More Harry Potter stuff: Deathly Hallows

Okay, I actually did finish the 7th book yesterday, (only took me about a day: with sleep of course) but I wasn't on, so I couldn't really do a blog post. I'm not gonna give anything away, but I just have to say: IT WAS AWESOME!!! :D

It actually did make me laugh out loud a few times, and then other times, I felt like I was on the verge of tears. Of course, my heart started pounding in my ears at some parts, (like that with all the books)and it made me read even faster. I felt...kinda like I was watching the movie instead of reading the book, because I could see it to clearly in my head.I loved it.

Prisoner of Azkaban was and still is probably my favorite of all the books and so far the movies as well, (part of that reason is because that's when we met Sirius) but this one was just simply amazing; at least a very, very close second. Then again, I've loved all the books. :P So sad the series is over though; I've been a fan for over 8 years now. I knew this day had to come sometime...:( And techinically we still have more Harry Potter stuff to come until 2010, when the last movie comes out...

Harry Potter *spoiler alert*

Just saw Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix today. I thought that it was pretty good, but I also thought that it could be better. I suppose that since the 5th book is the longest, that they can't exactly have EVERY single detail in it.

The things that disappointed me:

-No Quidditch match which was not central to the plot, but it would've explained more why Harry hated Umbridge, since she banned him and the Weasely twins from it. (And Ron would've been in it, which would've been very entertaining).

- Even though it did show the Weasely twins leave the school, they did not turn the school into a swamp. (Very funny part in the book).

- No scene where it showed the memory with James, Lily,Sirius,Lupin, Peterand Snape. Sort of did, but it didn't show Lily stopping James from doing what he did to Snape.

Things I really liked:

- The special effects were amazing (as usual).

- It actually showed Dumbledore's Army, (which I was most looking forward to).

- For the most part, it followed the book. and it annoys the hell outta me when books don't.

- It did have its funny moments. Some of the humor seemed to be very subtle, but I actually got it.

So far, the third book, and the third movie (Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban) have been both my favorites...just thought I'd add that in.

bored as hell xP

I've definately been losing A LOT of interest in this site the past couple months..maybe longer...I don't remember.

Also, my California trip was canceled. Please don't ask why, I'm really tired of explaining. I'll just say that we can't stay with the people that we were gonna stay with anymore. Of course, at first, I wasvery upset, but I've managed to get over it. Dad said that we might get to go to Walt Disney World next year, so I know that I'll be okay. :DWish me luck on getting that to come true, seeing as I've wanted to go there, since I heard that that place EXISTED , which was about 10 or 11 or maybe even more years ago.

I've seen 3 movies just in the past 2 weeks: Evan Almighty, Ratatouille and Transformers. Loved them all! Then, I get to see Harry Potter and the Order Of the Phoenix, sometime next week which, I am also very excited about. I've been a fan since I was about 8, so it'll be exciting as well to see the 7th, and final book come out on the 21st..I think. I don't honestly remember when it comes out exactly... I want most to know if my favorite couples end up together (Harry/Ginny and Ron/Hermione)...and if they even all survive. I hope so..but who knows...

So anyways...how are you all?

Summer...

I've barely done anything since shool's been out. It sucks. :(

I pretty much have nothing to do til August...though one of my friends said we might hang out after she gets back from Arizona. I hope so....

I do like summer, but I have to say, that I will be happy when we go back to school. It at least gives me something to do during the day. Unlike what I did today, which consisted of watching TV, listening to music, playing Final Fantasy for awhile, and now I'm watching "The Ballad Of Ricky Bobby" with Will Ferrel. It's actually pretty funny.

I don't care what you say, just please comment. I like randomness, so I don't care if you put the most random thing on the frickin' planet.

So...how are you guys doing? :)

bored. bored, bored...but happier now

I haven't done much of anything, in the past 9 days of my summer vacation. I am happier now, because I found out that the friend who would've probably moved, isn't anymore...That's never happened to me. When they said they were gonna move, they did. I also got my report card (after they held it hostage for like 2 days 'cause I didn't turn in a library book  ) and am so so so happy that I actually passed everything. I feel so lucky because I thought that I failed english for sure...but I got a C. So, my grades were: 4 A's, 3 C's and 1 B. I am quite pleased with those results. So...I guess I should be happy, but eh....I could be better. :?

This is a random post, so I'll name it: RANDOM STUFF!!!

Surprisingly, I loved the last day of school. Not when I was there, especially since I had to take my math final (*yawn*...I think that I did pretty well though) and my Tech Apps final (which was just too easy...so it wasn't that bad. I spent most of the time on the internet. That's where I did my last blog post :D). I thought for sure that I'd be kinda depressed, as I always am at the very end of the year...I was right, I was.

I did love the end of it however, because me and like 7 of my friends just hung out for about 4 hours afterwards. We went to McDonalds (I just ate my friend's fries....teehee) and we saw a lot of freshman and sophomores that we knew. (Then about an hour later, all the little middle schoolers came in). We were there for like literally 3 hours. One of my friends had a T-Shirt that she had us all sign and we sat down at this table and were just coloring it. One of my other friends, wrote the name of the guy that I like though, which if the first friend wore that to school, and he saw it, it'd be very awkward. (He knew I liked him and that I'm her friend..so...yeah). I was a bit sad that I won't get to see him for 3 months, but hopefully I'll stop liking him. (I have for over a year now, so it's a bit tiring).

