This is not a flame thread - more a thread of concern.

I am a 360 owner, but I'm also a fan of competition. A solid PS3 lineup would push for even better 360 games, and vice versa.

But right now the 360 has no competition, IMO. Atleast not so far as Next-Gen console gaming is concerned.

The future of the PS3 depends on people buying the console and its games; but right now, the PS3 has no games that distinguish it as a quality Next-Gen console.

So basically, Sony is banking on people buying a PS3 to watch Blu-Ray movies and MAYBE a COUPLE games like MGS4 and Gran Turismo MIGHT be good enough to buy a PS3 for it's gaming features...

But who's going to buy a PS3 NOW? Who's going to buy a PS3 just to watch movies on Blu-Ray for another 6-12 months before a decent, exclusive game is released for it?

Price drops only hurt the system if there are no games to sell to make up the difference...

Dude gamespot just seems to dislike ps3 exclusive game and doesnt give them enough credit. I mean I own both assassins creed and uncharted and seriourly uncharted>>assassins. And assassins creed got an AAA from here? Man something must be fishy. I just dont understand wtf do they want from ps3 exclusives in order to get an AAA?

I mean come on they said on the review, "Tough and plentiful enemies can make firefights frustrating"? I mean if your going to dock points saying the game is too tough, is that the devs fault u just suck at games? And seems to me they dock alot points for things like this, anyone remember RAC? They said the same thing but was the other way around saying it was too easy. I mean 8.0 is not a bad score but again another ps3 title which is getting alot more 9's like RAC from other sites and then we come back here jut to see another underscore from here. The reason this bothers me is because I own assassins creed and uncharted for my ps3 and when I see assassins creed get an AAA from here and is being underscored like hell everywhere else, that makes me believe from another ps3 exclusive game that is a better game then assassins creed gets underscored and for lousy reasons. I just will not ever believe ps3 scores from this website again. I mean even lemmings that arent blind would know something is wrong with the review system here. Anyways im off to play uncharted.

Well I do think your right but I still think uncharted looks better, I mean look at these screen shots. Damn the game looks so beautiful.

when Lemmings say 'PS3 is dead' they dont literally mean that its gonna stop selling & die-off. What they mean is that the chances of the PS3 winning the console war are remote to the point that its looking at finishing in last.

If you look at PSP most lemmings or sheep say 'PSP is dead' actually its not dead, it still sells decently, games are released frequently for it- but it has been trounced by the DS so its considered 'dead'

So if thats the definition for, "The PS3 is Dead". And the ps3 ends up having a long cycle of years as the psx and ps2 has and is successfull even if it still ends up third. Then what is the definition for other consoles that really failed mean such as, "The Dreamcast is Dead" or, "The Xbox is Dead"? Since they were really failures?

Only a stupid ass that has his head all the way far up there ass would say that the ps3 is dead. I mean how in the hell would anybody say something like that and dont even wait for the outcome before looking ahead in your crystal ball. I mean first they say ps3 is a flop, look at the poor sales and yet after its first year it sold almost the same ammount as the xbox 360 did in its first year, and the PS3 has done this with a ridiculous price tag it had at launch at $599 and had competition around to compete against while the xbox 360 had none at all in its first year to even go up against. So if anything if the ps3 is a failure then I guess the xbox 360 is a failure if we go by there logic.

Right now the ps3 seriously from my personal point of view and a owner of both an xbox 360 and a ps3. The first half year for the ps3 was a bit of a drag and was suffering from not having many games but resistance was holding it down for me and still is very fun to play, and I was kind of doubting the ps3 early in the first half but once motorstorm, virtua fighter, ninja gaiden sigma and from there on out started coming out. It restored my faith for the ps3 and I can gladly say that I honestly am enjoying my ps3 alot more now days then I have been in the first half of its first year. I currently bought COD4 and Assassins Creed for my PS3 and im looking forward to buying Uncharted Drakes Fortune for it and Mass Effect for my xbox 360. :)

If u really believe that youtube video of beating ff7 in that amount of hours is true, I can believe if the person has used cheat codes or has played the game many times to do so. But as for a beginner to just play the game without ever playing it before, I can promise u it will take more then 50 hours to complete the game, and that isnt even completing it with all the side quest and all.

Same goes for Virtua Fighter for xbox 360 and u lemmings brag about that so whats your point? All I know is these devs do a great job of porting games to the ps3 so I dont see why this is a bad thing for ps3 owners? All systems will be happy if this game is a hit. :)
