Episode 105: Neo's Final Stand

A door slides open. Everyone looks surprised and stares inside.

Dex: To think there was something like this hidden in the stadium.

Axel: Makes me really pissed! How the hell didn't we notice that before?!

Tamika: There's no point acting pissy about it now. It happened, that's all there is to it. We need to try again, simple as that.

Yusuke: Alright guys, let's move!

Aslo is standing as someone is sitting in the shadows.

Aslo: They're getting closer. Should I stop them?

Armen: No. At this point, my plans are so far in the final stage that nothing they can do will change things. Besides, I think it's time we gave our good buddy a chance. I'm sure he would want to.

Aslo: As you wish.

He bows. In a dark room, a pair of glowing eyes light up

Opening

Everyone heads down a staircase. Dex and Alicia look around in wonder while everyone else keeps walking.

Dex: How long do you think this place was under the city?

Alicia: It must have taken years for them to build.

Axel: I don't like this. There's something in the air.

Tamika: Yeah, I felt it too. There's something not right about this place. Can't say what, but there just is something wrong. Something very unsettling about this place.

Yusuke: We don't have time for this. Even if there is something off about this place, we gotta keep moving.

Axel: No need to be such a jerk about it. After all, you're the one who keeps telling us to be careful. Total hypocrite.

Alicia: Knock it off! We're supposed to be on the same side.

Dex: Hey uh…did you guys just feel the ground shake?

Axel: Huh?

Tamika: Now that you mention it….

They start running down the stairs. They stop in shock when they see two large robots moving.

Robot 1: Intruders. Switching to Duel Mode.

Robot 2: Duel Mode.

Yusuke: Oh man! We don't have time to deal with these guys!

He starts to activate his Duel Disk when Alicia and Dex stand in the way.

Yusuke: Guys?

Dex: Like you said. You don't have time to waste.

Alicia: We can handle these guys just fine. What matters is stopping Armen.

Yusuke: Guys….

Dex: Go!

They rush past quickly.

Yusuke: I won't forget this!

He looks back as Alicia and Dex look ready.

Alicia: You ready?

Dex: I wish I had a little more time beforehand. But yes. Let's do this!

A door opens as Yusuke, Axel, and Tamika step inside.

Axel: Damn it's dark. How about a little light?

The lights suddenly turn on as they cover their eyes.

Tamika: Satisfied?

Axel: Eh.

???: Yo! It's been a while.

Yusuke turns and his eyes widen in shock.

Sigma: Hasn't it…Yusuke?

Yusuke: N-Neo?! You're…alive?!

Sigma: That's really getting old. The name's Sigma. S, I, G, M, A.

Tamika: But that's not possible! You were destroyed!

Axel: You blew up! There's no way you could have recovered from that!

Sigma: Well, I'm not exactly thrilled you know. I'm kind of stuck to the door. But you're fools. I'm one of Armen's greatest projects. You think he really would have destroyed me? A backup of myself was created.

Yusuke: Neo! Snap of it! You've got to be in there!

Sigma: Sorry kiddo. The first Neo was only created because….well, let's call it a glitch. He was only a bunch of digital zeroes and ones. Of course, why would you want him back? Hate to tell you this kid, but I'm the only one in this body now. Neo….is gone.

Yusuke: No….I refuse to believe that!

Sigma: Whether or not you believe it, it's true. Regardless if it is one way or the other, you need to beat me if you want to go by anyway. So, what do you say we skip the formalities and get right to it, what do you say?

Tamika: "Get right to it?"

Sigma: You have noticed right? I'm connected to the door. You can't get by me unless you defeat me. So, who wants to fight?

Axel: Hm. You don't look so tough in that position. This won't be a problem for me. I'll take you down no problem.

Sigma: Yeah….sorry, no. Yusuke, you're the one I want to fight!

Axel: Huh?! Hey, isn't it our choice to…

Sigma: We never got to have a duel in the ROFGP thanks to the stupid kid. How about we finally settle things between me and you? I never like to leave a job unfinished.

Tamika: You don't have to do this Yusuke. We can take care of him.

Yusuke: No. Truth be told….I wanted to handle this guy. So you guys just sit back. I'm going to settle things with you. And I'll get to Neo!

Sigma: You ain't too bright kid. Neo's gone. I thought I told you that.

Yusuke: I refuse to believe that. Neo's heart would not just vanish! I know he's in there somewhere!

Sigma: Heart? Gimme a break. This "heart" was nothing but binary code. There's nothing left of him to be around. But whatever. As long as I can duel, spout all the dribble you want.

A Duel Disk built into his arm activates. Yusuke holds out his arm and his Duel Disk activates.

Both: Duel! [Yusuke LP = 4000] [Sigma LP = 4000]

Sigma: I'll start things off. I set a monster and two cards. Turn end.

Yusuke: Looks like its back to me. Draw. I summon Sharp Edger [ATK 1600/DEF 1000 LV 4]. I attack. Go!

Sigma: Trap card, Waboku. This lets me negate any damage I take this turn and prevent my monsters from being destroyed in battle.

A barrier blocks the attack.

Yusuke: I was hoping to deal Piercing damage. But that proves it! For him to have Waboku, he must be Neo deep down!

Sigma: Oi, what are you staring into space for? We're in the middle of a duel here. Get your head out of the clouds.

Yusuke: Oh, right! I set a card and end my turn.

Sigma: Jeez, not even paying attention in the middle of a duel? No wonder I beat Seth. If the best he could do was tie with you, you both must have been awfully weak. Whatever. Armen says I gotta make this quick. I draw. I flip summon Machine Jester [ATK 0/DEF 0 LV 1]. When he is Flip Summoned, I return to my deck, reshuffle, and draw another card. I set a monster and end my turn.

Yusuke: Pretty lame. And to think you just criticized me. I draw. I summon Wonder Rocket [ATK 1000/DEF 1000 LV 3]. Wonder Rocket attacks your monster!

It fires and destroys the set monster [Machine Jester]

Sigma: How about that? I was unlucky enough to draw it a second time. Too bad for me huh?

Yusuke: Take this! Wonder Rocket attacks you directly.

It turns into a rocket and fires towards Sigma. He grins and holds his arms out. As the rocket gets closer to him, he sees Neo in Sigma's place and immediately tenses up. The attack flies off course and hits a wall as the monster flies back to Yusuke's field.

Axel: What's he doing?! He had nothing on the field to protect himself!

Yusuke: I…end my turn.

Sigma: Hesitating? Let me guess, you're still trying to think of some way to save your cute buddy Neo? Well, I hate repeating myself, but some people are too stupid to listen. Neo does NOT exist anymore! There is only me, Sigma! If you're going to give me a fair duel, then I'll just crush you flat! Here I go! Heh. Perfect. I use Fusion Sage. Now from my deck to my hand, I can add the Spell card Polymerization.

Tamika: A Fusion card? It can't be!

Axel: Damn!

Sigma: Using this monster, I can substitute it for a Fusion Material. I fuse King of the Swamp and Machine Emperor Defendiel Infinity. This allows me to Fusion Summon a monster. Come on out and shine, Divine Machine Emperor Knight- Paladinel!

The two Infinity monsters appear. They fly together and crash, forming a purple sphere with a glowing Infinity symbol. Binary code swirls around it as a lance, shield arm, and head form. Wings sprout and then legs as the monster roars [ATK 1000/DEF 0 LV 8].

Tamika: He summoned it.

Axel: But he only used one Machine Emperor.

Sigma: Yeah. Since I only used one actual Machine Emperor monster in its Fusion, it only has 1000 attack points [ATK 1000/DEF 0 LV 8].

Yusuke: Phew. It only has 1000 attack points. So it is no longer a big deal.

Sigma: Come ON kid! You think I would really leave myself so open to attack? Continuous Trap, Synchro Eradicator Unit.

A piece of armor and a scope wrap around the monster and it roars [ATK 2000/DEF 0 LV 8].

Sigma: The monster equipped with this card must be a Machine Emperor monster. It gains 1000 attack points. And any Synchro monster it absorbs, he gains double the power he usually would.

Yusuke: What?!

Sigma: A lot of people in this age are fools. There are so many other strategies to use. Fusion, Ritual, Release, hell, even Exceed monsters! Yet most people stick with basic Synchro monsters. You know why? Because Synchro is easy! People don't want the trouble of thinking of strategy! Using Synchro is so easy that anyone can do it now. And that's what makes it so easy and so much fun to destroy them! I attack your Wonder Rocket! Go, Infinity Scope!

His hand tenses up. Sigma blinks and shakes it off. It fires a laser and blows up the opposing monster. Yusuke is pushed back [Yusuke LP = 3000]

Yusuke: Trap card, Time Machine! This lets me revive a monster destroyed this turn. Come on back Wonder Rocket [ATK 1000/DEF 1000 LV 3].

Sigma: Hmph. I'll make it up next turn. I summon Wisel Guard 3 [ATK 0/DEF 2000 LV 3].

Guard transforms and attaches to the right arm of Paladinel, transforming it into an even larger shield.

Sigma: I end my turn. Let's see what you can do about this.

Yusuke: Here we go, I draw. It was only for a brief second, but I saw it. Neo….you're still in there, I know it. Don't worry buddy. I'll save you. I tune my level 3 Wonder Rocket and level 4 Sharp Edger.

Rocket becomes 3 rings that Edger flies through, becoming 4 stars [3 + 4 = 7]

Yusuke: Come on! Spiritual Dao Master [ATK 2500/DEF 2000 LV 7]

Sigma: Got ya.

Paladinel points its gun and fires. Master looks surprised as it is hit and blows up. Yusuke screams in pain [Yusuke LP = 2000].

Sigma: Oh. Did I forget to mention? When Synchro Eradicator Unit is on the field, I can destroy a Synchro monster summoned and deal 1000 points of damage.

Yusuke: No way….I can't even summon Synchro monsters?!

Sigma: I'm not gonna make things easy for you. You wanna win? Try and earn your victory!

Yusuke: Damn. There's nothing else I can do. I set a monster and end my turn.

Sigma: Yeah, that's all you can ain't it? I draw! Hmph. Nothing I can really use. Spell card, Dark World Dealings. Now we each draw a card from our decks and then discard a card.

Yusuke: He's letting me draw? Why? Is it only so he can draw?

Sigma: Here we go. I summon Angiel Carrier [ATK 600/DEF 400 LV 1]. Now it can equip onto my Paladinel.

The wings transform and merge with Paladinel's wings, becoming larger wings as it floats and blows a strong wind.

Tamika: That thing just keeps getting stronger!

Axel: Damn. That's what defeated Seth huh?

Yusuke: This is bad. The more parts he has, the more often he can negate destruction. I've got to take out those parts!

Sigma: Any attempt will just result in failure. I attack with Paladinel! Wipe out his monsters! Go!

It charges and stabs the monster, destroying it.

Yusuke: Joke's on you! You destroyed Curse Diver! When he's Flip Summoned as he was just now, he destroys a card on the field. I destroy Paladinel.

Sigma: Fool. By releasing one monster equipped to Paladinel, his own destruction is avoided. I release Angiel Carrier.

The wings cover Paladinel as they blow up instead, leaving the monster unharmed.

Tamika: Damn! It didn't work.

Yusuke: I had a feeling it wasn't going to work. But at least he only has one monster equipped to it now.

Sigma: Too bad! You thought this was going to be easy huh? Well I'm gonna fight you tooth and nail! As much as working for Armen sucks, he lets me do what I want, so all I gotta do is shut up!

He laughs when he tenses.

Sigma: Again?!

He screams in pain and twitches.

Tamika: What's going on?

Axel: Is he having some kind of seizure?

Yusuke watches in shock and his eyes widen when Sigma's eyes turn bright blue and one stays red.

Sigma: Don't….hesitate.

He gasps and holds his head.

Axel: What the…?

Tamika: Why'd he go out and say that?

Sigma: Impossible, there's no way! …Yeah, no worries. Just a small glitch, that's all. Sometimes it seems like I'm put together with glue and wooden sticks.

Yusuke: You can say whatever you want Sigma. But you heard it and I heard it. Neo is still alive inside of you!

Sigma: I told you that's impossible! My mind was created as a backup before he ever existed! How could he possibly still exist?!

Yusuke: I'll tell you, because you can't understand. Neo has a heart! A heart that is more human than you can understand!

Sigma: A heart? Gimme a break….he's a robot! He has no heart! What's it gonna take for you to finally understand that!

Yusuke: Because I know it's true! He won't let himself fade away because he has something to lose. He's strong enough that he won't lose himself.

Sigma: Ugh, this is starting to sound like some kind of terrible chick flick. Fine, live in your deluded little fantasy world. It's obviously just a waste of time trying to convince you. I end my turn.

Yusuke: My turn. Can I ask you something Sigma? What are you fighting for?

Sigma: Huh? Be more specific.

Yusuke: I mean, why are you fighting? What makes you want to fight? What do you think about?

Sigma: Pfft. Ha ha ha ha ha! Sorry, but that's the dumbest question I've ever been asked! News flash kiddo. I'm a MACHINE. Thoughts? Feelings? I'm a robot. I don't have any of those things. It's in my programming to be this way. I'm not like you ya know. And neither is Neo. He was a robot too.

Yusuke: You're wrong! You just accept it! You clearly hate it, but you refuse to do anything. Neo….was brave! He was willing to change, even now! And I refuse to let down his feelings! I draw. Since there are no monsters on my field, Lone Scrap revives [ATK 1000/DEF 1000 LV 4]. Next I summon my Dimension Dumpster [ATK 1600/DEF 200 LV 4]. I tune the level 4 Dimension Dumpster and level 4 Lone Scrap.

