I've actually had this same conversation with the Gamestop manager here in town. I was like what is the point of reserving a game when in the town we live in we have so many stores that sell games. I made my poiunts and he agreed with me. HaHa
I never reserve games. I also generally buy used games to save a few bucks.
Microsoft announced that the accessories would be on shelves before the Elite. It was even announced on the Major Nelson podcast. It's not like stores are selling it earlier than they are supposed to. This was the game plan all along.
I still don't know if I'm just gonna buy the hard drive or buy the Elite. Having two 360's would be nice.
I really don't think it's a ripoff. It's really cheap imo. If paying just over 4 dollars a month is a ripoff or too much for people to pay you probably shouldn't even own a 360. You people must really freak out about paying 60 bucks for a game. LOL
They have the new hard drives for sale too for just over 172 bucks. I also saw the new black controllers, and controllers with the rechargable battery packs for under 65 bucks.
Every single time that I play Oblivion. I get one clean disc error after about 10 minutes. Then I open the tray and shut it and play again and it doesn't get a clean disc error again. This happens every time. It ony does it with this game. Thankfully it only only happens once and not continually.
