As much as I would love to have a taste of the gameplay.. I want it all to be fresh and new when I finally sit down and play the game.

So, no demo.

System Shock 2 was a massive commercial flop and came out over 8 years ago.

I think most on this board who claim to have played System Shock 2 are probably full of it.

Yep, that's why it's so upsetting that a game comming out in 2007 can pretty much copy a game made 8 years ago, and then be praised for it.

If you aren't a fan of hack n slash games No More Heroes probably wont appeal to you. It's also a Suda 51 game.. so I'm willing to bet that the game will be better than the sum of its parts. In the same way that Killer 7 was.

What a well thought out post on why Bioshock does not deserve praise. I think you just convinced everyone with such a strong debate.

Oh you'd understand if you've played System Shock 2.

I think the way No More Heroes looks makes it so interesting when compared to all other titles out there.

The game looks awful by today's standards. It's early 90's graphics that have been polished. It's going for a definitive look that you wont see anywhere else.

That was the first thing that drew my attention.

Have you watched any videos of the game? The graphics are by no means great by today's standards, but saying they look like early 90's graphics is just stupid. At the very worst they look like a good PS2 game.

No, it's the look they're going for.

The characters look like you went and took the Virtua Fighter bodies from one of the games in the early 90's and added some polish.

Katamari was awful looking but that's the look they were going for. Same thing with No More Heroes, people are made out of blocks just like they were in 1991.

I think you need to go watch some more gameplay videos..

SMG, it's the first game in a LONG time that is so much fun I just had to play it again after I beat it.

I'll probably only use the With Everybody option when none of my friends are online and I'll use it to refine my skills, since real people are better than computers. As for voice chat.. it's a fighting game! All we really need is the little messages to rub it in their faces.

The Wii is turning into a terrible system. Everyone thinks that the wii is fun and amazing because of its conrtols, but really once you own one for more than a month it wears pretty thin. Also the game line-up is terrible!!! Almost all the FPS suck, and most games are unresponsive and boring, lets not even talk about nba live....(whole other subject). One puts anytime into making wii games...its always a knock off or a spin off from the DS or psp or even the PS2.....how sad is that....i would like to get my 50 bucks worth out of a game that i actaully want to play.

I dont know about anyone else but i like have more than one or two good or okay games for a system.SMG its even that great. I mean what good games does the wii have? Metroid? MOHH2? Manhhunt 2? Paper Mario?...and even most of those aren't any good......I have started to dislike my wii and was hoping for better line-ups...so i'm on selling my wii fora PS3....say what you want, i like feedback

I'd say Mario and Zelda are about equal.

Zelda lasted me about 50 hours, but after you beat it 100% there isn't much replay value. I'll probably play it about once every year though.

Mario lasted me around the same if not more. The game is just so addicting and fun.

I'd definitely pick up Mario first, don't get me wrong I LOVE Zelda, but you really need to experience Mario Galaxy as soon as possible.

I haven't played the Wii version, but if you haven't played RE4 yet, you need to. So you might as well get that too.