Dumpster becomes 4 rings that Scrap flies through, becoming 4 stars [4 + 4 = 8]

Yusuke: Speed reaches the highest level and becomes a power that warps space and time. Appear now, lord of speed, Warp Speed Dragon [ATK 2500/DEF 2000 LV 8].

Axel: Moron! What's he doing!?

Sigma: Wow….you're a special kind of stupid, you know that? Paladinel, turn it into dust!

It points the gun and fires, destroying it [Yusuke LP = 1000]

Sigma: Did you really think that would save you? Synchro monsters are useless against me!

Yusuke: Yeah, I suppose so. So I'll stick to this. Trap card, Rising Fusion! Now I can fuse monsters sent to the graveyard. I fuse two monsters. I fuse Spiritual Dao Master and Warp Speed Dragon!

Sigma: What?!

The two monsters collide in midair. A powerful aura glows. Everyone flinches as the monster begins to appear.

Yusuke: I'll show you what the power of friendship can do. Come on, Soul Dragon Shaman [ATK 3100/DEF 2300 LV 9].

Tamika: That card….he hasn't used that since the battle with Mars!

Prometheus: You use my card huh? Fine. Take it and win!

Sigma: Heh heh. It wouldn't be fun if you didn't give me a challenge. Bring it on! I'll crush you and whatever you summon!

He begins to laugh as Yusuke holds his Duel Disk out.

Episode 104: Project Upsilon Begins. To the Argo!

Everyone is still watching the screen with shock and revulsion.

Seth: I see. That's why he was using the other projects. He was gathering data. Even the ROFGP was nothing but a scheme to get data on the world's most powerful duelists. Leon's, Tier's, Shimmer's, even yours and mine.

Alicia: So this whole thing…all along we were just playing into his hands!

Axel: That bast ard!

He kicks a wall.

Axel: How could we not have seen what he was planning?! How could he get the drop on us like this?!

Dex: What do we do now?

Yusuke: I think it's obvious what we do now. Knowing this, there's only one logical course of action.

Tamika: What are you talking about?

Yusuke: I don't know about you guys, but I've had enough. I'm not going to be Armen's guinea pig any longer. I say it's time we take the fight to him.

Seth: I thought you might say that. You're awfully predictable you know. Alright guys, come on out.

Yusuke: Wait, what?

He turns and gasps.

Opening

Tony: Yo! It's been too long.

Marie: You're looking as lively as ever.

Yusuke: Tony? Marie?! What's going on?!

Tony: That's rude you know. We come in, haven't seen you in ages, and you go, "Duh! What are you guys doing here?"

Marie: I don't like to agree with him, but he has a point. Why else would we be here? We're going to help you stomp Armen.

Yusuke: But…with all the news…

Tony: You expect us to believe what those kiss-ups say?

Marie: We've dueled you ourselves. We know you're not the kind of person who would do something like that.

Tony: So we asked around. Sure enough, we ran into Seth who gave us the heads up. And when we heard what was going on, well, how could we say no?

Yusuke: You guys….but this'll be dangerous! Really dangerous! You could be killed. Like what happened to…Neo…

Marie: All of us wouldn't be here if we didn't understand the risks.

Axel: Whoa, you say all of us like…

Tier: Finally caught on.

Shimmer: I was starting to feel like part of the wall.

They walk out of the shadows. Seth tries to stand and stumbles as Salia catches him.

Seth: Shimmer? Tier?! Why are you here?

Shimmer: To help of course. We were curious as well, so Tony clued us in. Hearing what Armen did….I couldn't sit down.

Tier: What happens in this town means nothing to me. All I know is that this Armen man interrupted our duel. And I will not allow such a thing to pass. We're helping, like it or not.

Tamika: Hmph. Not quite an army, but it's something. I say let's let them help.

Axel: It can't hurt. After all, we're going up against an army.

Yusuke: But…you guys…

Tony: Enough! If you say, "But you guys could get hurt!" one more time, I'm going to sew your mouth shut. We're HELPING. End of story.

Seth: Well, he's blunt if nothing else.

Marie: If nothing else yes. Well?

Yusuke: Ugh….fine! If you really want to help, then be my guest! Just…try and be careful.

Tony: Hey, you don't need to worry. I'm the king of careful!

Alicia: So, where do we go from here?

Seth: According to the data, Armen has a separate bunker somewhere in the city. It's where he keeps his more valuable test subjects and where he hides out.

Dex: But where could it be?

Seth: I might have to dig a little deeper. Hold on, this'll just take a second.

He begins sifting through the data. Everyone mulls as he does when Prometheus looks up.

Prometheus: You know, if you need anything, we'd be glad to help out. The Regal Olympians are ready to rush into battle at any time.

Yusuke: It's kind of you to offer. But…stay out of it.

Prometheus: I don't understand…

Yusuke: It's nothing against you. But this is our city. It's our job to defend it. With our own power. If we always depend on you guys, how can we fight?

Prometheus: …Hmph. Even after everything they just said? Fine, I get it. But! At the first sign of trouble, we're jumping in. No ifs, ands, or buts.

Yusuke: …Okay. It's a deal.

Seth: Got it! ….Oh man, you're not going to believe this…

Tamika: What?

Seth: Armen's secret bunker is known as the Argo, after the ship in Greek mythology. But that's not the worst part. You wanna know where it is?

He points down.

Seth: Below the stadium.

Axel: …Are…you kidding me?! It's been under our noses this whole time!?

Alicia: I guess that'd make sense. Hiding in plain sight.

Axel: That's it! I've had enough! Armen's made a fool out of me for the last time! Next time I see him I'll slap those glasses off his face!

Tamika: So now we know where it is. What next?

Dex: Do we just go out and attack?

Tony: I'm for that plan. Make stuff go boom and the like. Sounds fun to me!

Marie: If we just rush in and attack, we're bound to get stopped within minutes.

Seth: So, we need to form some kind of plan. This whole thing's making my head hurt. I wish I could go with you guys…

Yusuke: Don't worry. You focus on getting better. Leave the rest to us.

Seth: Heh. Will do. But if you get yourselves killed, I'm not going to feel sorry for you. In there, it's your fault what happens.

Tier: So we are just going in without a plan then?

Shimmer: It sounds like it.

Tier: Hm. Amusing.

Yusuke: Listen up everyone! I'm not going to smile and pretend there aren't risks. Armen will most likely kill us if we try to interfere with his plans. But no matter what happens in there, we gotta stand strong! No matter what happens, we need to stop Armen and come out of there alive!

Marie: Of course.

Yusuke: Well….gave you guys a final warning. Let's go.

They walk off. Arnold, Koga, and Salia walk up.

Arnold: Are you really satisfied with this outcome?

Seth: What do you mean? I'll have to settle for it. With this injury, how can I be of any help to them?

Arnold: ….I haven't been your manager for long. Not very long at all now that I think about it.

Seth: Huh?

Arnold: But I've worked for you long enough to know you would never let anything make you sit out from doing the right thing. Absolutely not. A 0% chance actually.

Seth: What are you getting at Arnold?

Arnold: I'm saying to follow what your heart tells you, not what your brain tells you. Working for you has made me think that way.

Seth: I know…

Salia: It's okay Seth. Do what you want to do.

Koga: No matter what you decide to do, we'll be standing by you all the way.

Seth: You guys….well, there is something. Listen up; I'm not going to repeat myself.

Everyone stands looking determined. At the stadium, several guards are stationed. One of them is glancing around as the other snores audibly. The guard growls in anger.

Guard: Snap to attention! We need to be on the lookout for any intruders!

Guard 2: Aw come on, seriously? You're paranoid man. Armen said there was only a small chance someone might come. Take a chill pill.

Guard: No, there's something going on tonight. My horoscope said it.

Guard 2: Dude, you actually pay attention to stuff like that? Ha! Next you'll tell me a fortune cookie said it.

Guard: No, I'm really feeling something this time!

Someone taps him on the shoulder and he turns. Tier stands there and punches him in the face, knocking him out. Tier blows on his knuckles as Guard 2 looks scared when Tony jumps on him from behind and covers his eyes.

Tony: Surprise!

The guard stumbles and crashes into a wall, falling unconscious.

Tony: Clear!

Everyone else sneaks by and looks around. Marie jumps down from a high place.

Marie: I checked both the skylight and the windows. Aside from a few guards, the place seems mostly dead.

Shimmer: I see. If there are just a few, shouldn't we just go in?

Tamika: No, I don't like the way this feels. Call it being too worrisome, but there's definitely something in there.

Dex: What should we do? Turn back?

Axel: We came all this way. Might as well finish it, right?

Alicia: I think we should go in. After all Armen's done, we can't let him go.

Tony: Whatever. Let's just get a move on already!

They head inside and run down the hallway. Guards see them run past and give choice.

Guard: Hey! Surrender yourselves!

Guard 3: You're only making it worse by running!

Marie: No choice.

Tier: It appears not.

They both slide to a stop along with Tony.

Yusuke: You guys!

Tony: We got this! Go on ahead!

Marie: Don't bother arguing either. You don't really have time for this.

Axel: She's right you know.

Yusuke: Gr….fine! Just don't get hurt, okay?!

Tier: Really now. I am the #1 duelist in the entire world. You're starting to hurt my feelings you know.

Shimmer: We'll be fine. Worry about yourself.

Guard: Fine! But you won't pass!

All 6: Duel! [Tony LP = 4000][Tier LP = 4000][Marie LP = 4000][Guard 1 LP = 4000][Guard 2 LP = 4000][Guard 3 LP = 4000]

Guard 1: Bring it! Here we go, draw! I use Magical Mallet. Now I return five cards to my deck and draw. Next I use another and return four cards to my deck and draw again! Heh heh. Perfectly optimized. I send three monsters in my hand to the graveyard [Tyrant Dragon, Armed Dragon LV 10 and Tri- Horned Dragon]. This lets me Special Summon my Montage Dragon to the field [ATK ?/DEF 0 LV 8]. The total level of monsters discard is 26. Times 300 means you don't stand a chance [ATK 7800/DEF 0 LV 10].

Tony: Heh. Here we go, draw! I use Toon Table of Contents. This lets me add a card with Toon in its name to my hand. Next I use Toon World.

A book appears [Tony LP = 3000]. The book then vanishes into a spiral galaxy.

Tony: And by releasing it, I play Toon Universe. Now I use my final Spell, Brain Control. This lets me pay 800 life points [Tony LP = 2200] and take control of Montage Dragon.

The monster is pulled inside the universe and emerges as a Toon.

Guard 1: Uh oh! Uh, time out!

Tony: Sorry, no time-outs allowed! Go, Toon Power Collage!

It fires three streams of energy and wipes out the guard [Guard 1 LP = 0].

Marie: Start. Draw. I use Foolish Burial. Now I send a Plant monster to the graveyard. I set a monster. Now I use the Field Spell, Black Garden.

A garden full of black roses grows.

Marie: Now all monsters summoned lose half their attack points and a Rose Token is summoned to the other player's field. Turn end.

Guard 2: No complaints! Here we go, draw! I use Future Fusion. This lets me send any number of monsters in my deck to my graveyard [Ojama Yellow, Ojama Black, and Ojama Green] to the graveyard. Guard 3: Huh?! No! [Widespread Ruin, Flashbang, Magic Cylinder, Judgment of Anubis, and Magical Arm Shield]

Tier: Now for the Spell card Double Fusion. I pay 500 life points [Tier LP = 3500]. This lets me fuse monsters together. I combine my Guardian of the Labyrinth and my Protector of the Throne in order to Fusion Summon.

Gearfried jumps on top of UFOroid [ATK 4000/DEF 3100 LV 10]. Strike him directly. Soul Blade.

It flies towards him and slashes. The guard falls back.

Guard 3: No wonder he's called….the Fusion King….

He falls unconscious. All three pant as more guards show up.

Tony: Looks like more of them are on the way.

Marie: This'll be rough.

Several activate their Duel Disks when voices are heard.

Koga: I Overlay Goe Goe the Gallant Ninja and Lady Ninja Yue!

The two monsters go into the ground.

Koga: Exceed Summon! Show yourself, Armored Ninja- Blade Heart!

Salia: Come to my aid, Great Poseidon Beetle!

Arnold: I use Ties of the Brethren and summon Wrench Warrior and Screw Warrior in addition to my Hammer Warrior.

They combine into Toolbox Warrior. The three surround Marie, Tier, and Tony. Seth finally walks up and draws.

Seth: I summon my mighty Aurora Borealis Dragon!

All the monsters appear before the guards.

Tony: What are you doing here?

Shimmer: I knew you couldn't stay away long. Come on, Frost and Flame Dragon!

Marie: Looks like we'll be here a while.

Seth: Yeah. But don't worry. I gave all my hope to Yusuke. I'll just have to leave the rest to him now.

Arnold: Glad to hear it.

Elsewhere, Yusuke and the others reach a door.

Yusuke: This is it guys. Let's move.

Armen is lying on a table. Aslo looks nervous next to him.

Aslo: Are you sure?

Armen: Yes. They clearly are going to be annoying. So I'll just have to deal with them. Otherwise Project Upsilon will not be a success. Doctor, you may start.

A doctor walks in grinning.

Doctor: Yes sir.

Other people push in the Omega D as Armen grins.

Episode 103: The Truth of Sokuji Armen

In a city, a man is walking down the street. He takes out a cloth and dabs at his forehead as he pants.

Man: So hot…I'm dying…

???: Sir!

He turns and sees two kids wearing sunglasses.

Man: Yeah?

Girl: You look awfully warm. Would you like something to drink?

Man: No thanks. I'm late for work as it is.

Boy: But you sure look thirsty! And look! Our new water not only quenches your first, but it also helps you lose weight! And not only that, it also affects your adrenaline and makes you more energetic! It's all due to our specially created formula!

