I have played Team Fortress 2 on my PS3 but the community is almost dead and there are lots of hackers. I am thinking about getting it for my PC. Is the PC version different/better enough for me to buy it?

How is Counter Strike Source? Are they both still active?

Are there are any Steam sales coming to get them cheaper? Could I max out both of them? Here are my specs:

CPU: Intel(R) Core(TM) 2 Duo CPU E7400 @ 2.80 GHz

CPU Speed: 2.80 GHz Performance Rated at 5.04 GHz

RAM: 3.5 GB

OS: Microsoft Windows XP Professional Service Pack 3 (build 2600)

Video Card: GeForce 9500 GT

DirectX version: 9.0c

Sound Card: Realtek High Definition Audio

Is it worth gaming on this PC, or should I stick with PS3, or wait until I have enough money to upgrade?

My native resolution is 1920x1080 and games look weird if I dont play them at this resolution. That makes me turn other settings down. Here are the specs:

Do you think that PC gaming is a generation ahead then console gaming? The graphics from a 2007 game look better then any console game ever and PC games are looking better and better.

Decent games, but definitely not in my top 10

If you want a quick heads up read here ***POSSIBLE SPOILERS***

AC1 sets the standard, great graphics and all, combat suck IMO, it's BASICALLY about:

Desmond, a descendant from a long line of Assassins, SHOCKER:roll: is kidnapped by a group of ppl and forced into a machine known as the Animus upon entering this machine, he is able to relive the life of one of his ancestors known as Altair (basically a master assassin), the game consists of Altair following orders from his master Al Mualim, to assassinate a few figures from the crusades - These figures were actually there at the time of the crusades too! Anyway it contains all generic storyline features IMO, you know; do this, get betrayed BLAH BLAH BLAH spoiler free ftw! Anyway AC1 features better graphics then 2 IMO but comes with repetitive and sometimes frustrating gameplay in the forms of side tasks you are requested to perform on order to unlock assassination meories and it goes from there

AC2 basically picks up where the last game left off, mediocre graphics, sukcish combat and a collectibles (100 to be exact which i hate) IMO

In AC2 you've (Desomd) realised that you've been kidnapped by the Templars (enemy of the assassins) BLAH BLAH time to escape BLAH!

Anyway you meet up with fellow assassins and get put into another memory machine known as wait for it; the animus 2.0 8)

Upon entering the animus 2.0 you go into another ancestors memory instead of Altair, you are know Ezio...it's kind of a better story with less repetitive gameplay but still nothing special IMO

Hope this helps!

IamBEASTMODE

Thanks:) I am going to check out the wiki now.

Are the stories of AC1 and AC2 connected? I just got AC2 and I want to know, if is it important to know what happened in the first one.
