Did God actually care about the message or science? To prevent confusion and make his word timeless, I would say he should include both. Especially making a mistake and saying your own world is flat. Makes him look less perfect. But that's just me.... But the bible teaches a round earth in multiple books, one calls the world a "sphere", and the other says it "hung over nothing". I don't see the bible teaching a flat earth, some preachers probably taught it centuries ago, but that was there own view.[QUOTE="LJS9502_basic"][QUOTE="tocool340"] The problem I have with that would be if the Bible is indeed the word of God, then shouldn't the Earth be mentioned as such since, you know, he was the one who supposedly created the planet into its sphere shape?...tocool340

It's not a new stance, and it won't really bring anything new to the table. As for the call for negotiations, they've been going off and on for years. Though the speech did sound like he was siding with the Palestinians and would just bring more stalling.
The only thing that would make me get revenge is that I know if he got the death penalty I would be on social security and he would still be on death row. If I got revenge I'd pay for it and nothing good would come from it. I'd just report it.
I think Job had something about an animal with a huge tail like a tree or something like that. But dinosaurs wouldn't be relevant just like mentioning other galaxies wouldn't be.
Read an article from washinton post that says enhanced interrogations(aka torture) led to the chase years ago. Interesting..
Oh and my fellow Americans, enjoy this moment, but don't forget that this has just fueled laden's followers and he has just become a martyr, prepare for the worst

Obama has been blamed for every F*** up that Bush made in his eight years of presidency. Failing economy, 2 wars, etc
And now those same people, want to take away his involvement in Osama's death and give it Bush?
Double standards much?

People have blamed Bush for all of today's problems, yet this one acheivement is not credited to him?
Double standards much?
I think we have better things to think about, like justice done to a mass murderer, sounds better
Because it's not his achievement. He's been out of office for 2 years and 4 months and was not the one who authorized the operation.
There's no reason Bush should get any credit for this.
Bush started the pursuit, Obama finished the pursuit
