Never buy from the web site. Most of their stock is games that were sent back to the warehouse to be resurfaced due to being returned at stores as defective.

As for them being complete, it's a 50/50 chance they'll be complete.

Before they merged the Gamestop & EB sites to the same inventory, EB used to guarantee that PS2, GC, Xbox & 360 games came complete. Now you're lucky if it comes in a case.

I was wondering for those of you who traded in your Gamecubes to Gamestop, what did they give you for it? Like 15, 20 bucks? I noticed they're selling them for 40 bucks, while PS2 and Xboxs are being sold for 80. Gamestop sure does know how to rip people off. They'll buya used Wii from you (store credit) for 160 and sell it back for like 225 or something. carljohnson3456

Here's what they're giving in store credit for last gen systems at the moment:

Ps2- $30(slim)/$20(fat)

GC- $10

Xbox- $20

Yeah, not the best offer. But what do you expect when they're overstocked with them and have trouble selling them.

if you own 50 xbox games, clearly however much a 360 is now wont be a problem for you. unless youv already sold everything u own to aquire those 50 gamesBlindEffekt

Not the point. The point is if he's got games that are not BC, it's worth buying a replacement Xbox.

Sidenote- yeah, I own quite a few games that are not BC. But did I buy all of those at once? No, I spent over 3 years acquiring those. I don't want to throw the money I spent down the drain because MS can't get all of them to play on the 360. Still, even for the Arcade version, the 360 is too expensive for me. I waited until the Xbox dropped to $200 to buy it. Since then, I've grown up and now have to deal with a lot more than games, like making sure I pay rent & keep the electric on.

go 360. worth every penny to make the jumpBlindEffekt

Not if you own 50 Xbox games that are not BC on the 360. For us that have those problems, we're stuck playing the original Xbox because Microsoft can't get the emulation software right.

Try a different A/V cable. If that doesn't work, then the video has gone out for the A/V port.

PLus everything is like $10 for used games.Minishdriveby

Not everything, SSBM & Mario Kart DD still go for $20 on average. Plus the hard to find ones are not $10(Cubivore, Resident Evil 2 & 3)

edit: No, I think it was focus your firepower on the turn it strikes to knock it off balance (or was it one turn before?)Articuno76

No, that's the forest giant. This is the desert one. IIRC, heal after it attacks, guard when it attacks and basically save up the points for the harpoon. It's a no-win battle. About 5 minutes into the battle, you'll retreat and go to a cut-scene.
