Here is my cheap Bitmap i whipped up for the next-gen of Nintendo handheld.
The touch screen is the controller, the only buttons are L, R, and the power. It has a 2 GB SD card and has 256 colors. It can play DS Evo, DS, and GBA games. It has video-audio-image capable internet from home screen, and is TXT message capable through celluar service. more to come. how do you like it? Feel free to Photoshop it.

Oh c'mon. It's not that bad of an idea. If the touch screen alowed multi-touch, game developers could program their own "buttons" onto the touchsscreen. The only problem I see is a huge fingerprint problem:

The controller configurations might actually work but it would put too much stress on the touch screen. On the DS, the touch screen isnt always used, but after a while of use, the touch screen starts to fail in certain areas. That Idea could work if this problem was fixed. Think of the iPhone. They put a durable Touch Screen on that. Think of it on a DS.
