I still don't understand, why would Sony be in a better position to drop prices than MS????????????Darth_Tigris
Sonys more than halved its unit price is 12months by moving to 65nm, MS wont be at 65nm till the end of 2008, this means Sonys had less loss the times its been selling and will in result have more room. Or so I need to use semaphore to explain that?

If you're outside of the US or Larger Europe, you wont be able to play most of the MP games due to bad net connections. This isnt like a surprise, Ozy, NZ etc, they all have crap net.

it means Sony can afford to keep up or outpace MS's price drops, sonys already got the price:performance so they'll push hard to keep it.

I dont think thats going to happen as Sonys further through its new process than MS despite the short time the PS3s been out.

There will be a drop at the end of the year when the new 65nm part goes live, but nothing much.

I do believe the Halo 3 marketing campaign was 10 million. But then you don't seem to have the best grasp of numbers when you don't see a difference between 8.1 million and 1 million, or 1 billion and 10 million. PiNwOrM
10million doesnt buy you drink sponsorship, or 6 adds out of 7 in primetime either.
