Other - Adventure games.

*Edit* Just to clarify that, I mean adventure games, not action-adventure games like God of War.

gamergeekgeek

Yep

cant think of a adventure game without action though

We are not talking about games like Zelda and God of War. Those are action / adventure games. We are talking about a completely different genre of games. Games like Monkey Island, Grim Fandango, The Longest Journey. You probably cannot think of any adventure games wihout action, because you probably have not played any real adventure games.

who else has tested positive for steroids? a-rod hasn't, bonds has, the fact that he has used steroids, willingly or not, (and i dont see why his trainer would give him steroids without telling him) makes him a cheater

MarkSmith

He never tested positive.

allright, but he did take steroids, the fact that they were undectable makes no difference.

If you actually read what he said, he has yet to admit to anything. He said that he used a clear substance and a cream. He never said that they were steroids. He just said that if they were steroids, he didn't know they were.

"The cream" and "the clear" are confirmed steroids developed by BALCO, and known to be owned and distributed by greg Anderson.

And if you read Barry Bonds' testimony, he never said that he used "the cream" or "the clear." It's more than likely that he is just covering his ass, but Barry has always been pretty careful with his words about the steroid issue. Everybody keeps saying that he admited to taking steroids, but he hasn't.

He basically said that "if" he has taken steroids, he did not know about it.

He did not say that he "has" taken steroids, but didn't know about it at the time.

Why even compare the two? Call of Duty 4 is yet another war game, while Bioshock is a unique experience.

But all of this talk of video save isn't really important. I have all ready shown Meetroid8 what made the original Halo so innovative, the integration of melee and grenades as an important part of combat, but he hasn't listened. His response was the Battlefield series, which debuted 10 months after Halo. He says that they must have been working on it at the same time as Halo, but that doesn't make Halo any less innovative, if it was launched first.

[QUOTE="meetroid8"]differance in oppinion thats all i think it sounds worthlessTyrantDragon55

I understand that, I just want to know why. It seems likea great idea to me, all those user made montages and other videos will be so much easier to make now, you can also watch replays of previous matches to see what kind of mistakes you're making and what you could be doing better. And just think of all the crazy stuff people will record with the new forge mode.

Yeah, you no longer need to have your video camera running to capture that sick kill you just made, and would have lost otherwise.

There are not enough PS3 games or Blu-Ray movies out to justify the price, and by the time there are enough games and movies, the price will have fallen.

[QUOTE="swamprat_basic"]It's innovative in that it made melee and grenades an integral part of every single battle. The shield system was unique too.meetroid8

I can name a game that also did that Metal Arms.

You mean a game that was released 2 years after Halo?

Sorry that was a bad example the Battlfeild series I've killed plenty of people in that game with melee and grenades

You mean a series whose first game launched 1 year after Halo?

It wasn't a year it was a couple months meaning they were both in development at the same time. Are you saying that the battle field series is as original as Halo

10 months might not quite be 1 year, but it is certainly more than a couple months.

So did Battlefield copy Halo or did it do something innovative?

I wouldn't say that it copied Halo, but it can't really be considered innovative if Halo did it first :|