Then after 4 of them had to leave, the rest of us went to the park of our old elementary school for about an hour. (Well, 3 of us went there anyways....ahhh...elementary school, the good old days). My dad was home when I got home about 3 hours later then I planned to (he came home for lunch) and I thought that he'd be mad, but surprisingly, he wasn't. I think that he had a feeling that I was gonna be late.

Anyways, it turns out that I'm not the only one going somewhere during the summer. One's going to Idaho (and might be moving there  ), one to Arizona, and one to California. (She said that she's going there like a month before me, which I am jealous that I have to wait longer, but that just gives me more time to save up, to possiblybuy something at Disneyland :D).

Okay, that's all for now.

last day of school!!!

I don't feel like doing this big long post, so I'm just stopping in to say: IT'S MY LAST DAY OF SCHOOL!!! Which I am happy about, especially since I get to go to California and Vegas in 2 months!!! Woot!!! :D But I am also sad, because that means that I don't get to see ym friends til September.

Okay, that's all for now. So, how are you all doing?

I can't think of a title!!!

 Anyways, I know that I did a blog yesterday, and that I usually wait a few days, but. . . I've been thinking more and more about the rest of my high school career.

Can someone fill me in on what Sophomore, Junior and Senior year are like? I've heard that freshman year= you're just starting out, so..nothing really happens. (which I kinda agree with), sophomore year= the most boring, cuz you've already been there a year, so you know what everthing is like, but you don't have much to do, junior year= the most fun, for some reason, I'm not sure why, and senior year= the hardest cuz they challenge you more.

I didn't just think that up. That's just what people have told me.

Anyways, I did have another good day, for the most part. :D How are you all doing? (I know that I always say that, but I just think that it's nice to do.)

Hey ya'll

I just discovered that it's been a few days since I've been on here. Today...I liked. They made all the freshman write letters for our senior selves. Some of my friends are writing more than one. I swear that some of them are gonna go crazy with all the letter writing. ^_^

They made all the freshman go outside for one big group picture as well. It was kinda fun to get to go outside in the nice weather. I just hated that it was about 90 degrees outside. I asked a sophomore what the rest of the school was dong, and he said that they were listening to the senior board. Boring! I liked being able to see my friends before lunch though.

The eighth graders also visited us...and I saw all my old teachers. I didn't get a chance to say hi though, which I was kinda mad about. :(

Anyways, for the most part, today was good for me. How are all of you doing?

Graduation

I've come to a realization that my freshman year is already nearly over. I just cannot believe that I've only got less then 3 weeks left, and then only 3 more years of High School.

Of course, the teachers pick the end of the year to shove more assignments down our throats. I mean, in the next 3 weeks, I've got to do a poster on an animal (I picked wolves. Not my fave animal, but I've already done like 3 speeches on my fave in the past [tigers])and give a speech on it, give another speech in health about pilates (Our teacher handed out cards mumber 1-22, and of course, I happen to pick #20, so there wasn't much of a choice after the first 19 picked theirs)and I have to do a project on a book for english. (No speech, thank god).I apologize for my complaing, but I hate it when teachers decided to make you worry about so many things just before school gets out.

This song, Graduation by Vitamin C, reminds me of how me and my friends only have a few years left. :o

And so we talked all night about the rest of our lives
Where we're gonna be when we turn 25
I keep thinking times will never change
Keep on thinking things will always be the same
But when we leave this year we won't be coming back
No more hanging out cause we're on a different track
And if you got something that you need to say
You better say it right now cause you don't have another day
Cause we're moving on and we can't slow down
These memories are playing like a film without sound
And I keep thinking of that night in June
I didn't know much of love
But it came too soon
And there was me and you
And then we got real blue
Stay at home talking on the telephone
We would get so excited and we'd get so scared
Laughing at ourselves thinking life's not fair
And this is how it feels

As we go on
We remember
All the times we
Had together
And as our lives change
Come Whatever
We will still be
Friends Forever

So if we get the big jobs
And we make the big money
When we look back now
Will our jokes still be funny?
Will we still remember everything we learned in school?
Still be trying to break every single rule
Will little brainy Bobby be the stockbroker man?
Can Heather find a job that won't interfere with her tan?
I keep, I keep thinking that it's not goodbye
Keep on thinking it's a time to fly
And this is how it feels

La, la, la, la:
Yeah, yeah, yeah
La, la, la, la:
We will still be friends forever

Will we think about tomorrow like we think about now?
Can we survive it out there?
Can we make it somehow?
I guess I thought that this would never end
And suddenly it's like we're women and men
Will the past be a shadow that will follow us 'round?
Will these memories fade when I leave this town
I keep, I keep thinking that it's not goodbye
Keep on thinking it's a time to fly

So..how are you all doing? :)
