[QUOTE="LouieV13"]Does the 8600GT have ONE HUNDRED AND TWENTIE EIGHT megs????Indestructible2

No, 256 MB why?

Get the HD 3870

How much will that (approx) cost?

A bit cheaper than the 8800GT.

Oh I see, how is the performance compared?

[QUOTE="Thinker_145"]Ofcourse the 8800GT is miles ahead of the 8600GT.Get the 8800GT and it will last you a good amount of time.Thinker_145

But do you think the 8800 is worth the 50 bucks more?

The 8800GT is actually $150 more than the 8600GT so i dont know where you are coming from.

8800GT is VERY MUCH worth the extra $150 let alone $50.The 8800GT is currently the best priceperformance high end card in the market. It is probably 3x as powerful as an 8600 GT.

So basically it's TOTALLY worth the extra price. And i forgot to mention that the 8600GT is actually a below average card so i would not recommend you that anyways.

Woops, sorry, meant $150 CAD.

I've come to a conclusion. :P

I'm either going to buy the OCZ GameXStream 600W or the Corsair HX 520W.

They are both priced at $109.99 CAD.

Which one do you guys think I should get?:? :?

If you do decide to get the GameXStream 700w, I just got the new email from newegg that has a promo code for another 10 bucks off.

Here's the code: EMC1116CASE13

While you don't need the extra power, if you think it could come in handy in the future I'd go for it. Good luck!

Unfortunately, I live in Canada and cannot order from Newegg.
