[QUOTE="teebeenz"][QUOTE="w7w7w7w7w7"]That's uncompressed, it will expand after install.gizmo_logixNo, it wont. As with all games itll load the data into memory when it needs it. Itll take 0 more space than the base data requires. Actually, not "zero." It will uncompress what it needs and then re-compresses it when it doesn't need it. I remember reading that few day ago from the one of the devs. We'll find out soon enough once the DL game is out. Well, you're wrong, or every other game is wrong... you choose.
I don't know, I thought I read that somewhere, I guess not.Ammo87The whole playing free vs fee isnt such a good idea.

Are you serious? One person? Wow, can't they get some more people?SavageM2Youve got to remember than MS has a system to how they develop products. First step is to get into a market as easily as possible, that means modifying on the shelf parts, adapting an existing product or buying a product and renaming it. Next they market it to hell and back. Doesnt matter if its good or not its the brand which matters. Next they make a proper product, but tie it to windows to make sure they hold the market. You can apply this to dozens of MS's product including the xbox. They dont really care about the xbox, as can be seen by how fast they dumped support for it. They want people thinking about the now.
I thought they needed 800 megs on the hard drive for the cache? i think the game is much bigger than that. The cache would be used in the same way they use it in RFOM. To make the levels load faster. Either way, i dont think that 800 megs is the total amount for the game....tfaaThe devs themselves confirmed 800megs is the whole game. They said theyd been working on the compression for some time to make sure it was as small as possible so it took little space, and downloaded quickly. Its important to remember than while the average PC lacks the horse power to use advanced compression, the PS3 is well suited to it. The average joe still uses zip for christs sake, theyd probably have a fit if they saw the compression they could get with WinRK and such, tho of course their PCs would be working for days :)
Does the disc version help you save space on your HDD? Or does the game download from the disc to the HDD?Star67Itll probably just load off the disk, but 800megs isnt much if it dumps it all on the drive. Oh, and while Im at it... download was the wrong term.
Take out the motherboard, and put a new one in.do any of you know how to change the MAC address on the ps3?

I just feel its kind of weird to pay 60 dollars for a game thats smaller than a demo from the psn storepeter360You're not paying 60bucks. 60bucks is for a game and a 20+ buck headset, just buy it off PSN if thats to much.
