I had lots of fun with Wildlands, both single player and co-op. This game on the other hand, was not fun at all. So many bugs, tacked on The Division style rpg elements and horrible performance. I think I'll skip this one.
@Barighm: People should not be forced to play the game in performance mode just to get semi-smooth fps. And I'm also talking about pc performance. People with i9-9900k and rtx 2080ti's are reporting a low average fps and massive drops. Gearbox has had 7 years to figure this out, and we can all agree that as a huge AAA game this is unacceptable. Please people, do not pay to be beta testers. These huge gaming companies should not be getting away with shady practices like this.
I would not really call crippling drm, massive performance issues and a 5,2 metacritic user score a massive success. A success for Randy's wallett, shure, but for us consumers...not that much.
Unpopular opinion here: I don't really get the massive hype for this game, or any Kojima product to be honest. Nothing that has been shown of this game really gets me very excited. I'm hoping that the game will surprise me and actually be really great on release, but right now I'm kind of worried.
@sparent180: It has that same special Remedy charm that Max Payne and Alan Wake has. The story is a little strange and can feel a bit hard to grasp, and to fully understand what is going on you will need to do a little bit of reading. The gameplay is really solid and the action can get really hectic.
Having a real hard time believing this game is a 9 out of 10. It's basically The Division 1 with a different map and with some extra bells and whistles, and that game was a 6 out of 10 at most. These modern copy and paste games are soooo damn soulless and uncreative.
