They're using the extra money to pay the contract to use Sony movies. Sony raised their prices on Netflix, therefore they raise their prices on us.

But how does that make it low brow? They don't make fart or dick jokes. It's humour is of the same quality as a show like Community.

I guess your right about the kind of jokes, but the writing is extremely derivative, sinple,and done to death just with different content. Sheldon is really the only saving grace of that series. Community, on the other hand,is very witty and original with a very strong and 3 dimensional cast of characters.

I'm not going to defend The Big Ban Theory on that count, as I just don't like the show that much, but Community really isn't that much better.
