@Microsteve Do they cover their face in public? No. Online games should be considered a public place. And, last time I checked, they are not democracies.
I think the camera (not kinect, just a camera) idea could work. I seem to remember in some FPS games where, during the campaign, a character portrait is shown when they are talking, to show who it is exactly that is talking. Perhaps something similar could work in online games. It could be set up in the TOU that the camera is mandatory, and that people can kick, or even ban, people who cover the camera.
@SipahSalar @starduke NO game is free. All games are made to make money, even so called "free-to-play" games. The only question is, did they go for the "look at all the pretty things I can buy for my character" model, or did they go for the "pay to win" model, or both.
@Henume @starduke @Diegoctba Speaking of trolls, I remember a time me and my party had encounter with a troll in a cave. We fed limburger and onion sandwiches to him to keep him happy, but that gave him horrible gas, not to mention the smell of the sandwiches and his breath. So, we learned that day, don't feed the trolls!
@ExtremePhobia Here's the age old question, you're in a cave with a similar party, half-ling, dwarf, and a mage, when you encounter an angry dragon, which starts to chase you. What do you do?
