@jd7904 @steve4123456789 I had Burning rangers the framerate felt abit messed up in it. I believe if they had more time it could of easily had a solid framerate in it. Not the fact that the saturn was a weak console for what it was trying to do. Just limited time, and very difficult hardware. The japanese have some very impressive 3d saturn games.
@jd7904 @Helios_Sun The story isn't as simple as that the 32X was suppose to accompany the Sega saturn as a cheaper alternative, and have downgraded ports like a cross platform kinda thing going for it. Don't ride the ban wagon bro.
As for the 3D it's a total myth the fact is the Saturn games were rushed to market, and unpolished there are many examples of this like DOOM, and duke nukem 3d. If you want to see the saturn handle 3d much better than the playstation there are many examples like for example Exhumed, and the late sega saturn tittle Panzer Dragoon saga which was suppose to be one of the only saturn games to even begin to touch into the saturn it also used all its proccessors
@poptart28 @snxx @jd7904 If you get the chance try out these hidden gems for sms. Wonderboy 1-3, Master of darkness, sonic (8bit), Phantasy star, Chuck rock 2, Taz mania, Bomber raid, Powerstrike 1,2, Quartet, Asterix, Alex kidd, Lion king, Smurfs, Alex kidd. Say those probably the best on the system lol.
For lasting appeal I think the SMS is actually better than the NES playing both without any fandom.
@poptart28 @snxx @jd7904 Tragic story for sega. I can't blame you for hating sms in North america it was much better in europe. The NES monopolised way to much.
