I'm looking at a used 2g itouch on amazon for $130 and thinking about getting it. but apple's refurbished 3g itouch are $150. but they're out of stock. should I just get the 2g from amazon? and please no comments like "just get the 4g." I can't afford it, that's why you're reading this.

she said her MAC said "you do not have the newest software to operate, update?" and it was like $200. I just didn't know if I would have the same problem

my friend said something about MAC computers andtiger, snow leopards? idk, but she said if your mac isn't up to date, your ipod won't work. she wasnt' sure if this was the same with windows. I have windows vista, will a 4g itouch work properly?
