Fun side games like Chocobo Racing, Arena Fighting and even Triple Triad would be welcome too.

Breath of Fire IV (ps1)

The Legend of Dragoon (ps1)

Chrono Cross (ps1)

Vagrant Story (ps1)

Valkyrie Profile (ps1)

*Saga Frontier 2 and Legend of Mana (ps1) *These I bought but didn't like

Fear Effect (ps1)

Front Mission 3 (ps1)

Alundra 2 (ps1)

Zelda: Majora's Mask (N64)

Skies of Arcadia (Dreamcast)

Shenmue (Dreamcast)

Grandia 2 (Dreamcast)

Diablo 2 (PC)

Icewind Dale (PC)

Yeah I know what you mean, but for me I've gotta keep purchases to a minimum. (bills keep going up, but pay stays the same)

That means i'm limiting myself to one game this year and thats skyrim. Batman looks so awesome though

Its gonna take more than a FFVII remake to get me to buy another square game. FFXIII was pretty bad, but it was that pile of **** FFXIV that did it for me. I'm done with them.

What are the older BC models like? I've heard reports of people getting the YLOD on the older consoles while the slim doesn't have as many hardware faults.

FWIW My launch day, Phat (60gb) PS3 is still going strong and has only had one problem. A few months after I first got it I was having a final fantasy XII marathon and it overheated. It was my fault though because I had it laying flat on a shelf below the tv, with hardly any breathing room. After that I stood my PS3 tall on a stand with open air around it and never had a problem since. The newer model slims should be even more reliable, as they use much less power to run. So if BC is not something you care about, then I'd recommend finding a used slim model. The links below give pretty good comparisons. http://www.tomsguide.com/us/PS3-Slim-Slower-Faster-phat,news-4539.html http://www.tomsguide.com/us/ps3-slim-power-efficient-advertised,news-4544.html
