Both of these games are among my favorites on the Wii. But as far as how addictive they are, I know for a fact that I played Brawl more than I have played MK Wii, so I'd have to say Brawl.

The main reason I bought my Wii is because my friends is a very convincing person, almost like a used car salesman. Two other huge reasons was for the potential (that we are now starting to see this year, especially with WiiMotion+) and the VC since I have never owned any other console other than a PS2.

Pokemon Stadium 2, Battle Tanx, Majora's Mask, Banjo-Kazooie, Goldeneye. I haven't been able to play any of these games except Battle Tanx, but from what I've heard, I'd definitely buy them if they came out on VC.

I know that a lot of people ask this sort of question, but you normally get the same, typical answer over and over again (Super Mario Galaxy, Brawl, No More Heroes, etc). I just think this will broaden that sort of question with relatively better results for people that enjoy looking at which games have been named favorites among Wii gamers, I myself enjoy reading these topics. The genres are: sports, fighting, action, adventure, platformer, racing, puzzle, rhythm, simulation, shooters, and strategy. I know it's a lot, but I think it'll be interesting. So I'll go first...

  • Sports: Wii Sports (sorry to say I haven't played any other sports game on the Wii yet)
  • Fighting: Super Smash Bros. Brawl
  • Action: Star Wars: The Force Unleashed (though it was an overall disappointment)
  • Adventure: The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess
  • Platformer: Super Paper Mario
  • Racing: Mario Kart Wii
  • Puzzle: World of Goo
  • Rhythm: Wii Music (I actually like it better than Guitar Hero or Rock Band)
  • Simulations: Haven't gotten my hands on AC: CF yet
  • Shooter: Battalion Wars ii
  • Strategy: Fire Emblem: Radiant Dawn

My dad plays the Wii more than my mom, but they've both played WiiSports, Mario Kart Wii, and SSB Brawl. I even got my 69 year old grandmother to bowl with us. It was hilarious when she got a 207 on her first round, she was so happy.

Well some of the game I've bought have made me very pleased, but some games I've played are, IMHO, horrible. I'm just going to give the example of Carnival Games. Yeah, I know it was for a different audience with a completely different age, but I tried it and hated it. But this year, with all the hype for the new releases will, for me, have a major impact on my satisfaction with the Wii; and it looks VERY promising. No doubts that all in all, the Wii will live up to expectations.

My top three are...

  1. Rune Factory Frontier
  2. Little King's Story
  3. Monster Hunter 3
Hmm... 3 seems like such a small number for the great year we're about to have with the Wii.

3 days ago I as boxing for about an hour and I'm feeling it in my elbow, which I think is odd. I'm not even positive that it's from boxing though. But I have previously had Wii-related injuries while playing tennis with a short 5 year old... need I say more, I surely hope not.