Man: Really? Well, that is impressive. And my wife is always telling me I need to lose weight….okay, give me a bottle!

The boy tosses the man a bottle. He flicks off the top and drinks it down. He wipes his mouth and sighs.

Man: Damn, that is good water. In fact, I feel energized already! I feel like I could walk around the whole world and not get tired! I feel like….

He takes a few steps and then collapses. Dex and Alicia grin at each other.

Dex: He fell for it.

Opening

In an alley, three people are asleep as Yusuke, Axel, and Tamika are standing by. Dex and Alicia walk in dragging the man and drop him.

Alicia: And there's number 4.

Axel: About time. How long was it going to take you? I got mine hours ago.

Tamika: That's because you beat him up. You were supposed to give him the spiked water so no one can pin it on us. We've got enough charges, we don't need an extra assault charge.

Axel: Hey, he wouldn't take the water. I had to take drastic measures.

Yusuke: Well, it was unorthodox, but we got everything we need. Now we can go ahead and infiltrate AllTech.

Dex: Right. So, what's the plan? Just one more time?

Yusuke: Basically, me, you, Alicia, and Axel are going to infiltrate AllTech. Tamika and Seth are going to be here on standby. I want you three to go to Armen's main database. If there are any records of what he's up to, chances are they'll be in there.

Dex: Sounds like a plan.

Axel: Sounds like boring work to me, but whatever.

Alicia: Hang on. What are you going to do then?

Yusuke: I want to look around the building. Maybe there's some physical evidence lying around that can convict Armen.

Axel: Sure. It's just lying around in a pile waiting for someone to stumble across it. Makes perfect sense.

Yusuke: Well, right now we don't have any other plans. This is our only option.

Axel: I'm not saying that. We just need to be careful.

Tamika: Says the guy who knocked out his target.

Axel: Stuff it.

Yusuke: Okay guys, we need to move! The day shift starts soon and it would look very conspicuous if we aren't on time. Come on, get dressed. We need to move.

Everyone: Right!

In a mysterious location, Armen is typing on a keyboard.

Aslo: Everything's ready sir.

Armen: Good. In that case, I'll be leaving. Need to get things set up and what not. I'll expect you later Aslo, as soon as you take care of the…other matter.

Aslo: Yes sir! Of course sir.

Outside, Dex and Alicia are wearing business suits and walking towards the building.

Dex: The plan is that me and Alicia will enter the building first and get an overall layout of the building. Then we send those plans back to Seth and Tamika, who will analyze the blueprints and send us all a detailed map of the building. Then, Koga and Salia will cause some kind of distraction that will allow us to sneak away unseen and get to higher levels. Yusuke will sneak into the building through an air vent to find what he wants and Axel masquerades as an emergency worker to get inside the building. In theory it sounds like a good plan, but there are too many things that could go wrong. And if this plan goes wrong, it will REALLY go wrong.

Alicia: We'll just have to hope everything works out. Hopefully we can get away with this.

Man: Hey!

Both jump and scream.

Man: You forgot to scan your badges. The doors won't open unless you do.

Dex: Oh right….aha ha!

Alicia: Sorry. We're new here.

Man: Yeah. You must be. I've been working here 25 years and I've never seen you before in my life.

Dex: Well, you know. People need workers. And age doesn't equal skill.

Man: Don't I know it. Anyway, go on through. The computer recognizes your ID cards.

They entre through the doors and breathe sighs of relief.

Dex: That was WAY too close for comfort.

Alicia: You're telling me. I felt my heart leap into my throat.

Dex: Alright, we're in. Let's find a map or something.

They walk around a bit as people are busily running around and making phone calls.

Alicia: This place seems so normal. It's hard to believe they don't even know what's going on under their noses.

Dex: That's why we're doing this though. To let the people know Armen doesn't really care about them.

Alicia: Well yeah, I know what. I just wish….we didn't have to do this.

Dex: Neither do I, but it's the only way to clear our names. Oh, here!

A map of the building is on the wall. Dex takes out a handheld computer and types in buttons. He holds the PDA to the map as it scans the map and beeps. Seth is at a computer when the picture turns on.

Seth: Here we go. Phase 1 complete. From the looks of the map, the database is on the highest floor

Yusuke: Anything that looks out of place?

Seth: No, the building code seems to use the reasonable amount of electricity it should. So they can't be powering anything out of the ordinary. Unless...I compare these records with the records from the electric company. That should give me what we're looking for.

Yusuke: How are you going to get those though?

Seth: I had already asked to borrow them a little earlier. I was surprised they even agreed to it. I guess some people still see me as king…

Yusuke: The files?

Seth: Right. Basically, compared to the power grid from the electric company, the building doesn't seem to be using more electricity. Except…here in the basement. A lot of power has been flowing there recently. I'm not sure if it means anything, but it's a start.

Yusuke: Got it.

Inside, Alicia and Dex nervously drink water and look at the guards by the elevator.

Dex: Now?

Alicia: No. We need to wait for the signal first.

Dex: This sucks. Why weren't Salia and Koga more specific? If we don't know what the sign is, how can we leap into action?

Suddenly, a crash is heard. Everyone in the lobby turns as both Koga and Salia are wearing clown outfits.

Koga: Welcome everyone!

Salia: Time for our traveling circus to perform, on request of Sokuji Armen!

Man: Huh? Mr. Armen called you?

Man 2: I thought Mr. Armen hated clowns…

Salia: Everyone, take a break! Take a break! This is free entertainment for you straight from Armen's pocket.

Koga: Now, watch our grand Unicycle Act of Passion!

He jumps on a unicycle. Salia gets on top of him and Koga wheels around for a second before both collapse. Everyone laughs.

Man: Say, this is pretty funny!

Man 2: They're just like a comedy duo!

Koga stands up again grinning as he takes out a bottle of seltzer water and sprays Salia in the face. Everyone laughs even more as the guards grin at each other.

Guard 1: This is awesome! Armen sure knows comedy when he sees it.

Guard 2: I gotta get a closer look at this.

Both keep laughing as they walk off. Alicia and Dex just look confused.

Dex: Well….they distracted the guards. I guess that's what really matters. Though I wouldn't call it comedy…

Alicia: We'd better get a move on. Who knows how long they can keep this up for?

She turns as Salia tosses a pie in Koga's face. Everyone laughs. Dex heads to the elevator and swipes the fake ID in. The elevator opens and both step inside. The doors close and the elevator goes up. Music plays as they both stand nervous.

Dex: I wonder if everything else is going according to plan.

Outside, Yusuke looks around. All guards at the front gate are turned away watching Koga and Salia. Yusuke runs past quickly and heads to the back of the building. He kicks a window and it shatters. He looks around one last time and crawls inside.

Seth: They're in. We just leave it to them now.

Tamika: Time for phase 2.

Axel is leaning by his bike when his monitor changes.

Axel: About damn time. Alright, let's see how great my acting is.

People are clapping as Salia and Koga are now balancing on balls when a whistle is heard. Axel rushes in, disguised as a police officer.

Axel: Everyone, get away! I've just discovered there's a weapon here!

Man: A-A weapon!

Guard: But…those two kids are gone!

Axel: Yes! Everyone needs to leave the building right now! Otherwise we all could be in danger!

Guard 2: And why should we trust you?

Woman: Yeah, let's see some proof.

Koga and Salia nod. Salia presses a button. A noise like an explosion sounds. Everyone looks around in fear.

Axel: Evacuate, right now!

People scream and make a beeline for the doors. Axel pushes through as they do and heads to the elevator.

Axel: Code red! Requesting all personal!

He runs into the elevator and it goes up. He takes off the helmet and breathes a sigh of relief.

Axel: Man that was a close one. They almost didn't buy my act.

He gets out at the top floor as Dex and Alicia are using the computer.

Axel: Any luck?

Dex: This isn't exactly easy you know. The computer's password protected. I won't be able to log on unless I know the password.

Axel: The password huh? Hm…well, can't you hack past it?

Dex: Don't you think I've tried that? I'm telling you, this firewall is solid. It's built to keep people out.

Axel: Here, I think I know a solution. This is what my dad always does. If it doesn't work….

He stands near the computer and moves his foot back.

Axel: Give it a good kick!

He kicks the computer. Nothing happens except that his eyes well up with tears and he jumps up and down.

Alicia: Wow. That was SO effective.

Axel: Shut it….

Dex: Hm…hold on, give me a second. If I do this, I might be able to go OVER the firewall. Hold on….yes!

Alicia: You did it!

Dex: And now for his files.

As he clicks, binary code fills the screen. Everyone looks shocked.

Axel: What happened? Where's all the data!?

Dex: No….don't tell me it's all gone.

Alicia: Wait, something's coming up!

A duel screen appears to come up with text.

Axel: "Win in this turn?"

Dex: A Duel Puzzle! I see, it's like a second firewall. A firewall in case someone gets past the first.

Axel: Let's see here….you've got Cannon Soldier and Kuriboh [ATK 300/DEF 200 LV 1]. Set on your field is Multiply. In your hand, you have Cybernetic Magician, Token Thanksgiving, Stray Lambs, and The League of Uniform Nomenclature, and 1000 life points. Your opponent has Spirit Reaper [ATK 300/DEF 200 LV 3], a set card, and 5000 life points. Heh. This'll be easy! Leave it to me!

He sits down and types rapidly, a sprite appearing on the screen.

Axel: This'll be easy! First I use the Spell card Multiply. This lets me sacrifice Kuriboh and summon 4 Kuriboh Tokens [ATK 300/DEF 200 LV 1 each]. Next I release Cannon Soldier to Advance Summon my Cybernetic Magician [ATK 2400/DEF 1000 LV 6]. I discard two cards [Token Thanksgiving and Stray Lambs] to raise the power of two Tokens to 2000 [ATK 2000/DEF 200 LV 1]. Now I discard my last card to raise the power of Spirit Reaper [ATK 2000/DEF 200 LV 3]. When Spirit Reaper is affected by a card, he is destroyed. Now, both Kuriboh Tokens attack you directly!

Both Tokens ram into the computer sprite, the first buffering it [Computer LP = 3000], the second hit pushing it back [Computer LP = 1000].

Axel: Perfect! And now to end it! Cybernetic Magician attacks you directly!

Computer: Trap card, Narrow Corridor. Only two monsters can attack per turn.

Axel: …Huh?

Computer: Fail.

Axel turns to stone in shock as his sprite vanishes.

Alicia: Moron! You could have checked his face downs since it's a duel puzzle!

Axel: Shut up!

Dex: Hm….got it! You forgot to use Cannon Soldier's effect. You could have released the other Tokens.

Axel: …Damn it! How could I forget?!

Dex: Here, let me try.

His sprite appears.

Dex: Here we go! I use Multiply. I release Kuriboh and summon four Kuriboh Tokens [ATK 300/DEF 200 LV 1 each]. I release two Tokens and use Cannon Soldier's effect to deal 500 points of damage for each one.

Soldier points its gun and fires. The computer is hit and recoils [Computer LP = 4000].

Dex: I release Cannon Soldier to Advance Summon my Cybernetic Magician [ATK 2400/DEF 1000 LV 6]. Now I discard three cards from my hand. Using this effect, both my Tokens gain 2000 attack points and your Spirit Reaper is destroyed [ATK 2000/DEF 200 LV 1 each]. I attack directly with both Kuribohs.

Both slam into computer, blowing it up.

Computer: You win!

Alicia: Yes, you did it!

Axel: …Uh oh. Looks like there's a second puzzle.

Dex: Hm…this time the opponent has 2000 life points, a set monster, and three set cards. In his hand, he has Sinister Serpent. According to the computer, its three sets are Dimensional Prison, Magic Jammer, and D2 Shield and his set monster is Marshmallon. We have 1000 life points, Power Tool Dragon equipped with Megamorph and Sword of Dragon's Soul [ATK 5300/DEF 2500 LV 7]. In our hands there's Pot of Greed, Magic Hole Golem, and Release Restraint Wave. Our deck contains Fairy Meteor Crush, Ballista of Rampart Smashing, and Axe of Despair.

Axel: Hm…that's a tricky one. Power Tool has the power to search for equips. Use that to activate Release Restraint Wave. But then Marshmallon. If we attack it, it'll flip up and deal 1000 points of damage. So….

Alicia: I've got it! Let me!

Her sprite appears.

Alicia: It's all about the timing. I use Power Tool Dragon. Now three Equip Spells are taken from my deck. One is then added to my hand.

Computer: The right one.

Alicia: Here we go! I use Fairy Meteor Crush.

Axel: Huh?!

Computer: Trap card, Magic Jammer. By discarding one card, your Spell is negated.

Alicia: No worries. Now I use Pot of Greed and draw 2 cards. Next I equip Power Tool Dragon with Axe of Despair and Ballista of Rampart Smashing [ATK 6300/DEF 2500 LV 7]. Now I use Release Restraint Wave. I send Ballista to the grave to destroy all your Spell and Traps. Next I summon Magic Hole Golem [ATK 0/DEF 2000 LV 3]. By halving the attack points of Power Tool Dragon, I attack the opponent directly [ATK 3150/DEF 2500 LV 7]. Go get him! Crafty Break!

Dragon flies and hits the computer.

Computer: You win!

Axel and Dex: Awright!

Aslo: Too far….

He presses a button. Alarms blare throughout the building. Yusuke walks around a basement and freaks out.

Yusuke: No! Have we been detected!?

Dex: Uh….I don't like the sound of that!

Axel: We gotta move! Like now!

Alicia turns, but quickly slips a zip drive into the computer, taking it a few seconds later. Police surround the building. Salia and Koga look nervous.

Koga: What'll we do? They still need more time.

