im tired of microsoft's bs. ive had a total of 3 xbox's, the first one died due to RROD, second one died to the open tray error, third one just died yesterday to the open tray error. has microsoft released any word on how i can fix it?? or do they just want me to go spend another 200$ on another xbox so it will break. does anybody know how to fix the open tray? ive tried the tapping method over and over again and it still doesn't work, and im not going to open the console because i still have a best buy warranty to get another refurbished one. i really want to get a ps3 but i have so many games for the xbox and i dont have the money :/

well about a year ago around december i bought a Nvidia 9600 GT, installed it, and for about a year it worked perfectly but one day, a month ago, at random my screen started turning blue with red and green rectangles, then the whole screen froze and the sound looped. i researched what was happening and some people said my video card was "artifacting" well over the weeks it got worse now i cant even watch a youtube video, or even play sim city 3000 (best game ever). randomly my screen will turn all black and and the top will flicker with whatever color the screen was, then after about a minute, my screen will turn blue with artifacts all over it, and it will say nv4_disp infinite loop. beginning physical memory dump. physical memory dump complete.

sometimes it will also go to the blue screen and say hardware failure. contact hardware supporter. can anybody help????

(sorry im kind of naive with computers)

Right click on computer and click on properties. Find device manager on the top left VISTA/7. Find and click on display adapter and double click on your graphics card. Click on driver then click on update drivergmaster456

I have absolutely no clue how this happened. whenever I get on anyone of my games, it loads to the menu, but whenever i get in an actual game, my screen has a bunch of blue rectangular shapes scattered everywhere then the whole game freezes and the only way to shut it down is the power button. before this started (just to give you an example) I downloaded some mod for empire total war, and i downloaded frostwire. can frostwire give your computer some kind of virus that does this?

before i didthese 2 things, all my games worked great. PLS HELP!!!!!!! thanks :D
