I should let you guys know that an xbox 360 is also on the top of my christmas list too. Btw what do you guys mostly play online (just thought I should ask to find out which games I should probally get).
Unfortunatly the ones that were jpeg originally never work on the rpg maker. To show this the first picture Joe gave me doesn't work while the one below it does. I also realized something today. My dad is a graphical designer and he is ten times better then me at the computer so I can ask him why certain images weren't loading and maybe get some answers.
Okay! Me and Joe spent about 4 hours trying to figure out why the images bdog and him submitted to me didn't work with the rpg maker. Our efforts found no specific answer to our questions but we did figure out a way to lower the frustration.
Anyone who is helping me edit images to the game should now edit sprites by first editing one image of the spirte and then putting it up on this topic. This allows me to do two things:
1. See if the chacter looks good for the game.
2. See if it is compatible with the rpg maker.
This way if it turns out that the images don't work or they don't look good you won't have to redo the whole sprite again. I'm going to do Mark and Bdog's battle chacter from here so you guys don't have to worry about them anymore. Just continue on with the next sprite.
That's fine Joe. I sometimes slack off myself so don't feel bad. Anyway I have to go to a band awards ceremony and have dinner before I come back home and after I get home I will study for my test so I can work on my game without feeling stressed out. Anyway the introduction is 70% done (it isn't the longest introduction ever (xenosaga anyone?) but it's about the length of a normal introduction.
I tried to reload the file as a PNG file by bringing it to paint first and saving it as a PNG file but only black screens appeared in the game. Don't use GIMP anymore it doesn't work with the game.
Unless you want to redo it again by clicking on my link above and saving it on to paint then you can if you want to but if you don't feel like doing it again just let me know and Iwill do the chacter for you.
