hahaha the dog island....I remember when I first heard of that game....when the developers first announced it all they said was the game would be about an island full of dogs....that was so funny.....

Hello. Today I just got a Wii for my birthday next week from my parents.

I really want to get the internet on my Wii, BUT the only problem is that I have dial up internet. Is there anyway I can hook it up with my dial up and be able to go online with ease? There are things I want to download and I would like to get the internet channel and so on.

My dad is VERY stubborn when it comes to getting cable, GOOD telephones, and GOOD internet (The rest of my family and I REALLY want Comcast bad.) so I really am disabled with certain things on the internet.

MY WII IS CONNECTED USING DIAL UP......

I'm pretty sure my wii uses dial up given I actually have to dial to connect to the internet but it might be faster than yours....mine downloads at a rate of 12 kilobytes a second and works fine with my wii (aside from the obvious slowness).....

I'm using nintendo's wifi usb thingy to connect from computer to wii.....

anyway I'm just saying I CAN use all the net functions of the wii using dial up without any problems....

as difficult as that message was to read I think I understood it....

that's just insane for ebgames to do that.....I mean who would even buy that when u can get the same game free with a controller....

I need to decide which to buy soon , help me choose , WHICH GAME IS BETTER??????

I've played paper mario TTYD but not metroid 2 but from what I hear metroid 2 isn't really that super great where as paper mario is....

get paper mario for sure..... 

this is probably no help to you but when my wii has trouble/won't connect to the wii shop I find that resetting my computer (cause I have the usb thingy) seems to fix it all.....

or even having my wii on before I power up my computer is the same deal....don't know why this helps but it does.....

I'm trying deciding between two kickass games that I really want. Their both extremely awesome and I really want both but I can only have one of these games.
