The only way I can see a companion app working is if, for instance, a game like Metal Gear where you can control the Mk 2 with your smartphone. Give me the option of playing with other people on my smartphone from a 4G connection, and I'll be all over that.

Good to know. I'll still use the 360 controller until the Xbone controller works, then I'll switch over to that.

I'm sure I'll get flamed to hell for this, but I really don't care at this point. Half-Life 2 was a great game, but I've lost all interest the past 10 years. I'd rather see Doom 4.
