type games to give it a low score like that. But for gamers who enjoy all type of genres and has played the game would clearly tell u this is definately an AAA title, no doubt about it. :)

I totally understand where he is coming from. I mean im only on my second xbox 360 but man it took them almost 4 freakin weeks to fix the damn problem in my system and send it back. That pisses me off because they dont give u any of your credit back for those 4 weeks of xbox live gold. I mean its not much money but im still paying for it and they seem to take there sweet time fixing these problems. I mean the least they can do is just take that broken piece of crap and fix it and just sen me a new one dont u think? Would make customers alot happyer not waiting so damn long for something they spent money on.
