Hey, thanks for helping out with this. I've not played any of these three games, and to be honest, they all look fantastic.
Just to give you an idea, I'm a pretty casual gamer, but I like most genres. I'm always up for something different; on the other hand, I've always checked out the Marios and Zeldas every generation.
So, what would you advise? Any help would be great.
I haven't played FSA and I'm not sure if I will, I don't know many people who would be willing to play a game like that and I don't think it's worth it for the 1P mode.
It is, but bear in mind that I come from the early 80's gen of gaming. I enjoy 2d games, and I value gameplay much more highly over graphics. It's a matter of opinion, I got my copy used for 10 US dollars and so far it's worth every penny.
Bought it the other day, and it's excellent single player. A lot of stuff I didn't remember from old games make an appearance, it's great to see fun 2d games are still being made.
Hey guys. I'm thinking about picking up a used copy of 4 swords adventures, as it's the only console zelda I have yet to play (other than LttP). Two concerns:
1) I'll be playing it single player; unfortunately, I am the only nintendo geek of my buddies.
2) Reviews don't rate the game too highly.
All in all, I'm totally fine with the whole "start over" aspect of every level; also, I've been gaming since the 80's, so 2D doesn't bother me in the slightest. What do you pros think about it? Does it deserved to be shelved alongside the other LoZ classics?
Definitely. I can't fault Nintendo for delaying the GC version...after all, they are first and foremost a business. Now, if they were to cancel it altogether, on the other hand.... *shakes fist wildly*