Salia: Um…let me think, um….follow my lead on this!

She reels back and punches him outside. She stomps after him growling.

Salia: I'll kill you!

Koga: Hold on, please stop!

Officer: Hey, what you kids doing!?

Officer: Knock it off! Hey stop, you'll kill him!

The officers crowd around them. Yusuke meets up with the others behind their backs.

Yusuke: Did you get it?

Alicia: Mm-hmm. Right here.

Axel: Now come on, move it!

They look outside and slowly sneak towards their D- Wheels.

Officer 3: Hey, it's them!

Dex: Move, move!

They get on their vehicles and race off.

Officer 4: Damn! After them!

They rush to their vehicles and give chase. Seth is in the control room and taps some buttons. Jupiter and Prometheus are on a roof.

Jupiter: The signal I believe.

Prometheus: Right.

His eyes glow silver and a wall appears, cutting the police off. They come to a stop and watch as Yusuke and the others get away.

Officer 5: Damn!

Aslo: Sorry sir. I couldn't stop them.

Armen: Oh well. It can't be helped. Sooner or later my location would have been compromised. At the very least, I'll get something set up for them. Get ready Aslo. Project Upsilon is ready to launch.

Back at base, they slip the zip drive into the computer.

Tamika: Time to see what's so important.

Files flash by as Seth looks through. He clicks on one and everyone gasps.

Alicia: This is a joke, right?!

Seth: No….this is the right files all right.

Dex: But that…that's sick.

Axel: According to this file….Project Upsilon is…

Tamika: To invade the world using an army of android robots. No way….this was what he was planning?!

Yusuke: It's worse than we thought. Much worse than we thought…

They stare at the screen which shows pictures of large, bulky robots.

Ending

In a cave, Enzan battles against someone else. Supernova Blue Dragon is summoned and blasts the duelist, making him fly back. Enzan freaks out and runs over to him.

Yuji: And as for me? I'm the leader of Sector Seven Japan Division. Every day I'm called into the field to protect the world. It may be hard work….but the smiles I leave behind make it worthwhile.

Yuji comes to a stop. In a stadium, Dark Sage defeats a duelist as Takimaru looks up. Luna looks up in the forest, brushing hair out of her eyes. Tyson is working on something at a desk and goes outside. Alice is writing on a balcony and looks up. Cain sighs as he drinks wine on his balcony and looks up. Raythe walks out onto a mountain edge and looks across to the stars.

Yuji: Our adventures as the Seven Stars may be at an end. But each of our individual journeys? They're just getting started.

Ending, which shows an epilogue. Yuji is racing after two criminals as he activates his Duel Disk, summoning Clock Warrior and stopping them dead in their tracks. Takimaru is dueling against Zephyr as Alice is in the stands screaming. A man walks up and nervously hands a book over. Alice looks embarrassed, but then happily signs it. Tyson is in a lab and puts on a D- Gazer. A hologram appears as he cheers and Jack and Caius dance in circles. Cain sighs and sits down to do more paperwork, a picture of both Michael and Raika on the wall. Raythe greets his uncle and hands over a bag, which he happily takes. Luna heads into a cave and sees an injured animal. She bandages its legs and it runs off as she smiles. Hunter G and Mushiro are at the beach in the sun. Mushiro gets hit by a water balloon and chases the kids as G simply sighs and turns to wave at her family. Hanson is at the station directing people as he sits down and sighs. Ginro and Zaborg walk up as he directs them elsewhere and they immediately take off. Raika walks into a cabin where the old woman waits. Nihility heads into the woods to meet with the messenger. Urma is smiling at the ocean while Raiza and Willas are grinning at a field of flowers in a newly built town. At a playhouse, Kuraz and Demiurge smile as a play is going on, their names in the title. Effigy is with Enzan, Shaman, and Thestalos meditating by the fire. Enzan and Thestalos find themselves on fire as they roll over to put it out. In Froesta Town, Serena and Sasuke greet X, who sits down next to Granmarg and Mobius. Nim then runs in with food as Mobius looks nervous, and then nods to him. George is at a dig as Andromeda and Laplace set their trays down next to Genesis, Prometheus, and Exodus. The boss of Riding Repairs chews a cigar when Cilantro runs in, giving him a bag. The boss bites into a burger and cries from the flavor. At Michael's grave, the remains of his mask are now there. There is one last shot of Yuji and Luna cuddling, Alice and Takimaru standing together, Cain sipping from a flask, Raythe simply turned away, Tyson lying on the grass, and Enzan looking bored as they are all together below the stars. The spirits of the Seven Dark Stars, Kron, Yukiro, and Artemis watch as a constellation shaped like a seven-pointed star is above them.

Lights fire from all around the world to the Knight. In their minds, they see many people. They remember Nanami, Hunter G's family, Shinji and Subaru, Takashi, Hoji, Sakura, Chiriken, Mitskasuke, Miyu, Tetsuo, Kron, Yuji's dad, George, Solana, Pirate, the kids of the Duel School, the old woman in the mountains, the shaman of the forest, the Peruvian Sector Seven, Lyla and Scorpius, Duncan, Jinji and his dad, Zephyr, the Gemini twins, Artemis, and lastly, they think of all their friends. Michael looks stunned as a bunch of monsters appear. In the Knight's mind, more words flow.

Raythe: I want to help people like me!

Alice: I want to become a famous writer!

Tyson: I want to build many new machines.

Cain: I want to guide Sector Seven in a new direction.

Luna: I want to help wildlife that are in danger.

Takimaru: I want people to protect the ones they love.

Yuji: And I….want a world where dreams exist.

They glow as many monsters appear alongside the Knight, including the Zero Synchro monsters, the Creators, Vesuvius Dragon, Supernova Blue Dragon, Ally of Justice- Peace Dragon, Nihil Draco, Arcana Knight Joker, Siren Sergeant, Artillery Weapons Dragon, Phoenix Gearfried, Flying Fortress SKYFIRE, Thought Ruler Archfiend, Light and Darkness Dragon, XX-Saber Gottoms, and many others. The monster fuse with the Knight as it spreads a giant set of wings and its armor turns pale gray, its armor becoming thicker, its scepter being as large as a building with glowing fire, and the same with the sword. Michael is twitching.

Michael: Impossible.

Seven- Star Knight: Do you see? This is what dreams can accomplish!

Michael: Ha! Big deal! The whole world is a bunch of fools then! Dreams are nothing compared to despair! Creator of Chaos- Feriluc can negate an attack once per turn. And its attack points are the same!

Seven- Star Knight: Seven- Star Knight's effect. I remove 5 monsters from play and negate the effect of all DARK monsters, reducing their attack points to zero.

Michael: Impossible!

Seven- Star Knight: Sublimination Light!

Its wings open as a bright light shines. Five meteors shoot out and streak towards Feriluc. Its eyes blinks and it shoots Chaos at them. The lights move to avoid the chaos as they turn into Void Dragon, Great Condor Ezikiel, Duke of Divine Hearts, Light Knight, and Mach Kuriboh. Dragon roars as it pierces the left arm [ATK 4000/DEF 4000 LV 12]. Ezikiel squawks as it pierces the right arm [ATK 3000/DEF 3000 LV 12]. Duke and Knight roar as they pierce the two legs [ATK 1000/DEF 1000 LV 12]. Kuriboh charges and pierces the eye as the monster roars in agony [ATK 0/DEF 0 LV 1].

Michael: Impossible….

Yuji: Time to end this….everyone!

Everyone: Right!

Seven- Star Knight: Dream's….Future….Radiance!

It puts both weapons together into a spear and charges forward. Everyone's faces appear screaming.

People below: Yuji!

Knights: Yuji!

Yuji's friends: Yuji!

People around the world: Yuji!

The Knight becomes a meteor of light as he turns into Yuji, who screams. The Chaos creeps closer to the ground as Michael backs away. Yuji pierces through the body of Feriluc, emerging from the opposite side. Its eye moves in all directions as It cracks, light pouring through the cracks. Michael's eyes are wide as the monster cracks more.

Michael: No…..how could my despair fail!?

Yuji: If you need us to tell you.

He sheathes his weapons.

Seven- Star Knight: Then YOU are the fool.

The monster blows up. Michael screams as the light engulfs him. The light becomes a massive pillar that pierces the Chaos, dissipating it. Everyone looks in shock as the Chaos fades. All around the world, the Chaos cloud dissipates. The people below are in shock when Enzan suddenly…

Enzan: They did it! Yuji, Raythe, everyone!

Effigy: Good work!

Hanson and Jack: Niiiice!

Mushiro: Phew…that was rough.

Hunter G suddenly hugs him tightly, crushing his face against her chest.

Hunter G: We did it! We did it!

Mushiro: Lily….can't….breathe!

She suddenly lets go as he gasps for air.

Mushiro: Sorry. Limbs are still a little stiff.

Nihility: Impressive.

Shaman: They truly are something.

Yuji's mother: Thank goodness.

The stars twinkle in the night sky as the Knight descends. It glows and turns into seven pieces, the Seven Stars. They stand in silence for a minute.

Raythe: ….Damn that was exhausting.

Cain: I know what you mean, everything hurts.

Takimaru: Heh. But we really did it.

Alice: We sure did.

Tyson: We saved the world this time.

Luna: And now….what do you think?

Yuji: Yeah…let's…celebrate.

Later that evening, everyone is in Sector Seven. People are laughing and clinking glasses. Enzan is laughing as Effigy ruffles his hair and Nihility simply stands there. Alice is talking with Hunter G as Tyson is speaking with Mushiro, Caius, and Jack, who are nodding. Raythe simply stands in the corner drinking punch when Raiza walks up and offers a slice of cake, which Raythe takes with a grin. Thestalos, Zaborg, Ginro, and Nim all stand around out of place when Hanson hands out bottles. Demiurge and Kuraz are chatting with Mushiro and Hunter G.unterHGH Luna smiles and walks around as Cain is in his officer, speaking with the other Sector Seven leaders.

Cain: Well….what do we do now?

Ivan: Our leader is gone. There's really no choice. Sector Seven must be disbanded.

Cain: I see….understood.

Kiwa: Hold on gentlemen, this is a conference. Let's let everyone speak.

Ivan: What do you have to say?

Kiwa: I say we simply elect a new leader.

Ivan: And who do you suggest to fit such a huge role?

Kiwa: Isn't it obvious? Why Cain of course!

Cain: Wuh….me!?

Ivan: Hm….now that's not a bad idea.

Cain: Hey on a second, don't I even get a say in this?!

Kiwa: Are you saying you don't want the position?

Cain: Well I….it's just all so sudden! I haven't even run this branch very long. I don't think I'm ready to run the entire thing!

Ivan: What do you mean Cain? I'd say you're more than perfect for the job.

Cain: But…

Ivan: No. Be quiet and listen. You're perfect for the job because of who you are. You never give up. You're always fighting for what's right. Those are the qualities that a leader needs.

Kiwa: Raika himself said you have great potential. Why not keep proving him right?

Cain: Jeez, you guys are going to make me blush but….okay then, it's a done deal. I'll be the new head of Sector Seven!

Everyone claps and cheers as Cain looks embarrassed. On the balcony, Yuji is speaking with Mobius and Granmarg.

Yuji: You're going?

Sir Granmarg: We have no choice in the matter. The King is dead. The Knights have fallen. Our path now is gone. We need to find a new path.

Yuji: I see. Well, I wish you luck. I hope you guys find what is you're looking for.

Sir Mobius: Yuji Ryos, I want you to promise me something. On your grave.

Yuji: You don't need to. You know I won't break a promise….

Sir Mobius: No! A true Knight must pledge on his life!

Yuji: ….Right. I pledge on my life then.

Sir Mobius: Pledge the next time we meet, we can have a real duel. Right now, I can't duel you again. The result would only be the same. But promise we will fight again one day, as soon as I learn what my destiny is.

Yuji: …I promise!

Mobius grins slightly and turns to Granmarg.

Sir Mobius: And how long do you plan on following me?

Sir Granmarg: I'm looking for my own future as well. For the record, you're simply walking in front of me.

Sir Mobius: Hmph. Do you as you please.

He jumps down, using his sword to create an ice flow. He gets on his D- Wheel and takes off.

Sir Granmarg: It'll be interesting, Yuji Ryos. I look forward to seeing the future you build for yourself.

He jumps down as well and takes off. Yuji smiles when he hears something. He turns around and sees Luna standing there.

Yuji: Luna?

Luna: I wanted to look at the night sky. After all, it's our last night together in the city. Do you mind?

Yuji: No.

The stand side by side in the moonlight.

Luna: Um….I need to ask something.

Yuji: What is it?

Luna: I know someone. And she likes someone. I mean….really likes them. Would by willing to die for them. But at the same time, they want to leave and pursue their dreams. But they don't want to be apart from the person they care about. So….what do they do? Do they follow their heart? Or stay? Please….even though you won't say it….just say it.

Yuji: Well….I don't make decisions for people. But if I were them….I'd follow their heart.

Luna: Don't say that!

He turns surprised by her outburst as she suddenly hugs him. Yuji seems clearly surprised as Luna begins sobbing.

Luna: Don't say that….don't you dare say that….I don't want to be apart from you….but I want to follow my dream. I'm so confused…..I don't know what to do. Please! Just tell me to do something! Please!

Yuji: Luna….I can't tell you to do anything. Only you can decide what to do for yourself.

Luna: But I don't know what to do for myself!

Yuji takes her hand. She looks at him.

Yuji: It's hard, I know. I don't want to be apart from you guys either. But I had to think. Who would benefit from that? Who would suffer? I didn't want to be apart from you guys at first. Now I see that was stupid. You guys would be held back if you stayed here. So I'm telling you. Go out into the world. Help other people and obtain new experiences.

