I agree. Humanity does suck.

I believe it comes down to two specific things that have exploded into a hundred problems with the mindset society currently has.

The first is parenting or the lack there of. So many people have kids when they have no intention or know how on being a proper parent. They don't pay attention to their kids. They couldn't care less what they do. Some abuse the hell out of kids and that pisses me off to no end. This has also led to many growing up to not respect their parents or anyone else. It's a primary reason as to why so many don't take responsibility for their actions either.

The second is the political correct, can't say anything offensive or I'll piss someone off mentality that has gripped society. To a point this is helpful such as not holding someone's race, gender or religion as a tool to hurt them in some fashion; which includes the harassment the woman in the OP was receiving. The problem is that it's now gone to an extreme where we now have whiney bullies saying something offends them just to assert some power that society has willingly provided. It's this mind set that has made America weak and why we have mass shootings almost daily (an outcry from mentally unstable, fed up citizens). I would say that the abuse this woman was getting is insecure, immature males lashing out through the anonymity the internet provides.
