Here's the stupidity with the new format of E3, they relocate to cut cost so smaller company could have a stand, but they only invite major publishing houses & know semi independent developers like valve or ID.

I agree that having a bunch of dumb game store employees running warranted filtering the audience, but not at this level

Bet they'll talk more about their stock portfolio than actual games and technology

The ESRB is useless and full of policality-correct **** they're just a "feel good bout yourself" division of the ESA the main videogame lobby.

The whole issue to do a little censorship so hypocrits in washington doesn't respond to mainstream media BS and label videogame besides alchohol, hard drugs and smokes.

It's useless outside the U.S, Europeans & Asians have their own standard. In canada nobody gives a damn about censorship, hell most teenager have sexual relations at 14-16 so what the point, plus any thirteen year old kid can watch SAW3, so they've seen violence in more detail and probably had some sort sex, but woe is me it's "evil".

In the old days Developers used to recommend playing age themselves, now they send footage of the game (along with a couple benj) to the ESRB, WOW effective. And all the while they give **** about educating parents on gaming choices, right we're all dumb.

But then videogames are still a taboo, like sex and violence

Such as the upcoming Steam Community....which will DEFINITELY be a far better alternative to Live! for PC.....when Valve announced this I literally breathed a sigh of relief knowing that there is now an alternative Live! for PC, one that will most likely be more attactive to both PC gamers and PC developers looking for a unified delivery and online service over Live! for PC.

Robnyc22

Valve had steam running in 2003 and beta in 2001-2002, even before XBL. WTF was that **** about Live for windows

the key to running steam is to install it before anything else, never install with a DVD when dealing with a steam game, just register your key and download the game.

Once up and running however you'll never have to worry bout anything. It's a great program, best of it's kind and no doubt bout that.

make backup of your game so when you reinstall windows, swicth system or whatever you can be up and running in no time

Personnaly i keep my 360 for the media center functionality. With a TV tuner i can schedule auto recording of every show i like on cable and satelite.

The 360 can some more extra thing than just game, kind of sad because it's really a great system, PC gaming is just better. but the 360 is a great multimedia tool

Extract the archived file and change "scope zoom factor" value for each weapons to 90(none) makes it alot more enjoyable