Luna: But….I'll miss you….

Yuji: Don't worry. As far apart as we are physically….we're the same, don't forget. As long as we have the Seven Star powers….we'll never truly be apart. Mind, body, or soul.

Luna: Yuji….

In the moonlight, the two seem to turn red and slowly lean close to each other.

Raythe: Whoa, we're not interrupting anything right?

They leap apart and gasp as the other Seven Stars walk out.

Yuji: N-Nothing happened!

Takimaru: Really? Not from what I saw. No wonder you two wanted to be alone.

Luna: It's not true!

Alice: Come on, don't be embarrassed! Look, you're blushing!

Luna: I'm not!

Tyson: She is, see!

Yuji: What are you guys doing here?

Cain: Even we need a break from the party crowd.

They turn back to see Enzan drinking against Zaborg.

Chorus: Chug, chug, chug, chug, chug!

Raythe: Well, most of us anyway. Besides, the moon was so nice tonight I couldn't resist. And besides….this is our last night in the same city.

Tyson: It's true then. After tonight….we go our separate ways.

Alice: Yeah. We really will….

They suddenly begin bawling as well.

Yuji: What's wrong?

Tyson: It's just…I don't want to forget you guys! We've had so many good times together and I don't want them to end!

Takimaru: Hey, come on! I said I'd email you guys!

Tyson: That's not good enough!

Alice: We'll miss you! We don't want to leave here! That means erasing everything! Even Cain's leaving!

Luna: Huh? You are?

Cain: Man, cat's out of the bag huh? Yeah….I'm skipping town too. Got a new job. You're looking at the new head of Sector Seven.

Yuji: Really?! Good job!

Cain: Yeah, it's going to be a big job. But hey, someone's got to do it, right?

Raythe: Heh. I'm going out into the world. I want to see what's out there. There are probably a lot of people out there who need help.

Takimaru: Next time you see me, it'll be on a poster of world's greatest duelists!

Alice: I'm going straight to America to syndicate my novel. I've already got a second one planned.

Tyson: I'm going to Heartland University. I want to study all I can about machines and technology!

Luna: I've decided too….I'm going to become a biologist!

Yuji: I'm happy. And I'll….stay right here.

Tyson: Huh?

Yuji: I'll follow in my father's footsteps and become a member of Sector Seven. I'll also be here and guard this city. And also….I'll be a record. Of all the times we've had here.

Everyone begins to tear up at this point. Yuji holds out his hand. Raythe and Takimaru then hold out theirs, followed by Alice and Tyson, then Cain and Luna. Their hands form a seven pointed star.

Yuji: Goodbye everyone. And good luck to you.

The sun begins to rise behind them. They turn to look as Takimaru wraps his arms around Alice and Luna stands with her head on Yuji's shoulder. The screen goes black

3 Years Later

Yuji's mother: Yuji, you'll be late!

Yuji: Sorry, I'm on it!

He runs down the stairs and takes off on his D- Wheel.

Yuji: It's been 3 years since that party. A lot has changed then. Takimaru became the head of the Pro Circuit. They call him The Wizard now, due to his amazing Spell combos. Luna became a biologist, and she has discovered many new things about the earth. In addition to….other things.

Luna is in a jungle watching a bug through a magnifying glass. She looks at her hand for a second and smiles. He smiles as his hand as he passes a poster with Takimaru on it. A commercial with Tyson is on TV.

Yuji: Tyson discovered a new form of virtual reality. He calls it Augmented Reality. It's supposed to be the new thing.

He stops as a truck stops in front of a store.

Yuji: Alice has now written 3 different books, each one telling the story of our adventures.

He keeps going as Hanson pulls up.

Hanson: Yo. Lily and Mushiro send their regards.

Yuji: Yeah. Of course they would, they're on the beach right now.

Hanson: Hey, it is their special time. Anyway, just saying to save me a slice of wedding cake.

Yuji: I told you, we're not….

Hanson: Sure, sure! Like I haven't heard that one before!

He takes off as Yuji frowns slightly.

Yuji: As for everyone else, Raythe has traveled the world. He always gloats about the thing's he's seen. Effigy is back in his village. No one knows where Nihility is, and I doubt we ever will. Cain, now the new Sector Seven leader, has united the branches and formed the Sector Seven United Agency, a global agency dedicated to preserving world peace. In other words, he's pretty busy as well.

Raythe is walking through a marsh. Nihility is in a mountain range and vanishes a second later. Cain is at a table with the other Sector Seven leaders seated around him. Yuji moves faster onto the road. Nihility is his village surrounded by people. He looks embarrassed as his mother walks up. He looks afraid as his mother smiles and pats him on the head.

Yuji: Today, there is no Card of the Day. The most powerful card is the one you hold dear to your heart

Episode 250: Our Last Turn…

Opening

All around the world, Chaos is spreading and blasting down, wiping out chunks of the ground below. Everyone is panicking and trying to flee as others are staying to block the Chaos. In N.T City, Michael grins [Chaos King LP = 1500]. Yuji and Cain both stare him down [Yuji LP = 3000]. [Cain LP = 1100]. Raythe lies twitching on the ground as more Chaos begins to rain down. Everyone can barely keep holding it back as the Chaos begins to make their monsters buckle.

Yuji: This Chaos Storm only keeps growing stronger….

Cain: It must be because of that Creator. We have to destroy that thing quickly. Otherwise it'll destroy the entire city.

Yuji: Right. We have to take that thing down. Are you ready for this?

Cain: Not really. But I'm not about to let everyone down. So no way in hell I'll surrender to him.

Michael: Your attempt at planning a strategy is so amusing. But it is pointless. Nothing you do will make a difference. Nothing you plan will be able to work. Nothing you can summon will even begin to match the power of my monster. You might as well just surrender.

Cain: If I surrendered, I wouldn't be able to face everyone else. So we're not giving up! Here we go, draw! I summon Big Shield Gardna in defense mode [ATK 100/DEF 2600 LV 4]. Turn end.

Yuji: Here we go, my turn! Glad I drew you buddy. I could use your help right now. I summon Mach Kuriboh in defense mode [ATK 300/DEF 200 LV 1]. I place a card face down and end my turn.

Tyson: All they're doing is playing defense.

Takimaru: With a monster like that Creator of Chaos, they would be insane to attack. If anything, defense is the best way to go.

Hunter G: Even if they do play defense, that monster will still crush them. After all, it has 5000 attack points.

Hanson: And not only that, all their main monsters are gone.

Effigy: Usually I'm the positive one, but even I can't find a silver lining in this case.

Enzan: What the hell is wrong with all of you?! Have they ever let us down before?! Seriously, you're giving up hope now?! Right now is when we can't give up hope! As long as we have hope, we have a chance of victory!

Jack: There's a difference between being hopeful and just being foolish.

Luna No, I agree with him. The rest of you can go give up hope, but I'll still believe they can do it. I'll be rooting for the, no matter what, even if he has five monsters with 5000 attack points.

Alice: Luna….Enzan….yeah, you guys are right! Come on everyone, shout out to them! Good luck!

Effigy: Don't lose!

Tyson: You can do it!

Takimaru: You'd better come back safely!

Hunter G and Hanson: Go for it!

Jack: Go!

Nihility: They truly are something, aren't they?

Shaman: Indeed. They take a bad situation and turn it around. No matter how bleak things look, they always look towards light.

Mobius watches them with a shocked expression.

Sir Delg: It confused me too. Now I understand though. They believe in each other, not just in one person. That's what gives them the strength to win.

Sir Mobius: Together….I'll be right back.

He rushes off towards the Sector Seven building.

Michael: Your attempts are meaningless! Draw. I use Stop Defense. This lets me change the position of a monster in defense mode and change it to attack mode. I choose your Big Shield Gardna [ATK 100/DEF 2600 LV 4].

Cain: Oh no!

Michael: Maybe defeat will finally get the message across. Sector Seven is a lie. Go, Apocalypse Beam!

Yuji: Trap card, Vanishing Agony! All damage from the attack is negated!

The eye glows and fires a powerful beam. Gardna is hit and blows up. The sheer power crumbles buildings in the immediate area. People scream as rubble heads towards them.

Enzan: Oh no! The people! Supernova!

It begins to spit fire at the rubble. It destroys some as more only falls. Vesuvius Dragon and Red- Eyes Ebony Dragon help it.

Enzan: You guys?

Effigy: Hey, we gotta stick together, y'know?

Shaman: Indeed. Let's go. To rebuild the lost colony of Pyromefia!

Their attacks grow stronger as the rubble burns up completely.

Michael: Yes, but for how long can you dodge? Sooner or later, the Chaos will catch up to you. You can't avoid it.

Yuji: We're not avoiding it. We're waiting for the right cards to stomp you flat.

Michael: Interesting! Then show me these so called powerful cards you are waiting for. Turn end!

Cain: Here we go, my turn! …I set a card. Big Shield Gardna goes to defense mode [ATK 100/DEF 2600 LV 4]. This….is for the future.

Yuji: Cain?

Michael: For the future? You still believe in such a thing?

Cain: As long as I have a little bit of hope, I won't give up. If I didn't, when I died and went to the afterlife, I wouldn't be able to look my sister in the face!

Michael: Of course. Isn't that an example of what I'm saying though?

Cain: I don't care about anything you have to say! Let the duel be our words!

Yuji: Cain….what's with him all of a sudden? No….don't tell me his plan is to…I draw. I summon Tomahawk Warrior [ATK 1600/DEF 800 LV 4]. Now for his monster effect. I can halve his attack points in order to attack the opponent directly [ATK 800/DEF 800 LV 4]. Go, Tomahawk Swing!

Michael: Fool. I use the monster effect of my Creator. Once per turn I can negate the attack from a monster with a lower level.

Chaos blocks the attack. Yuji's eyes widen as he looks down.

Yuji: Turn….end.

Michael: Ha ha ha! Now to wipe out another one! I draw! I use the other effect of my Creator. If there is a DARK monster in my hand, I can summon it without release. Come on, Chaos King the Discord Monarch [ATK 2400/DEF 1000 LV 6]. When this monster is summoned, he can change the battle position of a monster. I choose Mach Kuriboh [ATK 300/DEF 200 LV 1].

Yuji: Oh no! When Kuriboh is destroyed, all damage for the turn is negated. But that doesn't count the damage he takes in battle with another monster.

Michael: It's been fun. But time for us to say farewell. I attack with Creator of Chaos- Feriluc. Apocalypse Beam!

Cain: Trap card, Shield Shield. By sacrificing the defense points of one monster, those damage points limit the damage a player takes. I pay 2600 defense points [ATK 100/DEF 0 LV 4] to limit 2600 points of damage.

The beam fires as Gardna stands in the way. The blast hits, causing more shockwaves throughout the city. Yuji screams as he flies back. Cain stops him before they both go over the edge of the building [Yuji LP = 900].

Yuji: Now that Mach Kuriboh has been destroyed, all damage this turn is zero.

Michael: Not a problem. Chaos King the Discord Monarch attacks Big Shield Gardna. Chaos Strike!

It holds out its hand and fires a ball of Chaos, destroying Gardna.

Michael: That ends my turn.

Yuji's mother: Yuji…please don't lose. You promised you'd come back safely.

Suddenly, the city rocks again. Everyone looks shocked as Michael grins.

Michael: The time is nearing. The world is almost completely overrun with Chaos! When that happens, the sky will fall and crush the earth below! Soon, everything will become nothing but a memory!

Cain: Chaos King….no, Michael. Before we continue at least answer this. Why?! Why do all of this?!

Michael: The proper question is from me to you. Why try to stop me?

Raythe: Great…what the hell's he talking about now?

Michael: What point is there in living? Nothing we do in life matters. The buildings we make crumble to dust. The friends we make grow old and die, becoming nests for the maggots. The friendships we make are destined to wither away and vanish, as if they never existed to begin with. The fact is, there is NO point in life. No human is truly happy. We simply cover our lives with false happiness to say it's worth living. But as I've said, all our accomplishments won't mean anything.

Yuji: What do you mean? There is happiness in life! Who the hell are you to decide that humans aren't happy?

Michael: I know because that was my life. You all know my story, don't you? I was born and raised in the fields of England. My entire life was spent in studies and learning. So much work…I was miserable. But my parents were so keen I didn't want to disappoint them. I thought it made them happy. So I put on a false smile and did my schoolwork. Eventually my brilliance grew and I went to school in America and got a wonderful job. I was excited returning home, to show them what I learned. But…it was never meant to be. By the time I got home, my mother and father were already dead. They had long since passed from this world, having exhausted their bodies and minds. How do you think I felt when I heard that? Everything I had believed in was gone. What I thought was making them happy….was killing them.

His hands tremble as he talks.

Michael: It hurt. But I learned something. We aren't happy. We never have been. Life is a struggle from the moment we are born to the moment we die. Dreams, hope, bonds, life. It's all meaningless. In the end, we lose it all and face despair. So why even live? What's the point in living life if everything you work for goes away? Well, no more. I'm going to end human suffering once and for all. Once the Chaos floods the world and crushes it, there won't be any more pain, or suffering, or sadness. We'll all go to sleep in the endless void. And there, we will live in eternal peace. No war. No remorse.

Yuji: You know….I had some respect for you. Now….it's all gone!

Michael: What?

Yuji: Give me a break! Do you honestly think you're doing the right thing? If you ask me, you're being selfish! And a fool!

Michael: How dare you?! Why can't you see what I'm doing is the right thing?! Why do you oppose me at every turn!?

Cain: Because you're wrong! True, life does have suffering in it. It isn't just a picnic. It isn't always happy. But it isn't just sorrow! Life is happy as well! People have happy things to balance out their sorrow. And even when they live in misery, they look ahead to a bright future they can live in. As long as they have happy dreams, they won't let anything stop them!

