despite massive shortages in my area, I finally got a Wii! yay! what should I get for my first game?
Before you rip on my sig, just know pokemon was a fad and we all liked that. Fads aren't necessarily bad.

I'd go with Metroid Prime 3. IMO its the first core game to truly nail Wii controls to the point where they are noticeably better than other consoles. The graphics are also IMO the best on the Wii. It has great gameplay and graphics, and is a great first choice for a Wii game.
I just got a DS last week and I only have one game (FF3). I'm thinking about getting some new ones and I have Sonic Rush / Sonic Rush Adventure in mind. But I'm not really sure if I should invest my money into them because I hear that the Sonic games have sucked after the Genesis ones. Are any of them really worth getting?scarfree
The only ones that suck are the 3D ones after Adventure and Adventure 2, but the Rush series is great. It's more classic, 2D Sonic. I'd recommend the first, and probably the second, but I haven't played that yet. Adventure adds Wi-Fi races, so it probably wins replayablity if you have Wi-Fi.
For 7.99 I'd definitely get it. I bought it for full price and enjoyed it. Its a good game, but not great. The characters are great and the battle system is solid, but the story is weak IMO. I'd get it though.
I have Pokemon Pearl and im going to buy Megaman starforce since i was a battlenetwork fan. I want one more game tho. An rpg. What are some good choices? Yeah and it has to be worth it.

Final Fantasy 3 and Etrian Odyssey are both good choices, but IMO FF3 is slightly better. Luminous Arc is also good if you like strategy.
i hav 2400 wii points and i want 2 use all of them. I don't want any left over i want a lot of bang 4 my buck so which games should i get plz no n64 titlesBeefcake5000
I'd get Punch-Out, SMB2, DKC2 and Military Madness. All great games and if I added correctly you don't have any leftover points.
