I think it's gonna happen.It will be one of MSs big announcements.Kojima won't be doing it,I reckon MS will have paid Konami to sirt it out.It will look as good but key areas will suffer eg physics,framerate,camo system and it will be the inferior version and may actually work against 360 by serving to prove the PS3s superior power when coded for properly and as lead platform.nothing can stop it sounding bad for Sony and press/360 fans will paint it as such no matter what.Gamespot et al will gloss over failings of 360 version and amke it sound comparable.
Like I said,maybe it's just that the myriad of devs working on PS3 will have games ready that should have arrived in months between november2006 and now but delays of early software are common especially with PS3 complexity.Also look back at the first18 months of 360 software and consider,if both machines were released together how many of the 360s games would have been exclusive?Kameo,Viva Pinyata,Gears and Crackdown,PGR3,Perfect Dark and Forza 2 are about the only big titles exclusive in 18 months.I feel the PS3 will fare better.Motorstorm,Resistance,Lair,Heavenly Sword,SOCOM,Warhawk,Uncharted,Rachet and Clank,Folklore,Hotshots golfand other unannounced ones due in first 12 months alone
I have had 360/PS3 since their launches and from hardware/GUI terms the PS3 is the best console I've ever used.First console that feels like a high end piece of AV kit and not like a bunch of yoghurt pots with a lego designed front end.Elegant.IF the games start to match the reat of the user experience it will become huge(allowing for some ignorant non PS3 users and half arsed media to sort themselves out).If 360 and PS3 do the same thing,I use PS3 every singled time.It's miles better than the PS2 and I hear people saying Sony messed up and I loved my PS2.The PS2 had 2 good games(SSX,Timesplitters) at launch(EU) and GT3 six months later but in the next 6/7 years we grew to love it for games,the PS3 has a better selection in relation to lifespan,better front end/GUI,is the most powerful and is truly a one box solution for much TV based media requirements.
No,he's not.He's just being negative.Why would the games be poor compared to other games?Did you notice that no games have been coming out despite lots and lots of devs making PS3 games?maybe,just maybe this is called fruition.developments(that may have taken longer than expected due to complexity of PS3)being completed.Gamers day showed the quality that top devs are producing eg Heavenly Sword,Uncharted,Rachet and Clank,Lair with Sony already saying that unannounced games will be shown at E3(Sucker Punch,Zipper and Sony devs have yet to show anything).It's worth remembering,despite what some people say,that the PS3 is the most powerful console.
They said the only reason lost planet and dead rising were not on PS3 was the timing.Expect the sequels to hit PS3,just like every other 3rd party 360 "exclusive" eg saints row2,condemned2,graw2,fifa 08,pes7,rainbow6,smackdownetc etc.