Raythe: That's right. Life is what you make of it. It isn't entirely happiness or sorrow. You can change your life though! It's not too late!

Michael: I…I don't understand. I would think of all people, you would understand me the best! And yet you're still fighting me?! For what?!

Yuji: To build our future.

Michael: Is that so? In that case, I'll stamp that future of yours into dust! Compared to all my power, a dream is nothing!

Cain: We'll see about that! Here we go, draw! I use Pot of Greed. This lets me draw 2 cards. Now, I use Ritual of the Dead. By removing Ritual material monsters in my graveyard, I can summon a Ritual monster from my hand. I remove Duke of Divine Hearts and summon Black Luster Soldier.

Duke becomes 8 rings that form into Soldier [ATK 3000/DEF 2500 LV 8]

Cain: Battle! Black Luster Soldier attacks Chaos King the Discord Monarch.

Michael: Fool! The effect of my Creator blocks your attack.

Cain: Sorry, but any monster summoned using Ritual of the Dead is unaffected by cards this turn! Go, Black Luster Sword!

It leaps into the air and draws its sword, chopping Chaos King in half. It blows up as Michael cries in pain [Chaos King LP = 900]

Michael: You insolent….

Cain: I'll show you Michael. I'll create a bright shining future. A future that…is Sector Seven! Turn end.

Cain: Yuji….

Michael: Enough of this….enough of this! You've lived for too long! I won't let you insult me any longer! I'll erase you! Draw. Ha ha ha! Spell card, Battle Hormones. This lets me select one monster and change it to attack mode. I choose your Tomahawk Warrior, Yuji [ATK 1600/DEF 800 LV 4].

Raythe: No!

Cain: Yuji!

Yuji: Don't worry. I'm leaving it to you Cain! Don't let me down!

Michael: So you've embraced defeat? Excellent. Now, I bid you farewell. Go, destroy his Tomahawk Warrior. Apocalypse Beam!

It slowly charges up its beam. Yuji closes his eyes as the attack fires. At the last second Black Luster Soldier flies in the way.

Yuji: Huh?!

Cain: Go ahead Yuji! I don't mind!

Michael: What's this?!

Cain: Simple Chaos King. I'm protecting my teammate.

Yuji: Cain, don't do it! You can still…

Cain: No! If I do it, it means nothing! We need to show this guy what makes us strong. What makes us strong….is trust! I'm trusting you to win this duel!

The blast destroys Soldier. The explosion knocks Cain back a few feet and he rolls around on the building towards the edge. Just before he goes over, he grabs onto the very edge and hangs down [Cain LP = 0]. With a lot of effort, he pulls himself up.

Yuji: Cain….

Michael: Ridiculous. He had more life points. What did he hope to accomplish by leaving things to you? Hope? Trust? Foolish. You can not defeat me Yuji Ryos. This is simple fact. Simple truth. If you can't even accept that, you are even blinder than I imagined. Just give in. There's no point in fighting. You'll be able to see your father again. Everyone you love won't suffer. It'll be glorious. Just take my hand. And I'll guide everyone to a new world!

Yuji: You'll create a new world you say? Any world you create….is a world I refuse to live in!

Michael: Still?! You still have hope?! What?! What makes you want to keep fighting?! What makes you think you can win?!

Right after he says that, the ground begins to shake more. Chaos begins dripping all over the sky.

Michael: You're too late! The Chaos Storm is complete!

All over the world, Chaos begins to drip down. Everyone looks on in shock.

Raythe: No! It can't end here!

Cain: Not after all that hard work!

Enzan: Impossible!

Luna: No….don't lose….Yuji!

Lasers fire and destroy some Chaos. Everyone turns as Mushiro walks up.

Mushiro: What'd I miss?

Hunter G: Mushiro!

Mushiro: Brr….I was frozen for months. Don't think you're off the hook.

Sir Mobius: I understand….

Michael: No way….impossible!

Yuji: It's possible. Do you see? We can't give up…because we're all fighting you! None of us are going to back down and let you win! We'll fight you tooth and nail. That's simply who we are. Even if things look bad. Trap card, Star Shift. When a monster is destroyed in battle, I send one monster to the graveyard and revive one level 7 or higher monster. I release Tomahawk Warrior and summon back Void Dragon [ATK 2500/DEF 2000 LV 8].

Luna: His main monster!

Tyson: Go for it!

Alice: Our hearts are with you!

Yuji's mother: You can do it!

Effigy: Go for it dude!

Nihility: Show them your power!

Enzan: Lose and you need to buy me a dozen burgers!

Shaman: Don't let Chaos win!

Hanson: Show him justice!

Hunter G: Show him hope!

Jack: Show him not to mess with us!

Mushiro: You're an insult if you lose!

Sir Mobius: My rival can't afford to lose here!

Yuji closes his eyes as he imagines everyone thus far. He remembers everyone in the entire series and draws.

Yuji: I summon Light Knight [ATK 1000/DEF 1000 LV 3].

Michael: What?! Not a Zero Synchro monster?!

Yuji: When he is summoned, I can revive one monster in my graveyard as long as it is level 4 or blow. Come back, Mach Kuriboh [ATK 300/DEF 200 LV 1]. I tune my level 1 Mach Kuriboh, level 3 Light Knight, and level 8 Void Dragon.

Knight becomes 3 rings that Dragon and Kuriboh fly through, becoming 9 stars [3 + 1 + 8 = 12]

Yuji: Synchro Summon!

He, Luna, Alice, Tyson, Raythe, and Cain glow. They turn into stars and hurtle towards Yuji. He places hand over his chest as they hit him. Michael covers his eyes as Yuji transforms into the Seven- Star Knight [ATK 5000/DEF 5000 LV 12]. They appear side by side in its mind and take to the sky.

Michael: No! Your dreams can't stop despair! It's impossible!

Yuji: Dreams are stronger than you think!

Takimaru: If we dream, there's hope.

Luna: If there's hope, we can live.

Tyson: If we live, we can help others…

Alice: Who in turn help others…

Cain: Who help others even still…

Raythe: And together, that forms a future where everyone can live.

Yuji: As long as we dream, despair will never win! Everyone!

His wings spread out. Everyone begins to glow as well.

Sir Willas: I…I feel it! Yes! My dream is to build a field of beautiful flowers!

Synchron becomes 8 rings that all four Tokens fly through, becoming 4 stars [8+ 1 + 1 + 1 + 1 = 12]. Chaos swirls around it.

Michael: The day turns to night, the world turns to darkness, the end is nigh. Wipe out the world! Limit Over Synchro Summon! Show yourself, Creator of Chaos- Feriluc!

The chaos begins to rain down even faster and in greater amounts as something is formed. A single eye opens as the monster roars [ATK 5000/DEF 5000 LV 12].

Yuji: What….is that?

Luna: What a horrible monster!

Shaman: A creature….solely made of chaos?! How can such a thing exist?!

Michael: I hope you have no regrets Seven Stars. Because you won't accomplish anything else. When my Creator is summoned, all my opponent's must discard until they each hold a card in their hand.

Raythe: What?! Are you kidding me?! [Sky Bird, Nevermore Raven, Air Shooter, Simorgh, Bird of Divinity, Wind Master]

Cain: This can't be… [Knight- In- Training, Quick Spanite, Power Supplier, Headless Knight, Trench Warfare]

Yuji: Damn….we each lose 5 cards [Clock Synchron, Wheel Synchron, Crystal Lancer, Speed Warrior, Gaia Soul the Combustible Collective]

Michael: And now that you are defenseless, let's put an end to this. My Knights, as you betrayed me, you won't get off. Creator of Chaos- Feriluc, attacks you directly Yuji! Suffer and fall into despair! Apocalypse Ray!

It fires a powerful beam of energy from its eye. Yuji looks on in horror as the attack gets closer. Raythe growls and jumps in the way, getting blasted.

Yuji: Raythe!

Raythe: Heh…sorry. I'm leaving it….up to you…. [Raythe LP = 0]

He gets blasted off the building. Everyone looks in shock as he falls towards the ground. As he falls past the building edge, someone catches his foot. He looks up and sees Yuji and Cain. The King only grins as they pull him back up.

Raythe: Sorry guys….looks like I'm beat. Man….and after all that talk. I must look like a total loser right now.

Michael: Do you see now? There is no hope for you. Only despair awaits you. There is no point in struggling. No point in fighting. Only despair. Humans are only made of despair. I learned that through my life.

Yuji: Do you ever shut up?

Chaos King: Pardon?

Yuji: That's all you're talking about. Despair. Sadness. Anger. Well I'm sick of hearing about it! You may think the world is a bitter place, but you're wrong! We're going to stop you Chaos King! You and your Creator!

Cain: I couldn't call myself a Sector Seven operative if I let you get away with this!

Yuji: Come on, let's end this!

They stare down Michael and his Creator

Episode 249: Form, Creator of Chaos- Feriluc

All around the world, the sky continues to be covered by a thick layer of chaos. Everyone looks up and freaks out, running off to any safe place. In N.T City, everyone looks up at the sky in shock. Yuji, Raythe, and Cain [Yuji LP = 3000] [Raythe LP = 4000] [Cain LP = 4000] as Michael is laughing [Chaos King LP = 5300].

Cain: No…..this is a lie…..this must be a lie! You can't be Michael! You…you died! We all saw it!

Michael: Yes. The details of my death seem to be exaggerated. You want to know how I'm still alive don't you? Don't you?

Raythe: He's playing with us….damn him.

Michael: Okay, I'll tell you. I'll tell you everything that has led to this moment. To my moment of triumph. To the destruction of the world!

He begins to laugh again.

On top of the building, Michael closes his eyes.

Michael: I am the leader of the Knights of the Elemental and the leader of Sector Seven. In my lifetime, I used both for my own advantages. One moment I was the kind and smiling leader of Sector Seven. And the other I was Chaos King, the bringer of death and destruction.

Cain: I don't believe that! You were an idol to all of us! I can't believe you could be that monster!

Michael: You're truly a fool. Every single person wears a mask to conceal their true self. As it just so happens, Chaos King is my face and Michael is my mask. I formed Sector Seven long ago, for one reason only, to end the world. That is the only goal I had then and it is the only one now.

Cain: Stop it! That can't be true!

Yuji: Cain, we don't have time to reason with him! We need to take him down as soon as possible! Turn end.

A pillar of darkness appears. Michael grins.

Michael: Almost there. Here we go, draw! I use Soul Conqueror. I destroy Mobius the Frost Monarch to draw 2 cards.

An ice pillar grows from the ground.

Michael: Now I use the Spell card Tuning. I add a Tuner monster to my hand at the cost of sending the top card of my deck to the graveyard [Urma the Ocean Monarch]. Using the effect of my Palace, I summon Ginro the Metal Monarch [ATK 2400/DEF 1000 LV 6].

Raythe: Something's odd. No intelligent duelist only has level 5 monsters. But all I've seen of him are level 5 monsters. What's going on? That can't be his whole strategy?

Michael: When Ginro the Metal Monarch is summoned, one monster on the field has its attack points reduced to 0. I choose Air Eater [ATK 0/DEF 1600 LV 6].

Raythe: No! It'll be the same as a direct attack!

Michael: I attack Air Eater with Ginro. Blade of Iron.

Yuji: I discard Fraction Shield. Now the damage Raythe takes is halved.

Ginro chops through the monster. It blows up right in front of Raythe and sends him flying back [Raythe LP = 2800]. He lies on his back and struggles to stand, vomiting blood on the ground.

Raythe: Damn….that was powerful.

Alice: Is he okay?!

Takimaru: Damn….this guy is as powerful as he claims.

Michael: Didn't I warn you? You can't duel like that. All that awaits you is to fall in battle against me. And then this entire world will fall with you. Turn end.

A great distance away, Mobius is huddled hugging his knees. Granmarg walks up and sits next to him.

Sir Mobius: Have you come to yell at me?

Sir Granmarg: No. You seem to be suffering enough self pity.

Sir Raiza: Tell me about it. I've seen cats that don't sulk as much as you.

Sir Willas: What happened to that pride of yours? You never once felt sorry for yourself. Now you look a child being blamed for spilling milk.

Sir Mobius: Be silent! You…you have no idea what this feels like! I…I served the king. I thought I was a good knight. And now….he just tossed me away as though I was trash. My entire life…a waste.

Sir Granmarg: …Yes, up to this point, it was. But what about next?

Sir Mobius: What do you mean?

Sir Granmarg: Mobius, you are still young. You've got a good 50 years ahead of you. Me? I've got 10 at best. But even though they are many things I'm not proud of in life, there are also a majority of things in life I AM proud of. Enough that on that date of my death, I can face the afterlife and say, "I'm ready."

The other Knights walk up as Granmarg continues talking.

Sir Granmarg: One part of your life doesn't determine your entire life. What determines the life you live is what you do with it. Are you going to let your life be shameful?

Sir Raiza: It's not too late. We can stop the King. We can make our lives great again.

Sir Willas: All this time we had the fake title of Knights. After today, we will be real and true Knights to fight for the people.

Sir Mobius begins to tear up and stands. He draws his sword and points. All the Knights draw their swords and put the tips in the center of a circle.

Sir Mobius: For the people!

The other Knights: For the people!

They all turn and rush towards the Sector Seven building.

Raythe: Here we go, I draw! Damn….I summon Cyclone Bomb in defense mode [ATK 0/DEF 0 LV 3]. I set a card and end my turn.

Michael: Yes, I suppose that is all you can do weakling. Your turn Cain. Will you be able to fight me?

