...a cross over adapter is viable when going from the laptop but remember its not for routers. Also check your DHCP IP times, if they're anything less than a day then boost the times up, unplug and plug back in. If you're linking through a laptop you'll have issues if you dont make sure QoS (Quality of service) on the LT is used.
HL3 will not exist as HL3.Instead, it will happen through Episodic releases which are happening through the HL2 Episode 1, 2 and if they choose to make another after episode 3. Gabe is also a moron who ran Outlook on a server which contained source code. HL3 will be a complete product just like the others, but you wont see it this gen.
No-one knows whats going on with haze or where its going to end up, except PS3. I imagine itll end up on other platforms given theve not shown much of it.

Im guess its it has more to do with the live issues pushing some over the edge after the scratching, RRODing and HDDVD decision etc.
it's like everything else you pay for. sometimes cable gets interrupted. and power. and water. and phones. but do you still pay for them? sure. just because they have an issue doesn't mean i won't support it still. it's fun when it works and when it doesn't, i have enough single player stuff to do to keep me busy until it comes back up. so yeah, for what it's worth, i can deal for a little while. but if it were for like weeks or months when i couldn't get on, then there'd be a problem. but it's been okay for me so far.councelor12
Oh I'm pretty sure Blu ray put the nail in the coffin just recently and have no hopes that HD-DVD will survive. I just personally think that HD-DVD was a superior format from day 1. That is all I am trying to argue. Cheaper to produce and better quality since Day 1. You can't argue that.suade907
Difference is its not day 1 anymore, BDLive arrives this year before xmas and that surpasses HDDVDs base feature set and by then 50gig disks will be standard resulting in a quality boost (the xformers BD preview showed that some time ago).
