@Leemundo: Games focus on competitive play because that's what people like, that's why games like CS GO, Hearthstone, DOTA 2, League of Legends and soon Halo 5 have modes dedicated to those who want to play competitively and want to win.

If you dislike it, then guess what? All of those games have casual modes for people who DON'T want to play competitively

You are basically bitching about competitiveness in a mode built for competitive play

You have no legitimate criticisms and are whining and bitching for the sake of whining and bitching, you are what's wrong with the gaming community.

@Marky360:

"I'm sorry but that is the stupidest shit I ever heard games are not important life is I shouldn't have to schedule special tie to play a game"

To YOU Games aren't important, last time I checked what's important and what's not to YOU doesn't apply to everyone else. If I played a game competitively, put time and effort into getting my rank up and had it damaged because someone asshole went AFK then I'd want that person banned or punished too.

Someone else already stated this, if it happens once and in a while it probably won't be an issue, they're not going to ban you right off the bat if you have an emergency, but doing this on a routine basis will get your temporary banned, good riddance.

"if something comes where I need to leave or have to walk away for a second then oh well so be it the game is not that important and in no way should you be penalized for leaving it for a second that is just stupid and honestly irresponsible"

Once again, if it happens every now and then, it's not a big deal and you won't get punished, if you're routinely quitting games and going AFK then you will rightfully get punished for it. If you're in a position where you'll routinely have to go AFK or quit games then Arena isn't for you and you should stick to playing casual modes like Warzone.

"Their basically making little kids have to choose to continue playing the game instead of listening to their parents 343 should be ashamed of themselves"

You are beyond an idiot, now 343 is responsible for younger kids who won't do their chores? How about parents be responsible and tell their kids when they and when they can't play video games? Or maybe 343 and Microsoft should parent their player base too?

"This policy won't stand not when the parents get wind of it they will be forced to drop it and they should."

Yup, 343 should be responsible for everyone who has other obligations and responsibility, even though it'll ruin the game for everyone else

You might be the second most stupid individual I've met on this site, the other one ironically posted in this thread too, congratulations. Please find a new hobby because video games, the industry and the community would be better off without people like you.

@Vambrotious: Sure, if 2 people play routinely they'll probably get better even with split screen, the issue is that there were waaaay too many players who brought guest who couldn't tell their guns from their asses and that ruined it for the rest of us

@GRADERBLADE13: Been a while but if I recall Swat games are usually on smaller maps like Guardian and Black Out in Halo 3.

@jonexotic: Treyarch COD's are fun, but now we're getting those only once every 3 years D:

I may buy BLOPS 3 since at least the community will be in it for the long run since Infinity Ward is garbage and Sledgehammer is meh

@Marky360: Then that's not the game's fault and the fault of everyone else. Life does happen but when you play a competitive arena game then you are making a commitment to see the game through. Even on CS GO when you play competitive, they give you a disclaimer telling you that by playing a competitive game you are committing to up to 45 minutes.

It sucks, but that's why you manage your life a little better, there's no reason why everyone else has to be punished because "life happens"

And if you think life is going to happen to you, then don't play arena and stick to casual games.

Thank you 343, first you got rid of split screen meaning we won't get players with 3 of their overweight friends playing with them as guest and causing teams to lose with their suckage

And now you're punishing the rage quitters and giving Halo 5 the pure, competitive multiplayer experience that it deserves

You have surpassed Bungie, Thank you

@lunchbox2042: You know what's not fun? Whining and crying about everything which is what people like you do

You know what else isn't fun? Playing a competitive match and losing because someone on your team decided to rage quit. Yes, ruin it for everyone else

I'm glad 343 is weeding out the garbage from the community.