Cain: Draw. I release my Turret Warrior and Advance Summon my Giga Warrior [ATK 2000/DEF 500 LV 5]. I equip him with Sword of Dragon's Soul [ATK 2700/DEF 500 LV 5]. I send it to the graveyard and give double the power to my monster [ATK 3400/DEF 500 LV 5]. Attack Ginro the Metal Monarch!

It cuts Ginro as it holds the attack. Michael smirks [Chaos King LP = 4300]

Michael: Pathetic. You need to do a lot better than that.

Cain: Here we go! Trap card, Mono E Mono! This forces our two monsters to do battle once more.

It slashes again and cuts through Ginro, destroying it [Chaos King LP = 3300]. A pillar made of iron emerges from the ground.

Cain: I won't forgive you. We all believed in you….and you were just using us. How dare you?! How dare you destroy everything Sector Seven stands for?!

Michael: You're a fool. I was the one who created Sector Seven. All the morals you follow….were fake from the beginning.

Cain: I can't believe that to be true! Michael….you always smiled no matter what. It gave us all hope to fight even in the bleakest of situations….can you really look at me with a straight face and say all of that was a lie?!

Michael: ….Yes. Father to Son activates at this time. I revive Urma the Ocean Monarch [ATK 2400/DEF 1000 LV 6]. When this card is summoned, one card on the field is forced back to the owner's hand. I choose your Giga Warrior.

Cain: Damn it! Michael…

Yuji: Stop it Cain. This man is not Michael anymore. He has now become Chaos King and only Chaos King. We have to show no mercy! No matter what the case, we can't let him go through with his plans.

Cain: Yuji….damn. I set a card, turn end.

Yuji: Here we go, draw. I summon Nail Driver in defense mode [ATK 200/DEF 0 LV 1]. Giga- Tech Ptera/Assault Mode attacks your Urma.

It charges and swoops past Urma spreading fire over Chaos King [Chaos King LP = 2200]

Yuji: And now his effect deals 500 points of damage!

It shoots at him as he is blasted back [Chaos King LP = 1700].

Yuji: Get ready Chaos King. I'm not going to excuse you anymore. For hurting my friends….for making them cry….I swear I'll defeat you! Turn end.

Michael: Your efforts are worth applause. But they are meaningless. As hard as you fight, you can not defeat the raw power of a god. Here we go, draw. First I use Card of Demise. This lets me draw 5 cards. Then I use The Cheerful Coffin. This lets me discard three monsters from my hand. I use Mystic Wok. This lets me release Urma and gain life points equal to her attack points.

A pillar of water shoots up as he grins [Chaos King LP = 4100].

Michael: And now that he's been destroyed, I revive one Monarch. Come on out, Granmarg the Rock Monarch [ATK 2400/DEF 1000 LV 6]. When he's summoned, a set card is destroyed. I choose your set, Cain. Next I summon Soul- Eating Synchron in defense mode [ATK 0/DEF 0 LV 4]. Granmarg attacks you directly. Let Sector Seven crush you!

Yuji: Cain!

Cain: No, let him!

The monster punches Cain and he flies back [Cain LP = 1600]. He tries to stand as he can barely move.

Tyson: Cain!

Michael: Quite a hit. Could it be you've given into despair and admitted defeat?

Cain: No…it's fine. I just couldn't fight you as the Michael I used to look up to. Now that I'm this badly hurt….that's impossible.

Michael: Keep trying. It will only earn you brief satisfaction.

The ground begins to shake. Everyone looks down as electricity shoots from the Chaos and destroys a building. Everyone begins to scream as the Seven Stars look shocked.

Michael: It's begun! The Chaos Storm will destroy everything! Chaos is the root of all distortion. Everything that was born when it was meant to die. Everything that is here when it should be here. Everything that should not exist and yet it does. As the Chaos spreads, all that distortion will affect this world. And distort it so much the world has no choice but to destroy itself. Watch as your world crumbles and succumb to despair!

More Chaos bolts fall. The people below scream when a tornado blocks it.

Michael: What?!

Sir Raiza: Whoa, close one!

Vines sprout out and block more as chunks of rock fly and block others.

Sir Willas: Almost as though playing a morbid version of some kid's game.

Sir Granmarg: Good thing we control the elements.

Michael: My Knights….what are you doing?!

Mobius creates a wall of ice to block more. The other Knights begin to use their weapons as well.

Nihility: Do you see? They no longer wanna help you.

Effigy: Maybe you shouldn't have called them tools.

Lady Urma: Uh, we could REALLY use some help here!

Yuji: Everyone, go! We've got this guy!

Takimaru: Don't worry about anything!

They run off as Luna briefly turns back.

Luna: Be careful…

The Knights continue to hold back the Chaos.

Sir Thestalos: Damn there's a lot of this stuff! Did we really collect all it?

Sir Ginro: Yes.

Sir Zaborg: Well, this must be the definition of irony.

More chaos spreads as Red- Eyes Ebony Dragon blocks some. Nihil Draco, Vesuvius Dragon, and all the Zero Synchro monsters appear.

Sir Kuraz: Well, the help is very much appreciated.

Hanson: Hey….what about us?

Sir Caius: Try to make yourselves somewhat useful.

Hunter G notices Mobius and glares

Hunter G: I don't forgive you. But right now, I have to put that aside.

He nods as Morphtronic Grandum and Siren Sergeant are summoned, also blocking the blasts.

Sir Delg: Nim, Demiurge, let's help too!

Nim: Right. I may be just a squire, but I'll fight as well!

Lady Demiurge: I won't let my brother fight this alone!

Their monsters take to the sky. Demiurge protects Kuraz as he turns and smiles at her.

Enzan: Don't forget about me! Hot Heart!

Supernova Blue Dragon appears and joins the other monsters

Michael: My Knights….how dare you betray me!?

Yuji: They didn't betray you. You betrayed them. This is what you deserve for treating your friends like that!

Raythe: Heh heh. Now that that's taken care of, we can go buck wild on this guy! Her we go, draw! I summon Sonic Chick [ATK 300/DEF 200 LV 1]. As there is a Winged- Beast monster on the field, I Special Summon my Heaven's Condor [ATK 1800/DEF 1000 LV 4]. I tune my level 4 Heaven's Condor, level 1 Sonic Chick, and level 3 Cyclone Bomb.

Condor becomes 4 rings that Chick and Bomb fly through, becoming 4 stars [4 + 1 + 3 = 8]

Raythe: Winds of bravery and power unite together to create a windstorm of new hope. Synchro Summon! Appear, Great Condor Ezikiel [ATK 3000/DEF 2500 LV 8].

Michael: Ho. One of the Seven- Star Knight's parts.

Raythe: I shouldn't have to show it to scum like you. But I need to in order to win. Battle! Ezikiel attacks your Soul- Eating Synchron.

The monster is destroyed.

Michael: The first time Soul- Eating Synchron is destroyed, he returns to my deck.

Raythe: Trap card, Wind Buster. If I defeat a monster, I destroy another monster. Bye, Granmarg.

It blows up as a pillar of rock appears.

Michael: Father to Son lets me bring back Thestalos the Firestorm Monarch [ATK 2400/DEF 1000 LV 6]. When this card is summoned, one card in my foe's hand is destroyed. If it was a monster, they lose 100 life points for each level that monster had. Cain, the only card in your hand is the level 5 Giga Warrior.

The monster appears as it is burned up. Cain screams as the fire engulfs him for a second [Cain LP = 1100]

Raythe: Damn….I messed up. Sorry Cain. Turn end.

Cain: Don't….worry. All this is doing….is making me want to kill this guy even more! Here we go, I draw! I use Graceful Charity. I draw 3 cards and discard one. Now for my Trap, Narrow Escape. This lets me summon a monster sent from my hand straight to the graveyard. Come on back, Duke of Divine Hearts [ATK 3300/DEF 1400 LV 8]. I attack your monster.

It charges and cuts the monster, but it isn't destroyed. Michael tenses up and gasps [Chaos King LP = 3200].

Cain: Like I said. I'm not letting you off easily. Not after all the people you've betrayed. And I'll show even you. The person called Michael that you claim is nothing but a mask is more of you than you think! Turn end.

Yuji: Here we go everyone! Draw! I Special Summon my Power Warrior by halving his attack and defense points [ATK 2000-1000/DEF 0 LV 4]. As that was a Special Summon, I can still Normal Summon. I release Power Warrior and Nail Driver to Advance Summon my Void Dragon [ATK 2500/DEF 2000 LV 8].

Alice: They've all got their main monsters out.

Nim: Please….don't lose.

Sir Raiza: Don't worry kid. Those guys are tough.

Sir Willas: Indeed. I know we can entrust our safety to then. How laughable though. We're cheering for the enemy now.

Sir Raiza: Ha ha. Yeah, now that you mention it, it does seem kinda weird. Though…I've got no complaints.

Sir Willas: Quite.

Yuji: Get ready Chaos King. This turn, you die! Void Dragon attacks your Monarch. Black Hole Beam!

It fires the beam as the monster stands the blow [Chaos King LP = 3100]

Yuji: And now an attack from Giga- Tech Ptera!

It charges through the monster and blows it up [Chaos King LP = 2000]. A pillar of fire emerges.

Effigy: Hey….you getting that sinking feeling in your gut? Like….oh crap?

Jack: Yeah….something about that thing ain't right. I mean….really not right.

Michael: …Since another Monarch was destroyed, I revive Raiza the Storm Monarch [ATK 2400/DEF 1000 LV 6]. This lets me take your monster and return it to the top of your deck. Bye, Giga- Tech Ptera.

Yuji: Don't think so! Trap card, Assault Out! By releasing Giga- Tech Ptera/Assault Mode, I revive the original Giga- Tech Ptera [ATK 3000/DEF 2500 LV 8]. Now attack!

It charges and hits the monster, charging through it [Chaos King LP = 1400]. A pillar of wind appears.

Michael: Damn….Father to Son won't activate now. But….

Yuji: Turn end. 9 pillars…I don't like the looks of this.

Michael: This has been fun…but now it ends. Here we go, draw. I use Card of Sanctity. This lets us all draw until we hold 6 cards. Heh heh. Now I use Monster Reborn. This lets me revive one monster. Come back, Kuraz the Light Monarch [ATK 2400/DEF 1000 LV 6]. The effect of Palace lets his effect activate. I destroy Father to Son and Position of Power.

Raythe: His own Traps? Why?!

Michael: This lets me draw 2 cards. Next I use Tribute to the Doomed. I discard a card [Demiurge Ema] and destroy Kuraz.

He grins as a pillar of light appears. The ground shakes as the palace blows up.

Cain: What?!

Michael: Palace can be released. For each Monarch destroyed, a Monarch Counter is placed on it. If there are less than 5, I destroy that many cards on my opponent's field. If I have more than 5, I get to summon any number of Monarch Pillar Tokens to the field [ATK 0/DEF 0 LV 1 each]. I summon 4 Tokens and destroy Giga- Tech Ptera, Void Dragon, Duke of Divine Hearts, and Great Condor Ezikiel.

Raythe: No….all of our monsters!

Michael: And now I summon the Soul- Eating Synchron you sent back to my deck [ATK 0/DEF 0 LV 1]. Now for his effect. For every card in my graveyard I remove from play, he gains a level [Father to Son, Position of Power, Mystic Wok, Demiurge Ema]. [ATK 0/DEF 0 LV 8]

Cain: It can't be….

Hey guys. Just letting you know what's been going on. Recently, my Internet was knocked out, which is why I've been rather inactive as of late. Even now I'm using a different connection, so I don't have long. That's also the reason why I haven't been able to post episodes lately, but I'm working on them now so I can post them as soon as I get my Internet back. Don't worry, I'm sure it won't take long, but I'm just letting you know what's what basically.

Episode 248: The Final Battle!

In N.T City, everyone is hiding in the bunkers. Some of the younger kids are crying. Jinji and his father are huddled. Yuji's mother is all by herself and looks up through a window.

Yuji's mother: Yuji….

Her eyes widen when the night sky begins to blacken.

Yuji's mother: What….?

The moon is covered as Chaos covers the sky all around the world.

Kiwa: What's going on?!

Ivan: Nihility….you failed I see….

Raika looks up in the mountains.

Raika: The end is near….

Chaos King sits in the castle laughing as the cards spiral around him.

Chaos King: Everything has fit perfectly! Using these Creators and all this Chaos, I will create a storm that will erase this world!

He continues to laugh as everyone looks on in shock.

Opening [recap of last movie. Imperius captures the Shenzu Comet. Disasters happen all over time and all six protagonists are flung into the future. They meet the rebels and clash with Imperius twice. Everyone then storms the castle and breaks inside. Eva and Stephen are both killed as all six break into the throne room. All six prepare to battle against Imperius as all their Duel Disks activate]

Chaos King stands up as all the Creator cards fall to the ground. Chaos King holds the card in his hand and laughs again.

Chaos King: After all these years…the ultimate card is mine. The end of the world…is finally in my hands!

Cain: So….you wanted us to fight!? You tricked us all into coming here in order to do battle!

Chaos King: And you fell for it so easily. It was almost too easy actually. Don't worry. You won't be around to witness the end of the world. Consider it a final parting gift to you.

Sir Mobius: My king…this is a lie, right?! You have some other purpose for us don't you?! You aren't just going to destroy us are you?!

Chaos King: I am very sorry. You all have served me so well. It truly breaks my heart, but this is where we part ways.

He holds up his card as Chaos continues to swirl around it.

Yuji: Everyone!

A powerful blast of Chaos fires at them. A wide view of the castle shows a huge chunk of it blown off. The King stands there and turns around.

Chaos King: Fare thee well. I have other matters to attend to. Perhaps I'll have a ceremony in your honor later.

