I'm fairly new to Battlefield having started at BC2 (I've played BC2, BF3+4). My personal favourite was BF3. It had the best variety of maps. I really like the urban warfare of BF3/4 even if full destructability was abandoned. What I didn't like about BF2 was how vehicles were OP. Later games fixed that.
@slappy54 @terrariafan247 @RCT4ShouldExist At least we actually own our games. Try downloading a Steam game when Steam eventually shuts down. At least as long as I take care of them I can play my PS3 games indefinitely. Low res doesn't matter either because console gamers aren't sitting inches away from the screen.
@NikIvRu I remember having to actually use the journal to find your way around in Morrowind. Recent Elder Scrolls just use map markers and fast travel.
@sexyragu @terrariafan247 @RCT4ShouldExist The frame rate drops in Dark Souls were pretty extreme though. Every time I visited a bonfire I had to cringe at a sub 10 fps animation of the bonfire smoke filling the screen.
@sabas10 PC Port or not I'd still expect most open world games to be able to handle online free roam. GTA 4 did it and that game is 6 years old. And although it was made for consoles GTA V has much better graphics than Watch Dogs and can still handle MP at a good fps. If Ubisoft put in more effort they could have easily put a 2-4 player free mode or a few exclusive replacement modes.
