I just got a new samsung home theater system but it only has one digital optical audio port. If I just put that in my tv will my ps3, 360 and cable box give me 5.1 surround sound or do I need an optical audio splitter to get this? I've been reading mixed things online saying that most tvs only give you 2.0 but then some say no. So i'm confused because i'm new to this home theater stuff. My tv is a Vizio VX32L.
hey just got a new comp and picked up crysis today and in the main menu i clicked on optimize my settings... it put everything to high and i run the game at 1680x1050with no AA..and for the most part am getting a very good framerate.. but once in a while it does drop and after long play time for some reason it will drop alot ... like i just played for 45 minutes and about the last 5 minutes it was dropping alot but in the first 40 minutes it was dropping rarely... in the setting menu is there anything i can drop to medium that won't give a big graphics drop but give a fps boost.. also anything i can raise to very high that won't mess with my fps.....
Interested in playing some pc games like Crysis for example. Just wondering how would my comp handle a game like that and other high end graphically done games... Didn't get it primarily for games but would like to have the option of playing any game that comes out.. also would like to know if games that come out on both the 360 and pc would look better on my pc than my 360/ps3...Any info would be greatly appreciated.
