Not looking forward to Brawl - not even a little bit. Maybe fun with friends, but most of my video game time is solo. I think Galaxy will be fun for about 2 weeks, but I get impatient with the genre. I can't stand super mario on DS (i've tried and tried), and Sunshine was pretty fun, but got bored half way through.

Maybe I gotta 360 or PS3 it to tie me over until Zelda DS. When I had 360, PGR, GRAW and Oblivion kept me plenty busy. If I get one, will have get North American one though, because prices here are ridiculous for games and systems. Unfortunately that would mean I'd have to run a behemoth transformer though (that whole 120 volts vs 230 volts thing). Hope some exciting announcements soon, because I'd definitely rather keep with Nintendo.

Funny about my rhyming title. i'm a regular hiphop hippopotamus (my rhymes are bottomless ).

Zelda was fun. Wii sports is pretty fun with friends. RE4 held my interest until I finished it. I can't bare to replay them now though.

Super Paper Mario isn't out here yet, and neither is Metroid (although not sure that I'd enjoy it anyhow). I was quite looking forward to Dragon Quest, but some recent articles have got me rethinking that. If they kept making games like GC's Paper Mario, thousand year door (I think one of my all time favorites), I'd be set. Wii SPM looks too action oriented for my tastes, but I'll be buying it regardless.

Anybody else having to look to 2008 for a game they think they'll love? Perhaps just me, because if I compare highest rated games on Gamespot to other consoles, looks like Nintendo doing pretty well. (and certainly sales are spectacular)

I'm not at all actually - not sure why. Looking forward to a decent RPG game. Zelda was fun, long since been done.

I don't know, but I'm getting impatient. Wii has been out long enough (and they stilll havent released super paper mario here). I'm quite bored of Wii sports, RE4 and Zelda. Bring on the 9's already Nintendo!

Not entirely related, but I once beat my friend at Wii Tennis while I was in another room. I couldn't see the screen.bob_newman

Brilliant! Can't be good for your friend's ego though. Maybe want to throw the next match ...

Glad I'm not the only that's been affected. I was beginning to think I was jinxed - first the 360, laptop, then satellite tuner. Had the Wii been next, heck, I would have had to take up hiking on the weekends or something. Nice tip about turning down the sensatiivity to help with the problem too.

I noticed that if I closed all the curtains, that the cursor no longer jumped around like crazy on the screen. There wasn't any direct sun coming in but bright enough apparently. Perhaps a feature to get more people outside during nice weather.

This is probably written up in documenation or FAQ, but I don't stop and ask for directions either.

i have, and wonder if I broke something. now at random times, the cursor on the screen will jump/flicker around the screen by an inch or two (from where it should be) as i move it around. 90% of the time its fine. Anybody else experienced this? I thought it was the controller but new controller does the same thing.

I can confirm North American controllers work in New Zealand. I'm guessing you're good to go.
