@TheExxorcist FH2 is the one of the most social games I've ever played. Forza5 is really awesome as well. It's really good to have both.

First and foremost the game is an absolute blast. I've been playing online and offline and I'm absolutely hooked.

Here are my quick pros and cons list.

+ Car list and customization is extensive

+ The setting is large, stunning and quite varied.

+ One of the most social games I've ever played.

+ Festival and radio music is great and varied.

- Shadow pop in and glitches (environmental) sometimes distract from an otherwise beautiful game.

- Load screens can be long

- Ran into some invisible walls now and then. Mostly jumping off ledges with barriers below.

Personally I love watching video's of this game. It's gorgeous and regardless of how it plays it's going to make other games in the genre strive to look as good. This will benefit future GT and Forza games.

Project Cars also looks great.

@prats93 How exactly is a free roam racer irrelevant with the release of a track racer that's somewhere in the middle of arcade and sim? Is it possible to enjoy both?

Regardless of console preference this is good news. If both are doing well - we win. Personally I have both on my shelf and I'm 100% glad that I do. Just like last gen and the gen before that.
