Depends if you like Smash Bros. or not.

IMO, I'd rather own just Smash Bros. than all of those other fighting games.. but I'm probably in the majority with that opinion. No other fighting game has given me so many hours of good times with my friends, and the best part is it never gets old. But still many people seem to like more traditional fighters better.

Fanboys with their "Deal with it"

Honestly, STOP putting up with this crap people. Nintendo's online is piss poor right now, I played better online back the 90's and it's been about 8 years since then. Sheesh, if you ever want them to change there ways, sitting back and saying, "deal with it people.. at least it's free!" is not going to help.

Once they implement Pay to play or whatever it better be damn good online.

If you've been playing Melee a lot, then the GC controller is going to be your best bet. Everything else feels weird and takes a lot of getting used to.

No voice chat doesn't mean you're playing with bots; a bot will never be as good as a human player, who uses tactics and strategies that can radically change on the fly. No voice chat just means that: no voice chat! Which to me isn't a horrible thing. Most games I play that have a voice chat ability usually features chats that I don't care about or rather not hear. That's why while I have a feeling a headset will eventually come out for the Wii, it won't really matter to me.

At least it won't matter until Nintendo makes a first party, must-have game that has voice chat as an integral feature; that's how I think Nintendo will introduce a headset if they ever make one.

I don't care how good a human is, if you aren't communicating with them, it still feels like you're playing bots.
And what if you are playing with your actual friends.. would you rather have to call everyone in your group so you can talk about what is happening, or just have the feature on the Wii?

[QUOTE="starwarsgeek112"]One just has to ask, why the hell wont they give us voice chat?raahsnavj
Why do you want it? Really, so many people demand it. But why? Do you plan on teaching someone how to play over the headset? Planning advanced strategies to Brawl... Trust me, 99% of voice chatting in the games would be annoying taunts that don't add anything to the game. And second, it is much more effectiive to teach someone how to play by schooling the heck out of them than trying to 'tell them'. Voice Chat fails.

Because if I can't talk to the people I'm playing with, I might as well play bots.
Half the enjoyement from playing online is talking and making some friends that you can play with online.
Heck I'd even be fine with just being able to type out messages.
Oh and what if I'm playing with my actual friends online.. I'd like to be able to talk to them without having to call all of them

If I were the type of person that put posters all of my room, I would definitely want a poster of it.

This isn't a rant, it just doesn't seem like a lot of great games are going to come out after Brawl, so I'm just wondering what games most people are particularly interested in