He vanishes in a swirl of Chaos. He reappears on top of Sector Seven in N.T City and holds his arms up.

Man: Who's that?

Man 2: What's going on? The sky is gone.

Yuji's mother: That's that man! Chaos King!

Ientio: What? What does he want?

Chaos King: Everyone, can you hear me? Please do not panic. But the promised day is at hand. In exactly one hour, I'll destroy the world. I hope you made the best out of your time. But it is time to say your final goodbyes.

Man: Please don't!

Everyone begins to protest as Chaos King only laughs.

Chaos King: Pitiful! You treat life as though it is a bargaining chip! Now, when you are about to lose it, you treasure it. Just like foolish, stupid humans.

Yuji's mother: You're wrong. Humans always treasure life. You have no right to take that away!

Chaos King: Oh my. What a brave woman you are. Most people would not dare act this way to me. I ought to murder you for such a thing.

Yuji's mother: You won't succeed. Yuji and the others are going to stop you! Just wait and see.

Chaos King: ….Sorry to disappoint. But I regret to inform you that the Seven Stars are already dead.

Yuji's mother: You lie!

Chaos King: The truth is a hard thing to admit. Marina Ryos, do not despair. I will put you out of your misery. After all, losing both a husband and son must be hard. Farewell.

He holds his right hand with the card in it and Chaos concentrates in the center of his palm. The Chaos fires out as a powerful stream of energy that hurtles towards her. She gasps and tries to move as the blast gets closer. Suddenly, light shines and blocks the blast of Chaos, dissolving it. Everyone looks shocked as the light streaks towards the top of the building.

Chaos King: What is this?!

Yuji: Looks like you failed after all, Chaos King.

The light fades as the Seven Stars, their comrades, and the Knights emerge.

Chaos King: But…you should be dust right now! ….I see. It was the power of the Seven Star Knight that saved you.

Raythe: Hmph. No crap.

Chaos King fires at them in the past as all the Zero Synchro monsters glow. Light radiates from them as they travel away from the castle before the blast hits.

Hanson: What's going on?! Where are we?! Stop!

Hunter G: Shut up! Stop freaking out! It's freaking me out.

Tyson: Could this be because of our Zero Synchro monsters?

Alice: Amazing.

Takimaru: How can this be happening? This doesn't make any sense.

Enzan: Hey, we just got saved! I don't mind!

The light streaks over the ocean as everyone freaks out.

Sir Delg: How is this happening?!

Sir Caius: The power of the Seven Stars must be doing this. Guiding them to fight against our King.

Effigy: How is all that even possible?

Nihility: Just shut up and listen.

Effigy: Fine….

Cain: So in the end it all comes down to us again.

As they enter the city, the light blocks the Chaos blast again and appears on the roof. The King stays silent before laughing again.

Chaos King: Interesting! I should have expected more from you! But what are you going to do? My Chaos Storm is spreading over the entire world. And in my hand, I hold the key to stopping it. A Creator I made using Chaos and the other 10 Creator cards. How do you puny humans plan on stopping me?

Yuji: We've taken on guys tougher than you. I'm going to put a stop to you, Chaos King!

Raythe: Hmph. All by yourself? I think that's greedy. Taking all the credit.

Yuji: Raythe.

Cain: This guy's made fools out of all of us. I won't let him go for that.

Yuji: Cain too?

Chaos King: Aha ha ha! Interesting! Yuji Ryos, Raythe Nakago, Cain McKnight. You three might be enough. I agree! Let's fight!

Luna: Hold on! What about us?!

Shaman: You're really going to fight?

Yuji: We don't have a choice. This guy's going to destroy the whole world otherwise.

Raythe: Hmph! No way he's going to get away with that. I'll blow him away.

Cain: Leave this guy to us. You guys need to focus on protecting the city. After all, he ordered Michael to be killed. I won't excuse that!

Takimaru: …Damn. Guess I'm sitting this one out again.

Alice: Don't worry, we'll protect the city.

Tyson: You just leave it to us!

Effigy: Demoted huh? Oh well.

She hands him back his coat as he puts it on. He, Raythe and Cain walk forward, activating their Duel Disks.

Cain: Here we go.

Raythe: Don't slow me down.

Yuji: Same to you.

Chaos King: What will win I wonder? My despair or your hope? Let's find out then!

He draws a stick from his back. Suddenly, he also draws 7 swords from his back sheathes and sticks them onto the stick, forming a Duel Disk.

Raythe: Show off.

Chaos King: Now gentlemen. Let's get right to it. Go!

Everyone else stands by as Mobius slowly stands and walks off in a slump. Granmarg turns and notices. He nudges both Raiza and Willas.

Sir Raiza: What old man?

Sir Willas: Mobius?

All three nod and follow. Chaos forms a ring around the four duelists.

Chaos King: You have an hour to win. Let's see if you can!

Luna: Good luck everyone!

Yuji's mother: That's Yuji up there! Please….come back safely!

Raythe: Hmph! All three of us at once? Face it you bast ard! You don't stand a chance! I draw. I summon Hun Angel [ATK 2000/DEF 0 LV 4]. Then I set two cards and end my turn.

Cain: Not a bad start. Since this is 3 on 1, the key is to swarm him with monsters. I draw. I use Reinforcement of the Army. This lets me add a Warrior monster to my hand from my deck. Next I summon Medusa Knight [ATK 1800/DEF 1000 LV 4]. I set a card face down and end my turn.

Yuji: My turn, draw! I summon Slipstream Warrior [ATK 1700/DEF 1000 LV 4]. By removing this card from play when summoned, I draw 2 cards. As I drew Tuning Piece, he Special Summons himself [ATK 800/DEF 600 LV 2]. I set three cards and end my turn. Your move Chaos King!

Chaos King: Nice combos. I should have expected as much. But it won't be enough. Your attempts to fight are useless. Draw. I use Painful Choice. Now I select five monsters from my deck. I choose these five [Mobius the Frost Monarch, Zaborg the Thunder Monarch, Thestalos the Firestorm Monarch, Granmarg the Rock Monarch, and Caius the Shadow Monarch]

Cain: That makes no sense. Why all level 6 monsters?

Raythe: He must be planning something…

Yuji: Nothing to worry about yet. I choose Caius the Shadow Monarch.

Chaos King: Then these cards go to the grave. Now I use the Field Spell card Palace of the Divine Monarchs.

An acropolis appears from the ground. Ten hollow holes appear on it.

Chaos King: If I have no monsters on my field, all Monarch monsters can be summoned with one less Tribute.

Yuji: So that his goal! It wasn't to do with a specific card!

Chaos King: Now I summon Caius the Shadow Monarch [ATK 2400/DEF 1000 LV 6]. When this card is summoned, I remove a card on the field from play. If it was a DARK monster, 1000 points of damage are dealt to the opponent. I remove Tuning Piece, a DARK monster.

Yuji screams in pain as electricity shocks him [Yuji LP = 3000]

Raythe: A physical blow?!

Chaos King: Not bad. Not good enough though. I use Quick Summon. This lets me summon a monster. Palace lets me summon a Monarch without Tributes. However, it limits me to no more than two monsters on the field at a time. I summon Willas the Forest Monarch [ATK 2400/DEF 1000 LV 6]. When this card is summoned, I regain 1000 life points [Chaos King LP = 12000].

Yuji: The damage I dealt…

Chaos King: As a Knight should, it helps its King. I set two cards. Turn end.

Raythe: Now that turn 1 is over, we're allowed to battle. Heh. Get ready for me you vile bast ard! I'll show you my power! Here we go, draw! I release Hun Angel to Advance Summon my Air Eater [ATK 2100/DEF 1600 LV 6]. Now I use the Spell card Silver Contrails. This raises the attack points of a level 6 or higher WIND monster by 1000 until the end of the turn. I choose Air Eater [ATK 3100/DEF 1600 LV 6].

Cain: Nice!

Raythe: Now attack Caius the Shadow Monarch! Suffocation Drain!

Chaos King: Trap card, Position of Power. Once per turn, if my level 5 or higher monster is attacked, I can negate its destruction by battle once.

The wind hits Caius and diffuses around it. The King hisses briefly [Chaos King LP = 11300]

Raythe: Damn. That failed. Turn end [ATK 2100/DEF 1600 LV 6].

Cain: We almost got him. Draw. I release Medusa Knight and Special Summon my Turret Warrior [ATK 1200/DEF 2000 LV 5]. When summoned by releasing a Warrior type monster, he gains the attack points of that monster [ATK 3000/DEF 2000 LV 5]. Next I summon Command Knight [ATK 1200/DEF 1900 LV 4]. She gives all Warrior type monsters 400 attack points [ATK 1600/DEF 1900 LV 4] [ATK 3400/DEF 2000 LV 5]. And that's not all! I equip Command Knight with Fusion Sword Murasame Blade. This raises her attack points by 800 [ATK 2400/DEF 1900 LV 4]. Battle! Turret Warrior attacks Caius the Shadow Monarch. Revolving Shot!

Chaos King: Have you forgotten? Trap card, Position of Power. My monster isn't destroyed.

The bullets hit it and also burn the King. He hisses again as his mask begins to crack [Chaos King LP = 10300].

Cain: Heh. Command Knight, battle Willas the Forest Monarch!

It charges forward and tackles Willas, destroying both.

Yuji: Good strategy. Position of Power only protects one monster per turn.

Chaos King: …Not bad. But now the combo is complete. De to Palace, Willas is removed from play instead of going to the graveyard. Trap card, Father to Son! When a monster on my field is removed from play, I can summon one monster from my graveyard. This is counted as a Normal Summon. I revive Zaborg the Thunder Monarch [ATK 2400/DEF 1000 LV 5]. Using his effect, I destroy your Turret Warrior.

Lightning destroys it as Cain backs away. Yuji turns and notices a pillar of trees appearing on the acropolis.

Cain: Trap card, Call of the Haunted. This brings back Turret Warrior [ATK 1200/DEF 2000 LV 5]. Turn end.

Yuji: No, it's there. I'm not imagining it there. The question is what is that pillar for….Here we go, I draw! Slipstream Warrior now returns after vanishing during my last turn [ATK 1700/DEF 1000 LV 4]. Next I summon Satellite Blaster [ATK 1700/DEF 1000 LV 4]. I tune my level 4 Satellite Blaster and level 4 Slipstream Warrior.

Blaster becomes 4 rings that Warrior flies through, becoming 4 stars [4 + 4 = 8]

Yuji: Synchro Summon! Swoop from the sky, Giga- Tech Ptera [ATK 3000/DEF 2500 LV 8].

Chaos King: I see. The monster that can attack other monsters.

Yuji: Here we go, battle! Giga- Tech Ptera attacks Caius the Shadow Monarch!

Chaos King: The effect of Position of Power negates its destruction.

Ptera plows into it, almost knocking it back [Chaos King LP = 9700]

Yuji: And Ptera can attack a second time. I attack Zaborg the Thunder Monarch!

Ptera plows through and destroys it. [Chaos King LP = 9100] A pillar of thunder appears on the Palace.

Yuji: No doubt about it. I saw it.

Chaos King: Father to Son lets me revive a monster. I choose Mobius the Frost Monarch [ATK 2400/DEF 1000 LV 6]. When this card is summoned, I can destroy 2 set cards. Say farewell!

Yuji: No!

Raythe: Trap card, Azure Hurricane. Mobius is not destroyed this turn, but its effect is negated.

Yuji: Thanks for the save.

Chaos King: Hmph. No big deal.

Yuji: Now I can attack Mobius as well.

It plows into Mobius as it still stands. The King screams as his mask cracks even more [Chaos King LP = 8500]

Yuji: You're not getting off that easily! Trap card, Assault Mode Activate.

Ptera becomes surrounded by fire and transforms [ATK 3500/DEF 3000 LV 9]

Chaos King: No….another monster?!

Yuji: Battle! Ptera can also attack two monsters! I attack Mobius first.

It charges Mobius as the King screams in pain [Chaos King LP = 7400]

Chaos King: H-Hold on!

Yuji: And now I attack.

It charges Mobius as the King screams in pain [Chaos King LP = 7400]

Chaos King: H-Hold on!

Yuji: And now I attack your Caius!

It is charged through as well [Chaos King LP = 6300]

Chaos King: Stop….

Yuji: And at the end of this turn, Ptera deals 500 points of damage to each monster he battle.

It shoots at Chaos King and he flies backwards [Chaos King LP = 5300]

Man: Go for it!

Man 2: Take em down!

Yuji's mother: That's my son.

Luna: They're doing really well.

Takimaru: Yeah…..but it can't be that easy.

Yuji: Sorry. We can't afford to be gentle.

Raythe: And since Father to Son only works once per turn, we'll run you out of monsters soon.

Cain: You're going to pay for all you've done! Especially killing Michael!

He begins to laugh as his mask continues to break.

Raythe: Oh, I didn't hear the joke. What's funny?

Chaos King: Humans as a whole. You have the most ridiculous reasons for fighting.

Yuji: And how is fighting for a lost one so stupid?

Chaos King: I think that would be obvious. For you see….

He begins to pull of pieces of his mask. Everyone's expression remains the same and then it turns to shock and horror.

Alice: No….

Tyson: That's impossible!

Nihility: It can't be…

Effigy: Whoa….this is a joke right? Some kind of sick joke!?

Shaman; No….it's the truth.

Cain seems the most shocked as Chaos King grins, showing his real face.

Michael: Yes….you humans are fighting for a reason that doesn't exist.

40 minutes until the end

Ending [recap. All six battle against Imperius using their man monsters against his powerful ones. In the end, he summons Comet Overlord Dragon Shenzu and brings them all to 100 life each. They summon Kizuna Warrior and defeat him. Shenzu appears and changes the past so none of it happens]
