I've been a long time fan of Bioware, but since their involvement with EA, imo, their games' quality has been less than acceptable.

Is there another company that handles ingame relationships in the same fashion as Bioware? If so, are the games good quality? What Company? What games?

Thanks in anticipation.

@RyviusARC:

When I returned to Skyrim, that's what I did and enjoyed it immensely. Added another aspect to the game's replayability.

Not sure about your gaming tastes, but if you want to sink hundreds of hours into games, you should look at Fallout 3, Fallout: New Vegas and Fallout 4, Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion, Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim, and many other RPGs with large worlds to explore. Then there are games like Terraria, Path of Exile (free), Borderlands 1 & 2, Torchlight II, etc., which have a lot of replayability as different character builds.

Concur with @Gallowhand will also add Mass Effect Series, you can take your character from the first of the series all the way to the third of the series. Importing your character also gains you significant starting bonuses, replaying a character to a higher level also gives good starting bonuses.

Easy on first playthrough to become acclimatised, then increase. Now e.g. wouldn't bother playing any of the Mass Effect Series on anything less than Nightmare.

With the DLC for 2 & 3, I wouldn't install the comicbooks that let you fabricate a history as you are creating one anyway. There's a bug in the one for ME2 where it sometimes kicks in even though you've imported your history from ME1.

With Adept type character I had major problems completing on Nightmare level with one in ME2, had no problem with the other classes, Infiltrator was the easiest class to play on Nightmare in ME2 and Engineer in ME3. Stretching my memory, but I think Soldier was the easiest class in ME1.

If you're on a PC platform and prefer using an XBox 360 controller, there are mods for all three games available.

Let's just say be a little slow in claiming zones if you want to complete achievements.
