The stamina meter really isnt that bad, it really only hinders zoning so people arent able to spam long range to win. And I have seen people play for defensive uppercuts and I have used it and it can really be op

cause if your going for air, even if you hit, there is enough time to recover and block a combo that someone is trying to chain most of the time. Point is defense play is not broken, its op you just have to know how to play it

Cause some people do nothing but block and upper cut even with chip damage and are able to win if they are good at it. There are ways to hit someone while they are blocking, but if you crouch block, the only hits to break them are overhead which can be punished by uppercuts if the person is good enough to see it coming. Chip damage is good, defensive play gets abused as it stands now

you can still use breakers to get out of combos if you are worried about stamina which I have never had an issue with and chip damage is good because it at least punishes people a little for relying on blocking on the whole game. Some people will literally just block and upper cut the whole game, normal chip damage at least encourages people to actually play their character.

The gameplay is pretty good, I have no problem with the stamina gage and really dont even think about it during matches. Breakers are a cool way to get out of a combo and adds some strategy. And the chip damage is not broken at all, a lot of fighting games have chip damage and having good blocking skills can leave enemies vulnerable to counter attacks. Defensive play is not broken in the least. My only concern with the gameplay is the characters seem to recover too fast on some moves, the uppercut be op, and some combos feel stale.

Maybe I would? At the beginning of the series nobody knew any of the characters, but now players would be upset if scorpion or sub-zero were not in the game. New characters have to be made first before they can become popular. Who knows maybe erron black and cassie cage will be mainstays now, maybe not. I feel that they offered a good mix of old and new characters and just because a character I use didnt make the cut doesnt mean i'm going to be pissy and hate on all the new characters who "took my favorite characters spot". Try some of the new characters maybe you will enjoy them, other people seem to be.
