i feel for you, i really do!do not read my posts then, fact is i have seen it running.this will be my last reply to you as i find you rude!SeekeRuk
Wow, seen it running, that must mean you speak for everyone. I mean you only saw a bare bones beta product which isnt due to for ages, unpopulated by average people or final features or even game integration so that must be conclusive.

Home provides a whole heap of things: * Biggest is the value-add quality which customizable features provide, especially for women (who are more common on the PS consoles than Xbox) * The chance for publishers and developers to provide detailed information without needing to go via the media. * Commerce, the chance to buy and sell things. (The system to create content for Home is under dev, and there is a mall there which is currently locked off, I wouldn't be surprised if the PS Store moved there as well) * Want to buy music, movies, tv? Im betting sonys working on that for home already. * The party system which allows you and your friends to quickly join into a party and jump into a game together without messing round * The access anywhere mentality. At work, or school? No problems you can access Home with the Social networking site or from the java client on your cellphone. * The chance to manage the more advanced media features with a simple interface. Share you videos/music/pictures with friends, or upload movies to their net site. * ...and best of all... to make consoles a little more human.

PES 2008 is on the desk right now, PES 06 all the way till Konami get the lag sorted for the 360. Many people are complaining about the PS3 and ignoring the problem exists on other platforms... btw XBOX LIVE rocks ( & i am an avid PC GAMER) :-).lionelsd
The PS3 problems been fixed, they patched it away, tho Im sure it wont be perfect itll be okay.

Another reason for them starting by themselves was the new remote start feature which is still being worked on, 2.01 should fix most issues but if you find more just tell sony.

[QUOTE="ProjectPat187"] u mean research what I have already done I guess u really think you proved something O'well we do have those types who exists (YOU), anyway, how many BD and HD-DVD movies use h264 hell most BD disc (the gones transfers) are encoded in MPEG4 or VC-1, (they still use the crappy MPEG-2 codec on some) and most HD-DVD use VC-1

They use MPEG4 AVC, which is also known as h264. The early ones like the early HDDVDs used MPEG2.
