Hey guys,
I'm planning to build my PC around the winter break time, and I was wondering about what wattage/type/brand of power supply I should get. This is the first time I'm going to be building my own PC as all my other PCs were prebuilt when bought. I want this PC be able to run new games and have it quick for a work PC too.
Here are the specs:
Processor: AMD Athlon 64 X2 6000+ Dual Core 3.0Ghz 1MBx2 Socket AM2
Memory: 2GB (2x1GB) Kingston KVR667D2N5/1G DDR2 667Mhz RAM
Motherboard: Asus M2N-E-SLI SKT.AM2 NF500 SLI 2PCI/2P
DVD Drive:Samsung SH-S203B/BEBN SATA Black 20x Dual Layer Lightscribe DVD-Writer
Hard Drive: Western Digital 250GB SATA II 16MB 7200rpm
Video Card: eVGA E-GeForce 8600GT 256M DDR3 PCI-E
Case: Raidmax Ninja 918 17" Black Tower Case
Yes, I am on a budget, and if anyone can recommend a reliable, yet inexpensive (NOT THE CHEAPEST) power supply that would be great. Also, if there are any changes you think I should make to my future PC, please tell me.
