I've gotten aggravated with games before but never to the point of breaking my own controller. If a game is frustrating me I'll just shut it off and do something else. Usually when I pick it back up later I get over whatever was bothering me.
I'm glad I never bought Assassin's Creed. I borrowed it from a friend and managed to make it through all the repetition. I even got up to 980 GS but there is no way in hell I'm going to replay that for my missing 20 GS. As for my games, there's nothing I regret buying. The closest thing I could think of would be Ultimate Alliance/Forza 2 but since those came with the Xbox it doesn't really count.
It's getting close to a year now for me and I haven't run into any troubles yet. My friend who has a launch system never got the RRoD but his DVD drive kicked the bucket about 3 months ago so he had to get that repaired. Other than that nobody else I personally know have had any problems with their systems.
Final Fantasy XI. Getting to 75 on all jobs, clearing all expansions, and getting rank 10 with everyone would take a ridiculous amount of time. You might be able to reach the halfway point when the next Xbox comes out.
